RAJMATA SAVITRI DEVI (KHURANA) RAJSINGHANIA
76 yr. Old. Queen Mother of Kingdom of Ramgarh. Chairperson of Khurana Group of Industries i.e. Khurana Constructions, Khurana Interiors and textiles, Khurana Hotels, Khurana Hospitals, Khurana Foundation etc. Khurana Industries was launched by Savitri Devi’s father-in-law, Maharaj Indravadhan who felt that times of Royalty have long been over. Present times, status is based on merit (kaarye kshamta) of a person. Savitri Devi’s husband had started Khurana Hospitals so that excellent medical care is provided to Khuranas as well as the society. Savitri Devi’s husband, Amarjeet was a renowed cardiologist. Savitri Devi is a firm believer of parampara (traditions) and royal protocol. But she is also a very warm person and treats her daughter-in-law as her daughter. Despite of being Royalty she has lot of compassion for citizen of her Kingdom whether they are rich or poor. Hence people of Ramgarh love and respect her. However, she knows where to draw the line and is extremely conscious about respect and pride of Rajsinghania Rajparivar (royal Rajsinghania family).
MAHARAJ SATYAJEET (KHURANA) RAJSINGHANIA
57yr. Old king of Kingdom of Ramgarh. CEO of Khurana Group of Industries. Yuvraj Madhav Rao Rajsinghania (Maan) is the apple of Maharaj’s eye. Maharaj Satyajeet is an extremely loved and just ruler. He loves his son, Maan to the level of obssession. He is unable to bear if Maan is not in front of his eyes once in every 24hrs. He is constantly scared about Yuvraj Maan leaving Maharaj Satyajeet and Khurana Industries. He even gets nightmares showing that Maharaj Satyajeet is dead, Yuvraj Maan thrown out of the Palace & Khurana Industries, and his nephew, Rajkumar Arjun is being crowned as the “King of Ramgarh”.
MAHARANI SUMITRA (KHURANA) RAJSINGHANIA
54yr. Old. She is very elegant, graceful and compassionate person. She is a well educated and she often displays her intellectual side while advicing Maharaj Satyajeet in decision making. But in front of her husband’s elder brother, Rajkumar Yudhjeet she prefers not to display her intellectual side and get insulted. She loves all her sons equally but has an especially soft corner for her nephew Arjun.
RAJKUMAR YUDHJEET RAJSINGHANIA
60yr. Old. He is first cousin of Maharaj Satyajeet. Although he is elder to his cousin, Satyajeet in age but Maharaj Satyajeet’s father was elder to Rajkumar Yudhjeet’s father. Besides Yudhjeet’s extragavant ways i.e. alcoholism and womanising along with lack of responsibility regards royal duties made Yudhjeet’s grandfather, Maharaj Indravardhan crown Satyajeet as King/ “Maharaj” of Ramgarh and Rajkumar Madhav Rao Rajsinghania (Maan) as “Yuvraj”. Yudhjeet has an extremely short temper which is extremely volatile when aroused. He is still living in olden times where girls are not allowed to study. Women are meant to be looked at but not be involved in any decision making! Also, if the royal name of Rajsinghania’s is ridiculed by any royal family member, he will not keep quite until Maharaj Satyajeet doesn’t disown that person even if it his family member. There is a dark and evil side of his life which no one is aware!
YUVRAJ MADHAV RAO RAJSINGHANIA (MAAN SINGH KHURANA) (Maan)
35yr. old Crown Prince of Ramgarh. He is the eldest son of Maharaj Satyajeet and Maharani Sumitra. He has done his Bachelors in Architecture as well as MBA. He is the future heir of Khurana Industries as well as successor to the throne of Ramgarh. He is an extremely obedient son and has so far never disobeyed his elders including his scheming uncle (Tau-sa). He is a very compassionate, dedicated and humane man who always goes out of his way to help poor and needy inside as well as outside his kingdom. However he has otherside to his personality as well which he keeps hidden from his family i.e. he is very impatient, ruthless and has a violent as well as uncontrollable temper. Maan tries to be patient and keep his temper under control by doing yoga so that he seldom looses his patience and temper. He has also learnt to be patient as well as control his temper by his intensive military training. He lives a triple life - Crowned Prince of Ramgarh, MD of Khurana Construction as well as “Black Cat” Commando.
Yuvraj Madhav Rao Rajsinghania believes on getting success by one’s own merit just like his grandfather as well as bringing his education to use, hence he has opened a new wing in Khurana Group of Industries called, Khurana Constructions. Now he is MD of Khurana Constructions.
Simultaneously he is also being trained for the job of CEO of Khurana Group of Industries by JSK (Jeet Singh Khurana). For security reasons, he goes under the name of “Maan Singh Khurana” when outside Ramgarh. He is extremely intelligent and a tough employer to please. His impatience, ruthlessness and uncontrollable temper come out against inefficient KC staff. He hates lies, gossip & deceit. Maan always supports truth even if its spoken by people who are of lower status and of a lesser intellect than him. For him merit of a person is more important than his/her social status!
Unknown to his family, Maan is a “Black Cat” i.e. Commando on Special duty and at rank of a “Colonel”. He goes around under the code name of “Narsimha” (Half man and half beast!). Maan loves rifle and pistol shooting as a hobby, maybe it was because of his royal blood! He had also been taught ‘talwaar baazi’ (sword fighting) according to his Rajsinghania Rajparivar (royal Rajsinghania family) parampara (family’s tradition). It was one day that Major General Virendra Shekhawat from Indian army (FICTITIOUS NAME & DESIGNATION) saw Maan shooting at the shooting club. Major General Shekhawat was extremely impressed with his shooting skills and wanted to train Maan as ‘Black Cat Commando’. Although Maan was hesitant that he will not be able to do justice to the prestigious job of Commandos due to his royal duties as well as Khurana Constructions. But Major General Shekhawat convinced Maan that it will be only on some special cases not on regular combat basis that the Army will need his help. During training Maan’s concentration, diligence and integrity also made Major General Shekhawat positive that Maan was the right man for the job. But no one in Maan’s family, including Rudra is aware of Maan being a Black Cat Commando.
Maan has no love life despite the girls are willing to become his slave seeing his looks, wealth and royal title. However, Maan had seen a young girl (10-15yrs. younger than him) five years back in one of the charity shows dancing and was smitten by her and wanted to marry her but didn’t know anything about her i.e. name, social status or family background. Besides it would have been against his royal family’s “maryaada” (protocol, rules, regulations, values and etiquette) if he would have broached his marriage topic in front of his grandmother, uncle and father. RAJKUMAR ARJUN RAO (KHURANA) RAJSINGHANIA
32 yrs. old. He is one and only son of Rajkumar Yudhjeet. He has done Hotel Management as well as MBA. He is extremely shy, sensitive and very artistic youngman. He hero worships his “Maan bhai”. His passion is music and painting which is always a cause of anger for his father. In order to save Arjun from constant humiliation by his father, Maan is training Arjun under him so Arjun can soon take over Khurana Hotels and Savitri Devi can announce him as MD of Khurana Hotels. For Arjun, Maan’s order is like the order from the Almighty. He may ignore his father, Rajkumar Yudhjeet’s orders but never Maan (much to the anger and annoyance of Rajkumar Yudhjeet). Arjun is also not very close to his father as he hates his father’s plans which only aim at harming his Maan bhai’s happiness, feelings, or physical safety. Arjun hates Rajkumar Yudhjeet’s constant cribbing about not getting the throne of Ramgarh, hence he only visits his father, Rajkumar Yudhjeet when Maan sternly orders it!
RAJKUMAR (MAJOR) RUDRA PRATAP (KHURANA) RAJSINGHANIA (Rudra)
30yrs. old. He is second son of Maharaj Satyajeet and Maharani Sumitra. He is an Army officer and is known as Major Rudra Pratap Khurana, which is only known to Maan. Maharaj Satyajeet wants him to get involved in Khurana Industries but he is not interested. Maharaj feels Rudra is whiling away his time in body building, camping and trekking. Rudra is inseperable from Maan when he is at home. He is a black belt in Karate and a fitness freek like Maan. His sun rises with Maan as well as his sun sets with Maan. It is an understood norm in his family that where Maan will go, Rudra will follow (when Rudra is at home)! He has well toned body with 8 pack abs. His name personifies his persona. He is powerful, strong with a violent temper ready to erupt in a split second. He is wary of girls but girls fall for him like ninepins. However, due to his temper and attitude girls are forced to maintain a distance from him. There have been only two times when he has ever respected as well as been impressed by two girls. One was when he had gone along with his Maan bhai to a charity function and met an extremely graceful young lady. The young lady was very polite, well mannered, calm, composed and poised perfect for his obedient, traditional and calm Maan bhai. 23yr. Old. He is the youngest son of Maharaj Satyajeet and Maharani Sumitra. He is happy go lucky person. He is a qualified Accountant but refuses to take his education and career seriously! He hero worships and is inseperable from his “Arjun bhai”. But he is emotionally closest to Maan as being the youngest Maan pampers him a lot and he takes full advantage of that. He is an extremely charming young man and does possess a temper but which is seldom revealed.
GURUDEV GIRIJA SHANKAR PANDEY (FICTITIOUS NAME).
63yr. Old. Rajpurohit of Ramgarh. He has been the royal priest (Rajpurohit) of Rajsinghania Royal family since the time of current King’s father, Maharaj Amarjeet. Although an old brahamin but he believes in translating traditional knowledge in modern context. He had long back predicted to Rajmata that Rajkumar Yudhjeet will be the cause of Ramgarh Royal (Rajsinghania) family’s ruin as well as being cursed by a woman who is reflection of Goddess Mahalakshmi.
KINGDOM OF KSHITIJA (FICTITIOUS PLACE)
MAHARAJ GAJENDRA RANAWAT
56yr. old. King of kingdom of Kshitija. He is an extremely knowledgable man and in keeping with the time. He does not believe in the royalty titles and etiquette but is forced to obey them for the sake of pampara (traditions) of Kshitija’s royal family and kingdom. He feels that one’s status is on the basis of his deeds (karma). He has brought up his daughters as sons. He is closest to Princess Rajlakshmi among all his daughters, due to her maturity beyond her age, her extreme intelligence and her worldly wise nature. Maharaj Gajendra often takes Princess Rajlakshmi’s advice in his royal as well as business discussions, hence she is always present at all new projects pilot meetings. However as she goes around the name of “Geet Handa” so that no one is aware that she is Princess Rajlakshmi and what relationship does she have with Gajendra Ranawat as well as Ranawat family. Although he is an extremely modern King but he was unable to go against Kshitija Kingdom’s ministers and royal protocol when they said that Princess Rajlakshmi (Raj)’s marriage should be done as a ‘Swayamvar’. 49yr. old Queen of kingdom of Kshitija. She is an intelligent, attractive, graceful and elegant woman. Although she is educated but she still believes in old school of thought that no matter how much the world changes, the creator/nature or the Almighty has created man and woman different for a reason. Hence, she has taught all her daughters’ skills required by any girl in order to became a good wife, daughter-in-law and mother later in their lives i.e. cooking, stitching, decorating home etc. against Maharaj Gajendra’s wishes. She is an excellent cook and her this skill has been passed over to Princess Rajlakshmi as well. Whereas Princess Kumudini is excellent in home decoration, Princess Parvati is excellent in stitching and Princess Priyamvada is good in general looking after the house as she is still young!
RAJKUMARI RAJLAKSHMI GEETESHWARI RANAWAT (Raj / Geet)
23 plus year old. Eldest daughter of Maharaj Gajendra and Maharani Bhagyashree. Rajlakshmi is an apple of her fathers' eyes! She is living in disguise of “Geet Handa” in Jaipur to protect her original identity. Besides, Rajlakshmi (Raj) also doesn’t want anyone in Ranawat Constructions and Interiors to know her relationship with Gajendra Ranawat. Rajlakshmi is a qualified Architect working in Ranawat Constructions and Interiors. Rajlakshmi is an excellent warrior as well and excels in sword fight (afterall she is a princess). She is intelligent, extremely wise, innocent, quite and reserved person. Her spiritual divine beauty can attract even most unromantic and heinous of men. Raj has maturity beyond her age, which shows in her intelligence and worldly wise nature i.e. when she advices Maharaj Gajendra and Maharani Bhagyashree by analysing each and every situation objectively without letting her emotions cloud her judgment! Hence Maharaj Gajendra Ranawat often takes her advice in his royal capacity as well as business discussions. Due to her practical and wise nature she often protects her three younger sisters and guides them. RAJKUMARI KUMUDINI RANAWAT (Kumud)
23yr. Old. Only daughter of Maharaj Gajendra’s elder brother, Maharaj Veerdwaj and Maharani Chitralekha. She is trained as Assistant Manager in Food and Beverage Department. Kumud is a simple, reserved (after her parents untimely death) and quite girl, but she is extremely impatient and short-tempered. She is a slender built and beautiful girl. Due to her reserved nature she often comes across as a snob. She loves painting in her free time.
RAJKUMARI PARVATI RANAWAT (Paro)
22yr. Old. Second daughter of Maharaj Gajendra and Maharani Bhagyashree. She has just completed her degree in Fashion Designing and is currently looking for a job. She loves to stitch and do emberiordery. Paro also believes in giving to society what she has hence she often goes to illiterate villages during her college vacations and tries to educate them. It was in one of these vacations that she met a handsome young Major in Bhartiye Suraksha Dal (BSD). Paro is closest to her eldest sister, Rajlakshmi and vice versa but she was unable to tell Geet about her liking for a young Major. Paro is the only one in Ranawat family who is aware of Raj’s attraction for a handsome youngman in his mid 30s. Rajlakshmi and Parvati met the handsome youngman and his equally handsome brother at the Charity Show few months. 18 yr. Old. Youngest daughter of Maharaj Gajendra and Maharani Bhagyashree. She is treated like a doll of Rajsinghania family. She is rarely given any duty or responsibility to shoulder hence she is very carefree and full of life. Due to her innocence and impulsiveness she often speaks without thinking.
DIWAN VIDYASAGAR BHARDWAJ
60year old. Prime Minister of Kingdom of Kshitija. Maharaj Gajendra trusts him more than anyone else in the kingdom. Besides Rajkumari (Princess) Rajlakshmi, he is the only person whose advice Maharaj Gajendra listens to and often follows.
MUNIM SHAMBHU NATH GUPTA
55yr. old treasurer cum accountant of Kshitija who accompanied a disguised Rajkumari (Princess) Rajlakshmi to Ramgarh. He always spoils and protects Rajkumari Rajlakshmi. He tries to give Princesses small joys which they kften mis due to their royal stature. Rajkumari Rajlakshmi treats Munimji more like a father rather than an employee and calls him “Bauji”.
BRIJENDRA TEJAWAT
A man in his early forties. He is a traitor of his home country and smuggles war guns and ammunitions from enemies and supplies it to terrorist organisations. He has a youngish and royal look which makes him a “ladies” man. He is very close friend cum business partner of Rajkumar Yudhjeet. Brijendra provides finances for their nefarious activities and joint business between Rajkumar Yudhjeet and Brijendra called Satyam Finances. Whereas Rajkumar Yudhjeet provides glitz and glamour due to his royal title during media conferences and social events. Rajkumar Yudhjeet and Brijendra Tejawat also have a disgusting business hidden from the world.
