"Coming ..coming.."he opened the door and was surprised to see her at his place..

"Kyu main apne ghar nahi aa sakti ? I can't come to my home ?"

"No its not that ..pls come..what will you have ? tea..coffee..colddrink ..or just water .."

He smiled and said

"Oh! So formal haan Maanu.."

"Maanu ? mera naya naam ..wow.."

"Yes aaj se main tumhe Maanu kahungi ..par akaele main..sabke saamne toh Maan hi kahungi.."

She blushed ..

"I like my new name and I am not being so formal ..after all you came here ..so I have to ask my would be ..what she will like to have! Hai na !khaatir kara lo thori ..after marriage I am gonna irritate you with my demands.."he said naughilty..

"Aww I love you more when you are like this ..so frank..so cheerful..so happy..aise hi raha karo..and I will not give you chance to put demands ok..Mr.Maan Singh Khurana will have to listen to me only..i will be the queen here .."she crossed her hands and raised her eyebrows..

"Accha Ms.Geet Handa ..toh ye baat hai ..ok your wish my command..your Maan will do what you want..now tell me what I have to do now queen?"he back hugged her and said ..

She turned around and cupped his face and said "Maan you are so sweet ..i was kidding ..and you can't irritate me coz you are not demanding ..you give only..plenty of love..care.."

He said"Geet if you are in front of me ..i don't want anything else..pls don't leave me in any condition ..no matter what !"

"Maanu what are you saying? Why should I leave you ?leave this kind of talks and listen to me ..i came here to show you something ..and its related to our relationship ..our bond will get more stronger when we will be engaged ..and than we will come more close..see these ..our engagements outfits.."

"Geet ..yes our relationship will get stronger only "in his heart he was thinking that he also like his side when he don't think about that and feel guilty but some or the other time that guilt keep bugging him..

She show him the dresses and he loved them too..

She asked him what he was doing and he told her that he was thinking of the design of their room in new house which his dad purchased recently..

"Wow Maan ..you designed it so b'fully ..this is our room ..where we will spend time together .."

Seeing the blueprints of room and saying this ..she was blushing ..Maan lifted her face up and said

"Geet ..yes this is our room ..and if you want any changes..i can do that infact I was about to ask you .."

"No Maan ..it will be like you have planned..i am dreaming now only about new house .."

"Hmm but pahle engagement toh hone do..you will be not allowed to enter in new house till than.."

"You teasing me ? fine ..i will take permission from uncle -aunty and will go there ..who is asking your permission?"

"OMG! You will change the party if I am not allowing you..hmm Maan you have to beware of Geet from now on.."

"So ..how can you stop me from going there?"

"Coz I love to see your this face..so irritated ..angry and annoyed..you look more b'ful than.."he came close to her ..

"Ok ok I will take you there..just some work left so.."

"OK than ..but dare you .."

"Nope Ms.Geet I won't dare to stop you again..and both smiled ..she hugged him and said

"Maan I am waiting for engagement ..Dad has fixed the date and will talk to you about it today..

And so its celebration time ..chalo Dad se ghar par mil lena .."

"Geet now mom dad not at home so how can I go ?"

"Arre chalo na Maanu..Pinky..Nishant sab hai my cousins and they wanna meet you too..dad bhi aa jayenge after comleting his work..i will call Uncle and Aunty if you say.."

"No not a prob ..i will call them ..you wait in car ..i am coming.."

"Yayy you coming..too good.."

Both were in car.."Maan before going home I want to go to restaurant .."

"What? Ab kyu ? we are going home right !!"

"Ya but I want to eat something ..that too with you .."

"Geet ..you are unbelievable ..kabhi kuch kahti ho ..kabhi kuch.."

"So ..i love to be pampered ..come on ..and you said na ..not to take stress so I am just relaxing..and wanna enjoy ..chalo na ..let's go ..and she asked driver to turn car and take it to the restaurant ..

"Geet ..you are impossible .."

"Yes I am Mr.Maan ..main aisi hi hoon.."she said with attitude..

"Accha Geet ..i got your old no.back after much efforts..now you happy ..this is your new phone with old no.now if anyone imp contact /person will call .. than can find you ..as your mobile was crashed in that accident and you were worried about those nos...contacts etc.just now I opened it."

"Aww Maan you are the best..muahh!! wow so b'ful mobile .." she gave a flying kiss to him but In a way that driver couldn't see ..

They reached restaurant..had lunch and reached home than.

There her cousins were happy to meet Maan and they were in Geet's room when Geet's mobile rang.[which Maan gave]

Maan picked up the mobile..a voice came "Geet ..Geet tum kaisi ho ?how are you Geet?"

Maan thought who he can be? Male voice but not familiar? He knows almost all her friends..

But he waited before answering

"Geet ..you forgot me ? I am Kartik ..kartik from Manali! Remember my love.."

"What! His love !Geet! what!!l!"he thought ..now how could not bear any more..

"Who's speaking ?who Kartik?wrong no."and he cut the call but again it was ringing and when he didn't picked up than also it kept ringing and he has to answer it ..the voice again came..

"Hello aap kaun? I want to talk to Geet ..from days I am trying her no.but now only got it ..pls let me talk to Geet ..pls..its urgent .."

"What are you saying? "he thought may be Geet knows him but he said his love ?he has to ask Geet ..but Oh!no! she lost her memory so how can she remember ?he than talked to the person himself first without telling Geet ..she was in her room with her cousins..

And he talked to him and he told about him- that he was Kartik ..he was from Manali and he loved Geet and Geet also loved him ..he was trying hard but her phone not reachable ..he didn't told further more and said ..he wants to meet Geet .."

"Uff who's this guy now? why he is insisting so much ?Geet is not able to answer this..now what he should do?" he cut the call again..and Maan was shocked to hear this and he was not able to understand what's happening?should he tell Geet about it or not? why this happening with him?he was lost in thoughts when Geet came and asked for the reason why he is looking upset?

before he could say anything mobile rang again..this time Geet picked up the call and Maan was like now what?

and when she answered the call ..voice from the other side came.."Geet thanks God you came on line ..i was dying to meet you ..where were you ? all these days ..i have been waiting for your call my love ..."he was saying more and Geet not able to understand a bit ..she cut the call and said to herself "Who's that? " again phone rang and she didn't wanted to picked up but she picked up after 5 repeated calls "Who's speaking?"she said lil annoyed.

"Geet how can you forget me ?your Kartik ?"

"What! who Kartik ..i don't know any Kartik..i don't remember anything .."

"Geet pls meet me pls ..you will remember me ..aise kaise tum saare promises bhool sakti ho"

Maan saw Geet feeling uncomfortable and took phone in his hand and said "Look Mr. who ever you are ..why disturbing Geet?and from where did you get this no btw?" he said lil loudly

"Hey i am Kartik ..told you na ..can't you hear ?who are you to say this? Geet's no. is saved in my mobile damn it ..so i called her ..i want to talk to her .."

"But she don't want to ..so don't disturb ..bahut dekhe hai tumhare jaise fraud callers.."

"It seems i have to come home ..than only you will understand ..ok i will do that.."

"What ever ..but don't disturb us again.."

he cut the call and switched off the phone..

Geet was looking at mobile even after Maan threw it at bed..

he embraced in her arms and said "Geet ..don't stress yourself pls..kisi ko no.mila hoga ..don't worry .."

"Maan ..what was that ? you got the no.for me but only this person called and that too like several times .."

"Geet ..let's wait na ..kuch nahi hain...don't you heard about this kinds of calls ?"he was saying but some where he was also feeling disturbed..why anybody would say like this ?but he has to take care of Geet more..she must not take any stress coz of this ..

he said ...he is taking the phone with him ..as he might not disturb her again..

"Maan where are you going ?pls be here na.."

Maan hold her hand and said "Geet i can't stay here at night ..you know na .. Uncle aate hi honge na ..you will be fine ..Aunty is out of town but your cousins are here..i will keep calling you ...you are my strong Geet ..i got the no. again for your help so that if any imp person calling you ..searching you ..than he/she will find you ..you also wanted this na .."

"Yes Maan ..but i didn't knew ..aise koi call karega ..aur kyu?"

"Accha tum ab mat socho ..relax ..i am here na..and you need rest so just take rest."

"Maan.."

he hugged her sideways and make her lay down on bed..

and instruscted her cousins to take care of her as he is leaving now..he will call uncle afterwords..and Geet need rest ..she is tired..

and he left from there but his mind was filled with lots of thoughts ..

"Who he can be and what if he will come to her place ?he is not there with her 24*7 ..and how can he tell uncle now..he will be tensed ..may be he will not call again..but he has to be careful..

even after coming home he was cont. kept calling Geet till night and assured her that she can call anytime ..if she needs him..he is there for her..and she can tell uncle if he comes again ..

Next morning

Maan left for Geet's house ..and in car he opened the phone once again and saw only that no.Kartik's no. in missed calls ..that too more than 25 times ..he again got disturbed .. there must be a story behind this and he won't let Geet affected ..he will find out first..but when he reached near Geet's home ..once again mobile rang and he accidently picked it up instead of cutting call ..

"How many times you will avoid me ? Geet kyu nahi baat kar rahi ho? we promised each other to be together and you are behaving like stranger now ?"

in frustation Maan said" Stop disturbing Geet ..you ..she has lost her memory so how can she tell whether you are genuine or not ..damn it!!"

"Oh! my Geet lost her memory ..oh no! that's why she is not remembering me ..o/w she would have run away to meet me ..his Kartik.."

"Hey you ..dare you call Geet as MY GEET ..she even don't remember you ..ok ..and how can we trust you ?"

"By meeting me ..o/w how can i make you believe what i am saying is true?"

"But Geet is going to be my wife .."

"So you will not give her fair chance to know that her lover ..her first love is back and wants to marry her .."

"You are saying anything !!what rubbish is this ?"

"No i am saying truth..meet me and find out ..or you are a cheater who will.."hearing the word cheater Maan couldn't hear any more and said

"Okkk fine ..will tell you later."

But when he reached Geet's home ..he saw a guy talking to watchman ..he came out of the car and went near him ..he was asking to meet Geet and watchman saying ..he can't allow to enter without prior permission and esp to a stranger..not at all.

Maan took him to the corner and said "Kartik?"

"How you know my name ? oh! You to whom I talked on phone..where is Geet..i want to meet her.."

"Look Mr.who ever you are..this is not the way to come and meet a girl esp when she don't know you .."

"I came to meet my Geet ..what's your prob?let me meet her ..and tell her.."

"But she has lost her memory ..don't you get it and you are a stranger to her ..how can she or me believe you ?"

He was becoming furious ..how dare he come to meet without permission ?

"So what is she lost her memory? I have my memory intact and I love her so how can I forget her ?"

While they were talking Geet came outside as watchman told her that Maan is talking with someone so she came to see..

"What's happening? Who is he Maan?"

"Geet!! Geet tum kyu aayi bahaar?" she understood that he might be that Kartik.

"Geet !! meri Geet ..tum tum theek ho na? how are you?OMG! I really found you ..my love.."

"Stop taking Geet's name from your mouth..and what is this my love ..my love..how come you suddenly came in our life?"

"I am not saying anything ..it does not mean that I am weak .." he tried to hugged her but Maan hold Geet's hand and turn her to his side..

"Geet ..you go inside .."

"Maan .."

Maan took her lil far from there and Kartik followed them too..

"Geet ..i will tell you the whole story .."he said when Maan was trying to say something to Geet.

"You know na you went to Manali ..sometime ago ..for a photography contest ..you love photography na ..so much ..and we met there..aah! wish you could remember how we fell in love and how you said that after coming back you will tell it to your parents and I said ..I will come to your place too and we will marry too..but its my bad that i could not able to contact you even ...when you left Manali .. I went for a tracking trip ..there due to bad weather and unfavorable circumstances ..we lost out way and it took much time to came out ..and since than I am trying your mobile but it was not responding ..i didn't knew your full address but I knew lil bit ..so I came in town ..and i kept calling you too ..i thought ..you will pick up call and we will meet than and I will know address too..but it didn't happened ..but by chance yest it responded and I heard your voice ..you can't imagine how awesome feeling it was to hear you ..but you were not believing ..i knew your father's name too so i did search more and I am here now..and its so sad that you lost your memory ..how can I make you believe than.."

he was saying in such a manner that anyone can believe ..Maan and Geet were listening to him quietly and not in state to say something ..but than Kartik show them many pics of Geet with him in group pics of that photography contest..through they were group pics but it meant that he knew Geet and not lying about that atleast..and one pic off them alone too..

Suddenly Geet started having headache and she was feeling uncomfortable ..Maan hold her and told Kartik to stop disturbing her ..she is not in state of thinking and stress can be harmful for her ..so pls just leave and give them sometime ..

"How can I leave Geet like this ? Geet why it happened with us?"

He was looking genuine that time and Maan thought to talk to him alone ..he asked guard to go with Geet and tell Lila [servant] to take care of her ..he will come later on and don't tell bade sahib [Geet's father]about that as of. now..its nothing imp ..he know this man..so don't worry..he said coz Uncle was in home and this man will create scene here if not stopped right now ..they have a reputation and he don't let anyone spoil it.

And than he asked him to sit in his car ..he got to know that he has no family and he is a adventure loving person and he really loved Geet so much and he won't go till Geet memory came back ..Maan said ..he is not trusting him fully and he have to wait for sometime ..Geet is not so well mentely and he don't want something bad happen to her coz of this so whether he like or not ..he have to wait and he can't meet Geet ..he will try to help him if he is saying truth.

He went but said ..he will come back and Geet surely remember all soon coz he is here..

Maan was so tensed now ..first he was dealing with his guilt and now this too ..what if he is saying truth?he can't come in between two lovers and if Geet loved him too even before he came in her life as her fiance?

But to find out truth he needs sometime ..and Geet also need more care..he assured Kartik so as to make him leave from there..and there must be more to this story ..not only what he is saying..he thought.

He went in Geet's room and seeing him she hugged him and starting crying ..Maan hold her tightly and said "Geet pls don't worry..we will do something.."

"Maan what he was saying ?its so confusing .. I don't remember him and I love you now .."

"Geet but what if he is saying truth ..i mean do you think its easy for me ? he is saying you "MYGEET ..MY LOVE" you know what I am feeling now? and I am too confused like you and not liking him disturbing you and calling you like this .. but still I am thinking of all ways..what must be behind this ?and see

you wanted to tell me something before that accident but I don't know ?may be you wanted to tell me about him?"

"Maan yes its difficult situation for both of us ..i know ..but what I can do ?kaash main bata sakti k ye kaun hai?I am dependent on you all for my memories ..and when I don't know him now ..how can I even talk to him?he is talking so sweetly but I don't remember anything.."

"Don't worry ..every prob has a solution..trust me ..this is complicated but..ok you pls don't cry..he is fraud or genuine ..i will find out ..I am more worried for this what if he is fraud and has more of your pics or any other thing and he might use it against you ?if he won't get what he want ? and if he is saying truth ..he will understand your situation and act accordingly..but he is so confusing yes ..but anyways ..we will together sort this out.."

"Maan I hope we sort this out soon."

Geet buried her face in his chest and he embraced her in his arms..caressing her hair.

even he was feeling so bad for themselves ..Kartik have some proofs too ..Geet's pics ..that organizer s certificate and one pic was just of him and Geet ..and Geet during that period .. has not talked with him much ..they used to call each other not like everything he knows about her ..so may be he is saying truth ..but if is so ..what he will do? he and Geet ..what about them? And not sure if Uncle will be ready for this even if he is saying truth? How can it be practically possible ..aise kaise koi bhi aa jayega aur ..ye. .ye sab kahani hai ya sach? Par jo bhi hai bahut ajeeb hain..he was thinking drinking a cup of coffee when he again saw Kartik on gate ..he went there and asked what he is doing here?he replied ...he can't leave Geet and Maan should not try to come in between o/w it will be not good..

Maan understood matter is not so simple ..he was looking furious so Maan said him to calm down and he will call Geet..

He went to take Geet .. and make her understand that this guy is not what he looks ..at first he was believing him lil bit but now he himself is making him doubt Kartik..but something must have happened in Manali ..and without finding out that ..they can't do anything ..so they have to take every step carefully ..Geet said ..even if she loved him once ..she is not liking the guy don't know why ? and she is thinking how can she love a person like him? and he inspite of being caring wants to disturb her again and again..Don't know what happened in Manali ? but she has an idea ..

She said she would just go and tell him that she will meet him after few days ..when her treatment got over ..than may be Maan will find out about him more..

"Sure Geet ..this is great..just do this pls.and don't feel so helpless ...we will see him and no one can harm. you when I am here."and Geet did the same and talked so politely with him..and assured Kartik that she is trying to remember and if he will help her ..only than she will be able to recognize her and old memories ..she trust him but he have to wait ..strangely he believed her and said he will come back after two days..but he will keep calling them so they better not close the no.He left saying Geet is his and he loves her like madly..He can go to any extent for her. .and Maan should understand their love .."

After he left ..Geet hugged Maan and said..

"Maan you trust me na ? whatever happened in Manali .I don't know."

"Geet in any condition I trust you ..may be you couldn't told me..even if you wanted to ..but it won't affect our relationship and love ...let's first find out now what's truth and who is he exactly?why he is saying all this so confidently?"

"Maan I only know that if he would love me ..he would defo wait for me to be allright ..or at least keep patience..Maan i am with you ..let's do one thing.
