Prologue
A girl was sitting in her room, trying to do her assignment..but wasnt able to concentrate as her mind was preoccupied with something else. She was tried hard to control her uncontrolled thoughts and focus on the book in her hand.. But nothing was working.
She was busy fighting with herself when her mom called from the hallway.. "geet...am going to nisha's house..will be back in half an hour..u lock the door..ok..!" ..her mom shouted before leaving.
"ok..!" geet replied shouting back. As she heard the door being closed..geet suddenly realised that she was left alone in the house..as her mom just went out and her younger brother was already out playing cricket with his friends.
This realisation of being alone in the house did nothing..but provoked her mind furthur..and it again started to bring back the thoughts which she was trying her best to avoid!

After locking the door, geet went back to her room to complete her assignment...but soon she accepted her defeat.. and now..she sat in the main hall...staring at the land line phone...thinking something deeply.
She looked at the phone unsurely...not able to decide, if she should or she shouldnt?? Her heart was beating so fast with a strange kind of nervousness as well as excitement. She tried to reason with her heart and mind...to which they fought back pointing.. That this is the golden opportunity she has got and no one will know about it!
Sighning she looked at her left palm where a 7 digit number was written..which by now she remembere by heart!
She had got the number two days back...but wasnt able to gether the courage to dail it actually. Now also her heart was beating furiously just with the thought of doing so. But the urge to hear that particular voice was too much to resist.
She still tried to argue..
"what if its someone else number?" ..she pointed.
"u can always say sorry..wrong number..!" heart replied.
"it isnt necessary that HE will pick up the phone..what if someone else did?" she asked .
"so? No harm in trying..atleast once..!" mind argued.
And after much fight..she finally dialed the number with shaky hands. Her hands went cold with nervousness and unsurity as she heard the first ring. She closed her eyes, holding her breath to control her crazy heart as she waited for the phone to be answered.
After three long rings..the phone was answered..
"Hello..?" the person on the other side greeted.
Her eyes shot opened as she heard the familiar voice and recognised it instantly.
Ohh..its Him..its Him...her heart shouted in joy, beating ever so crazily. She was lost in the pool of emotions...nervousness, excitment, uncertainty and a little fear.. Her tarnce was broken when that person spoke again...
"Hello...hello..?"
and at the same time the door bell rang..scaring the hell out of her. In the fear of being caught..she immediatly cut the call and ran to open the door.
