Mother and daughter are been abused by a father and husband , and it almost seems like
the husband comes home without even greeting his wife as if he is ready to take out his day's frustrations on her
this clearly shows the husband does not respect his wife neither has time for her and when it comes to his daughter he was suppose to love and pamper her but instead she is so frighten that she cannot answer his questions
when she writes in her diary its utterly painful and its all because of her father , while he considers his wife and daughter as burdens to him
