Geet was sitting in her room, studying, when suddenly she felt herself being pulled up harshly. She couldn't even understand, what was happening & why was her mother looking so much angary.

Geet looked at her mother confused, before she could even ask her what was the matter....

"Zataack........"

A loud sound echoed in the room & in her ears too, as her mother placed a real tight slap on her cheek!

She felt numb. Her eyes started to fill up and lips trembling. She couldn't even speak.... Somewhere, Geet has the feeling that the thing, she was dreading till now has come true!

She couldn't even dare to question her mother about the reason for receiving this slap.

Her mother cleared her confusion and answered her unasked question soon.

" Toh ye sab karne lagi hai tu aajkal..? Hann..??? Tujhe kya laga ke hume pata nhi chalega...?? "

Geet stood there trembling within, her gaze dipped down in shame.

"Kahan se seekha ye sab..?? Mujhe laga meri beti bahut achhi seedhi - saadhi hai, per nahi!!! Tu toh bahut aage nikal gai hai... Ladkon ko blank calls dene lagi hai.... Han??? "

Her mother was seething with anger & frustation.

While Geet couldn't dare utter a word. She didn't know how to handle this situation, she had never ever done anything of this sort. She has always been a decent kid of her parents, never wanted to disappoint them in any way.

She was lamenting badly now. Why did she do it yaar! Why did she find that chit!!

" Naa wo paper chit dekhti... Naa wo number milta... Aur naa wo tempt hoti....!!"

Lost in her regretting thoughts, she was still trying to find words to say something...may be apologize...

when her mother spoke breaking her trance....

"Aane do tumhara papa ko.... Unko bhi toh pata chale kya harakatein kar rahi ho tum... Ab toh wahi deal karenge tumse...!!! Jab school jana bannd karwa denge na... Tab pata chalega..!!"

"Nahiii.....mumma...plzzz....." Geet cried pleading for sorry and tried to stop her mother but she pushed her away and left to inform Geet's father.

Geet kept crying helplessly, dreading her impending doom.

Geet opened her eyes with a start, sweating furiously. Breaths heavy, she looked around in confusion first. It took her a moment to realise that it was a dream...

" It didn't happen.... It was a dream..!! "

She tried to console her self. But that felt so real. Her tears has actually rolled down.. While she cried in that dream.

Past these days, she had been so scared of being caught and someone complaining to her parents. And result of this constant fear was this dream... No.... Nightmare she had today.

She kept thanking her babaji that it was just a dream, and her parents didn't know anything about her deeds.

And with that she decided that she won't repeat this mistake again. She would never call him again.

A few days later....

In the classroom...

Its been really hard for her, without those blank calls, where she felt being close to him. She really missed hearing his voice so close to her ears.

There was a void in her life, it gave the feeling like something important was missing from her life. Though she could see him daily in school, still She missed him badly. Missed those calls badly.

Geet looked on sadly, as they both talked with smiles on their faces. She felt whole lot of emotions seeing them together like that...

While she never got even a proper glance from him. Why can't he notice her too? Why can't he look at her, the way he was looking at her?

"Because you are not beautiful like her. You are not smart like her. You are not popular like her. And most importantly you are not pari...you are geet,whom he finds irritating and hates too probably!" Her heart reminded her. That's what she has understood from his behaviour with her till now.

Her eyes got misty, she blinked a couple of time to clear her vision. Not being able to see them together anymore, geet turned to opposite direction..removing them...removing him from her vision.

she put her head on the desk..and closed her eyes, pretending to be sleepy...but actually she needed sometime to gather self.

She knew she can't be closer to him and he would never look at her the way she wanted him to.

Oh god I am feeling for geet so much..

She has so much fear of her parents and that was true but seeing her distancing from Maan is just so heartbreaking..
