The dinner was silent , khushi was looking quite disturbed and geet was appearing like nothing happened , maan cleared his throat and said the most obvious thing..
Khushi you are going to stay with me from tomorrow , after your school the driver will drop you in KC and aarav he said looking at his son, aarav was eating silently he didn't know what had happened that mom that slapped khushi , she was elder than him but silent sometimes aarav is forced to think if khushi is normal.
Yes , dad , aarav responded he couldn't ignore that moment , maan was appearing angry.
I don't want you to talk unnecessary to khushi is that clear..
But dad , khushi.. Aarav tried to speak
Di, call her di , she is elder and I don't want you to call her by her name. Learn to Have some respect even when your teacher is so blind to see the mistakes.
Geet was listening to the talks , for once maan was glad that he chose to live away from his family , this women who was sitting in front of him doesn't deserve the family. Though khushi didn't opened her mouth about what had transpired but aarav did , he filled in the details for what geet did to khushi , punishing your children for their betterment is one thing but abusing those rights is another and geet was doing the same. Everyday there is something , sometimes she yell at her for not behaving properly when khushi was a well behaved child, sometimes ignoring her needs for aarav.
Maan's words didn't had any effects on geet as usual , he was in the study and his daughter was sitting beside him , this was the daily routine for them she would silently do her school her and he would see his work. Even after having a family , maan never had the privilege to have a peaceful family time but he had accepted the fate and was now only looking forward for a bright future for his kids specially his daughter.
Maan closed the file and laptop and looked at khushi highly engrossed in her work , she was dedicated and he felt proud of her.
Khushi you need to stop now baby , its getting late and you have school tomorrow. Khushi looked up and saw her father's concerned face , she closed her books and stood up , maan escorted her to her room , made sure that she was comfortable , that was his daily routine , he himself made sure that she slept. He walked to the adjoining room and saw his room doing his homework.
Aarav you should sleep now , it's getting late son , maan said as he collected the mess that was on the bed and helped aarav before leaving him, he know that even if he will forget aarav's room , geet will come to check on him but she never come to check her daughter. He never understood what she was holding against khushi.

Inside the bedroom , geet was engrossed in the book , she had left her dreams and career to marry and now she was a home maker , she makes sure that she would pay attention to every little detail of her family's needs and in her attempt she always forgets a person , her own daughter.
How was day maan ? Geet asked him casually like she always does , her casual attitude irked him. She was not calm but she appears .
My day doesn't have anything to do geet , why do you keep showing your indifference to khushi , why don't you understand that she is getting the odd ends of your attitude , do you know what she asked me today ?
He asked with an irritated tone , geet was destroying the peace in their family and she was already making it difficult for him to mend the broken things
So she did filled your ears with the details , such a manipulate she is , and why not she is the daughter of a cheater , a person who did not cared of anyone's emotion .geet said in a venomous tone.
She is my daughter and she will always remain you do not have any rights on her from the day she was born , which mother leaves her newborn to strangers , who will deny her own child geet.
I did do you know why ?/ because she smells betrayal to me , I hate her very presence maan khurana. She spit her words and left the room.
