geet is very much hurt with maan's behavior after their fight when he was at fault so she decide to ignore him n never talk with him any more but her heart is very restless with her minds decision

And then they were back to their old self.. As if last day's fight never happened. And she also didn't mentioned anything about his last days behaviour.

That's how, it was between them. She was unable to show any anger on him. She was helpless..as her heart was not in her control.

Things were looking normal once again. Everything was going smooth. And then she realised that its her own feelings which were complicating things for her & was affecting her friendship with him. So..to avoid any more problems..she decided to control her emotions..as may be she was the only one, who was feeling their friendship to be something more special..more deep! Whereas for him...it was just friendship..nothing more!

It was difficult..but still she was trying to control her heart...saying that "he doesn't feel like that for you!"
But her heart would some times argue back that he does feel something about her..if not the same!

And she would be unable to say anything more..as she also had felt it many times. His gesture had made her to think like that.

It was rainy season. But that day, the sky was clear and it didn't looked that it will rain. So, she didn't took the umbrella while going for tution. She had walked more than half distance, when suddenly it started to rain slightly. She walked with fast steps and managed to reached the tution class, just before the rain become heavy. All the while there class was going on, it was raining continously.

When the class ended, it was still raining. Like her, meera also hadn't brought her umbrella..so they decided to wait for rain to stop or slow down..as all three cant go in pinky's umbrella!

When he saw her standing there, he asked her as to why she was still standing there?? And after knowing the reason, he offered,

"toh..tu mere sath chal na!!"

she denied first, but he was not listening & then the rain was also not stoping. she agreed..as meera & pinky also told the same. And she went with him!

She didn't wanted to think on that line again, but she did felt good that he cared about her. And her heart was excited with this realisation.

She was not able to say anything...coz of the way her heart was beating so fast. It was him...talking occassionally and she answering when needed. She just wanted to feel that moment..with him, walking in that rain, under the same umbrella.

When they reached at the point, where from both had to go in different directions, she told him that she will manage from there, as the rain had slow down then. But he did not agreed. Instead he suggested that she should take the umbrella and he can go as his home wasn't that far.

After arguing for few minutes, he said with finality,

"Maine bola na..tu leke jaa.. Toh bas!"

And then he gave that umbrella in her hand.
Saying a bye, he went away...with fast steps.

May be it was nothing so big for him to do that. But for her, it was! His that caring gesture had touched her heart deeply! She kept standing there for few seconds, looking in the direction he went..with that smiling face.

Then started walking towards her home...smiling to herself.
She was happy...her heart was happy. And the excitement was so much that she wasn't able to control. So when she saw that little puddle in the middle of the road...she just once looked around to see if anyone was there.

After confirming that the road was empty...she just jumped in that puddle...splashing that muddy water on the road & on herself . And then laughed freely...like a carefree kid!

There were many more incidence like that which had made her to believe that he had feelings for her.

She didn't know if it was only her imagination or an illusion which her heart desperately wanted to be a reality...But his talks, his behaviour had left an impression on her that her presence or absence does make difference to him. That he was also affected by her!
And that intentional or unintentional behaviour of his, had played a major role in increasing her hope & feelings. It had encouraged her to dream something which her heart wished for..but was hesitant.

She had to miss her tution that day coz her cousins had come to their place and all planed to go out. She didn't want to go for 2 reason. 1st, an important topic was to be started that day at the class. And 2nd & the more important reason was him!

She didn't wanted to loose that 1 n half hour with him and that walk.. if she could get lucky enough!

But her cousins were not ready to hear any of her excuses. They argued that she could get notes from her classmates. So she didnt had any choice left but to go with them.

They enjoyed a lot..as after a long time they all were together. But..she was still missing him. Though she was with them..but her heart & mind was busy thinking about him. She kept wondering that what he would be doing now? Will he miss her? Or would he even notice her absence??
All that evening her heart was trying to find answers for these questions...but nothing could console it!

Next day..

It was lunch break. She was taking her lunch box out, when he came with his lunch box in his hand and settled next to her.

Before she could greet him or say anything.. He asked suddenly,

"geet..tu kal mele me gai thi?"

she was surprised that how come he knows about that?

"haan!" she replied after a few seconds.

"toh tune mujhe bataya kyun nahi?"

she was confused at his question... But soon...he cleared it!

"tujhe pata hai, bhai was also planning to go aur mujhe bhi bol rahe the chalne ko...per main mana kar diya! Agar mujhe pata hota ke tu bhi aayegi..toh main mana nahi karta na!"

he told her..without knowing the effect of his words on her!

She wasn't expecting him to say anything like that! Her heart was beating furiously. The thought, that he also wished to be with her...excited her. She was happy to know that he would have come..if he had known that she will also be there!

She wanted to tell him that how much she missed him the last evening.. And wanted to be with him... But nothing came to her lips.

"next time se..mujhe zarur batana. Hum sath chalenge...samjhi?" he said taking the bite of his fav "muter-paneer" from her lunch box. It was normal for him to eat from her lunch box.

"pakka!"she replied with a sweet smile.

However hard she tried to supress her feelings for him.. It was impossible for her to do that. Every time his talks, his behaviour force her to forget her decision...and feel this feel of being close to him.

In any other situation or to anyone else...this may not be anything special.
But when your heart yarns for a single glance from a certain someone..and if that someone's all attention is on you & that someone wished to be with you... Then only you can understand..how she would have felt at that moment.

She was so happy..she was on cloud nine that not only he had felt her absence.. But also wanted to be with her!
And her already hopeless heart was going crazy with this peace of information.

Great update! Thank you! I’m usually sitting on edge when i’m reading this as I know what is going to happen and I can’t bear it. She is falling so deep and she is going to have such a heartbreak. I’m bracing myself for it and i’ve already got the tissue box ready next to me...
