<font face="Comic Sans MS, Times, serif">Then one of my friend started ditching the 12 to 1 class so that she could travel back home and watch Geet which used to be repeat telecasted by 2. Believe me she is a nerd!! So that got my attention and then finally one day my dupatta got caught on my friend's watch and everyone went "Mahiii..." (well sadly it was a female friend😆)</font>

<font face="Comic Sans MS, Times, serif">And then I had to watch this show. So I did and saw that episode and here I am.</font>

<font face="Comic Sans MS, Times, serif">2) Maan Singh KhuranaDo I need to say anything more? GC did an awesome job that no other tough guy can replace that image. One thing I like most about Maan's character is his honesty. He is straight forward and is ready to admit his mistakes and above all he is he😛😆</font>

<font face="Comic Sans MS, Times, serif">3)Geet : Initially I watched this show for Maan only to be honest. But then Geet was a fighter. I realised that she is different from other sacrificing serial heroines. Instead of going away from Maan when he left her knowing she is pregnant she relentlessly followed Maan and made him realise the truth and then walked away. From that point I loved her.</font>

<font face="Comic Sans MS, Times, serif">4) From my personal perspective, Geet and Maan, a love like that is a dream for any girl. That is not real life though😛But I guess I relate to Geet where she is strong headed and is not afraid to call a spade a spade. I am like that and I get into trouble for that. I mess up, I am clumpsy and a happy go lucky person. Most people relate to these things I think. Thats why Geet is loved by all. Maan has a temper and so do I😆I like his no non-sense attitude. Personally I am more closer to Geet than Maan but the way he compliments Geet in both positive and negative ways is lovely.</font>

<font face="Comic Sans MS, Times, serif">5) and 7)The reason I think I love Maan and Geet is because they are the originals. (ok may be Kritika and Arjun's serial was the first but still). Maan and Geet are the first yin and yang couple with such strong personalities. That is why I love them so much. At that time when every other channel was busy with family dramas this was the one focusing on young people and their problems, their relationship. The saas here was never evil. No big jewellery wearing family. It portrayed the urban Upper class in a stylish version. GHSP was a trend setter. Then came the other show in star one based on college theme.. Dil Mil gaye too had that but it was totally youth focused. Here they had an awesome mix. The rest that came after it esp the Yin and Yang-types were a replica. That is why no other lead's dupatta falling and falling into hero's arms with a romantic bgm did the same thing to me as Mahiii or Qurbaan hua or Aja mere mahi...</font>

<font face="Comic Sans MS, Times, serif">6) They are good actors. I would love to see them together on-screen again in some other good show.</font>
