Hi folks,

This is my first post on this forum.

Just wanted to pass my comments on this particular show - because from watching hindi serials (Kyunki Saas Bhi KBT), Saath Phere (on and off), Ghar Ki Lakshmi (on and off), and a few others that I am not following right now - I think GES is the best because of its characterization and story. Sometimes the story fluctuates but - its better than all those stories that have deaths and facial surgeries, ridiculous leaps and one-person saga.

My favorite characters are obviously Sujit, Kakul's father, Neha and Rishab, likely all character's have a story and don't dissapear.

There were just a few observations/questions:

I do think Kakul acts a little like a interventionist sometimes, (even though she is a good person)?

Lately, I don't understand how Dr. Rishab got into this mess, shouldn't he have contacted the police a long time ago when he seconded his suspicion? This is normal practice in a supposedly big and open health facility.

Dr. Karnik's sudden negativity is also a shocker.

Uttara's negativity is sometimes just unreasonable, are there real people like that? She needs more rationale to be that negative now.

Did anyone think the whole section on Devika's abortion was speeded/not shown well?

Did Tulika's story with Nana's son ever develop (I may have missed it)?

Lastly, Neha found out a while ago that her mom was taken advantage of (in terms of the business) after her father's death. She knew that Amarnath and maybe even her real father were behind this. For a few episodes she was mad about this, but now she is helping Amarnath and Sharad with their company - Did the story get cut?

Thanks you guys, and thanks to all the people who post written updates.

*Viewbies Note: Hey, Nivini, welcome to Ghar Ek Sapna forum, I would just like to infrom you, that brilliant questions/observations, so I made your GES Question, sticky for a while, ok?*

There were just a few observations/questions:

I do think Kakul acts a little like a interventionist sometimes, (even though she is a good person)? Erm, I think that Kakul is not my choice for a lead protaganist, as you can never guess what's on her mind...she sometimes stands up for herself, and somtimes cries her head of😳

Lately, I don't understand how Dr. Rishab got into this mess, shouldn't he have contacted the police a long time ago when he seconded his suspicion? This is normal practice in a supposedly big and open health facility. Hehe, in simpler terms, this is for the "streching" of GES, they want to strech GES, well, see Rishabh didnt want to get into trouble and all the evidence pointed towards him being the bad one, so nothing much can be done😳

Dr. Karnik's sudden negativity is also a shocker. Well, someone HAS to be negative after Uttra...devika...Vanshika...Gautam.

Uttara's negativity is sometimes just unreasonable, are there real people like that? She needs more rationale to be that negative now. Well, in simpler terms, do saas need a reason to be cross with thier bahus?😆

Did anyone think the whole section on Devika's abortion was speeded/not shown well? Well, see they needed to move her out of the way and bring in a new character and thats what they did.

Did Tulika's story with Nana's son ever develop (I may have missed it)? Well, seeing Tulika shown a little, YES, it will develop😳

Well see, Neha, no one knows whats in her mind, but she isnt against AN, but Saxena as if now😃

welcome to GES forum

I do think Kakul acts a little like a interventionist sometimes, (even though she is a good person)?yep i agree

Lately, I don't understand how Dr. Rishab got into this mess, shouldn't he have contacted the police a long time ago when he seconded his suspicion? This is normal practice in a supposedly big and open health facility.i did not read the updates for a while so dont know about this track but i think he should have contacted police but so unlike rishab to not do so usually he is always the smart one out of the bunch

Dr. Karnik's sudden negativity is also a shocker.you can never say who is good or bad in indian serials

Uttara's negativity is sometimes just unreasonable, are there real people like that? She needs more rationale to be that negative now.i dont get how can a person live being so negative towrd everyone else

Did anyone think the whole section on Devika's abortion was speeded/not shown well? i guess because they have many other track to focus on

Did Tulika's story with Nana's son ever develop (I may have missed it)?nope like alot of the other stories its left hanging

Lastly, Neha found out a while ago that her mom was taken advantage of (in terms of the business) after her father's death. She knew that Amarnath and maybe even her real father were behind this. For a few episodes she was mad about this, but now she is helping Amarnath and Sharad with their company - Did the story get cut?she finds out that it was saxena who did all of that and thats why she had no grudge againt amarnath she is helping saxena because she feels sorry for him and because hse know guatams intentions

really good question hadfun awnsering😃

Heyloo nice initiative

I do think Kakul acts a little like a interventionist sometimes, (even though she is a good person)?

Well she could mayhaps focus more on her own life with samman, rahter then playing mother theresa for the rest of the world.

Lately, I don't understand how Dr. Rishab got into this mess, shouldn't he have contacted the police a long time ago when he seconded his suspicion? This is normal practice in a supposedly big and open health facility.

True, contacting the police should have been his first step.I think rishabh is not best friends with police or national security. even when bunty got kidnapped he would not risk taking their risk.

Dr. Karnik's sudden negativity is also a shocker.

GES has been a shocker since the beginning. nothing is strange or unexpected anymore

Uttara's negativity is sometimes just unreasonable, are there real people like that? She needs more rationale to be that negative now.

I do not think that uttar's character lies far from reality. people like uttara do exist and like uttara they have many shades and layers to their character.

Did anyone think the whole section on Devika's abortion was speeded/not shown well?

Yeah they should have focused more on her mental instability and sujeet who comes to her rescue. I would have enjoyed that track much more then this never ending rishab-hospital flop.

Did Tulika's story with Nana's son ever develop (I may have missed it)?

I think the GES writers forget that they introduced this love tale once upon time.

No, as far as I remember Amarnath told her his side of the story. Amarnath was manipulated by Saxena and did everything on his suggestion. When Neha came to know her revenge against amarnath faded and she started a man-to-man war with saxena.

There were just a few observations/questions:

I do think Kakul acts a little like a interventionist sometimes, (even though she is a good person)? Kakul is very much of a conventional bahu, so her being a protagonist is pretty much a waste...she's a flat character, if you know what I mean.

Lately, I don't understand how Dr. Rishab got into this mess, shouldn't he have contacted the police a long time ago when he seconded his suspicion? This is normal practice in a supposedly big and open health facility. It seems Rishab sort of gets into everything just for the heck of it. It's possible that the creatives are saying "Good people have to go through a lot"😆😆

Dr. Karnik's sudden negativity is also a shocker. You know...something needs to move the story along.😆

Uttara's negativity is sometimes just unreasonable, are there real people like that? She needs more rationale to be that negative now. She's the typical dramatic saas in saas-bahus...she brings out the interesting stuff (things that make u want to choke her😆)

Did anyone think the whole section on Devika's abortion was speeded/not shown well? I guess it was something that was a bit ehhh for Indian tv...so they just eanted to get through it😕

Did Tulika's story with Nana's son ever develop (I may have missed it)? I thought that was cute...but I highly doubt it😆😆😆

I guess they thought we were bored of the same story, so they thought of bringing in new things...but I liked that sequence...Neha's a very strong character, and woman!😛

Very good discussion topic darling!👏👏👏
