So the opponent was geet & maan realized by her blushing when his shirt was torn off

So maan has won 2 parts of the contest

Third part is shooting but he will surely win b/c he is a commando but he does not want anyone to know that

Maan attempts to save geet from the servant’s unruly husband but geet still gets shot in the process. I hope she is ok

Diwan Vidyasagar Bhardwaj rushed to tell the King and Queen of Kshitija about attack on Princess Rajlakshmi. Diwan Vidyasagar had come to call Princess Rajlakshmi and her sisters for lunch as their chief guests i.e. Kings, Princes and nobility had finished eating. But seeing Princess Rajlakshmi being shot and Yuvraj Madhav Rao carrying Princess Rajlakshmi to her bed chamber stunned Diwanji. As expected Maharaj Gajendra was furious at lack of security so that a garderner, Bhawar Singh could come in close vicinity of the Princess Rajlakshmi. He immediately suspended the gaurds on duty for a week.

Doctor was summoned SOS, while Maharani Bhagyashree rushed to her daughter’s bed chamber. Thirty minutes later when the doctor arrived, Maharani Bhagyashree was sitting at her daughter’s bedside caressing her head.

Lady doctor came and examined Princess Rajlakshmi and said, “Maharaj aur Maharaniji, koi bhay ki baat nahi. Rajkumari-sa ko goli chhu ke nikal gayi. Zakhm hai kintu bahut gehra nahi. Mai dawa laga karke patti bandh deti hoon. Teen-chaar din har roz patti badlni hogi. Ho sake toh zakhm ko geela matt hone dijiyega.” (Your Majesties, there is no cause for concern. The bullet has only brushed past Princess’ arm. There is a wound but its not deep. I’ll apply a medicated ointment now and bandage her arm. For three-four days a fresh bandage has to be daily applied on Princess’ wound. Kindly see that her wound does not get wet.)

“Doctor, humari suputri ka sheeghr vivaah hone wala hai toh.........” (Doctor, our daughter is soon to be married so...........) Maharani asked perturbed.

“Maharani, ek hafte mein zakhm bhar jaayega aur patti ki zarurat nahi hogi. Dekhiye ki Rajkumari-sa ko paushtik bhojan milen. Agar Rajkumari-sa se dard bardasht nahi ho paa raha ho toh yeh dawa de dijiyega (doctor prescribed some medicines). Agar bukhaar aaye toh accha hai ki goli (bullet) asar kam ho raha hai. Bukhaar naa bhi aaye toh bhi chinta ki baat nahi. Mai har roz patti badalne aa jaaongi. Jab zakhm sookh jaayega tabh mai aapko ek ointment lagane ke liye doongi jisse Rajkumari-sa ki bahaan (arm) par nishaan bilkul nahi rahega.” (Your Majesty, Princess’ wound will heal in a week’s time and bandage won’t be necessary. Kindly see that Princes is fed nutitious meals. Incase she has unbearable pain please give her this medicine (doctor prescribed some medicines). Incase Princess develops fever, it means that bullet’s toxic effect is reducing. Even if she doesn’t develop fever there is no need to worry. I’ll come daily for next four days and change her bandage. Once her wound dries, I’ll give you an ointment to apply so that there is no scar on Princess’ arm.) Saying this doctor left with Munim Shambhu Nath.

Maharaj Gajendra was badly shaken at Rajeshwari’s attack. Maharaj Gajendra was very possessive and over protective about his eldest daughter and use to loose control over his emotions if she was hurt or ill anytime. Diwan Vidyasagar hesistantly came near Maharaj Gajendra to remind the King regarding the next agenda of the day. “Maha.......Maharaj......... kewal Yuvraj Madhav Rao bacche hain kyunki woh goli chalane ki pratispradha ke aakhiri daawe daar hain.” (Maha.......Maharaj......... only Yuvraj Madhav Rao is left in pistol shooting competition as he is the last challenger.)

“Diwanji, abb “aap” aage ke sab karye dekhiye.” (Diwanji, now “you” see to all this.)

“Maharaj yeh aap kya keh rahe hain? Aap “vadhu” (bride) ke pitah hain aapko hi toh ‘vijayeta’ ghoshit karna hai. Aap ko smaran nahi ki hum “kanya-paksh” (bride side) hain. Aur yahaan aaye sab Raja, Maharaja, Yuvraj aur Rajkumar humare atithiti hain.” (What is this Maharaj? You cannot be weak as you are bride’s father. Therefore, only you can announce the ‘winner of swayamvar’. You are forgetting that this is bride’s kingdom and we are bride’s family. Here all the Kings, Crown Princes and Princes are our guest.)

“Kintu hum abhi apni Raj ke paas rehna chahte hain. Hum Raj ko chodh kar kaheen nahi jaayenge.” (But I want to stay near my Raj. I will not leave my Raj and go anywhere.)

“Maharaj, kya hummein kuch bolne ki anumati hai?” (Your Majesty, do I have permission to say something?) Diwan Vidyasagar Bhardwaj requested. Maharaj nodded affirmative. “Maharaj, hummein baaki Rajkumariyon ne, daasiyon ne aur pehredaaron ne soochit kiya hai ki..........” (Your Majesty, the three Princesses and the palace staff have informed me that.........) Diwanji narrated whole Bhawar Singh incident to Maharaj and Maharani and then concluded by saying, “Iss kaaranvash, Yuvraj Madhav Rao Rajsinghania hi adhikaari hain, Rajkumari Rajeshwari ke “var” athva ‘sahbhaagi’ banne ke. Kya unhein phir bhi pratispradha mein bhaag lene ki avashiyakta?” (Hence, Crown Prince Madhav Rao Rajsinghania is entitled to become Princess Rajeshwari’s “bridegroom” as well as ‘life partner’. Does he still need to compete in the pistol shooting challenge?)

Maharaj Gajendra was in serious thought when Maharani Bhagyashree said, “Maharaj, Yuvraj (Crown Prince) Madhav Rao Rajsinghania humare honewale “jawai-sa” hain kyunki pehli do ‘swayamvar ki sharthon’ mein woh vijayi rahein hain. Yahaan baaki upasthith ek bhi Raja, Maharaj, Yuvraj athva Rajkumar ek bhi ‘swayamvar ki sharthein’ poori nahi kar paaye. Kintu iss vishaye mein nirnaye karne se pehle kripya aap Yuvraj (Crown Prince) Madhav Rao se vratalaap kar lijiye. Kyunki jahaan tak hum Yuvraj ko inn kuch diwas mein samajh paayen hain woh bahut satye priye (truthful), swabhimaani (self respecting), swabhalambhi (self dependent), kartavyapoorn (dutiful) evam nishtha priye (man of principles) hain. Kaheen yeh naa ho ki jaldbaazi mein hum apne bhavi “jawai-sa” yaani Yuvraj (Crown Prince) Madhav Rao ko aprasann (displeased) evam krodith (angry) kar dein.” (Your Majesty, Crown Prince Madhav Rao Rajsinghania is our future “son-in-law” as he has already won the two conditions of swayamvar. No other invited Kings, Crown Princes and Princes have been able to win even one condition of swayamvar. However before taking any decision regarding the winner, I would suggest you talk to Crown Prince Madhav Rao. Because whatever little I’ve seen of him in these few days, I’ve found him to be extremely truthful, self respecting, self dependent, dutiful and a man of principles. It should not happen that in order close this swayamvar in haste we make our future “son-in-law” displeased or angry.)

“Maharaj, Maharaniji satye keh raheen hain.” (Your Majesty, even I think Her Majesty is right.)

As Maharani Bhagyashree had predicted, Crown Prince (Yuvraj) Madhav Rao refused to be declared a winner until Yuvraj Madhav Rao (Maan) won the last challenge. Although Maan had said that he wants to participate in last challenge but now he was in delima how to shoot without giving himself away.

Rudra came looking for Maan and saw him standing lost in his thoughts in front of the target practice. “Bhai-sa, aap kiss soch-vichaar mein hain? Aap toh apne baiyen haath (left hand) se bhi lakshye beidh saktein hain.” (Bhai why are you in such deep thoughts? You can even hit a bullseye if you shoot with your left hand.) Just then the refree announced arena to be cleared of spectators. Once the voice on the mic said “SAVADHAN”, Maan picked up the shooting pistol and took the aim and fired. Although Maan was not happy with his performance but it was in bull’s eye closer to target than any other competitor thereby making him the winner.

Once the refree announced, “Aaj ki pratispradha (competition) samapth huyi.” (Competition is now over!) Rudra came rushing in. He was a little peeved with Maan and said, “Bhai-sa, aapne baiyen haath (left hand) se lakshye kyun beidha? Kya aap iss pratispradha ko haar naa chahte the?” (Bhai, why did you shoot the target with your left hand? Did you want to loose this competition?)

“Dekho rudra baat yeh hai ki...........” (Listen Rudra, its like this that........)

“Hum kuch nahi jaante aapko phir lakshye beidhna hoga aur iss baar apne daiyen haath (right hand) se. Hum aapki pratibha dekhna chahte hain.” (No I don’t want to listen to any excuse. I want to see you shoot from your right hand so I can see your full prowess.) Rudra complained like a three year old child. Maan nodded his head at his brother’s childish behaviour then walked ahead where there were target boards all standing in a row in one line. Maan took the pistol in his right hand and aimed from the side of the board and all the boards collapsed with his one bullet only!!

Unknown to the two brothers, Maharaj Gajendra and Diwan Vidyasagar had entered the shooting arena to congratulate Maan on his victory when they saw Maan’s true prowess.
