Maan opened his eyes slowly...His vision was still blurry. He cud hear voices around him...He tried to identify d voices belonging to Adi n dev...
Adi...He fumed...U r gone!!!!!
N dev..Y r u even here...?? Since wen did u become so concerned for me...
After mentally bashing both adi n dev for a few minutes...His thought went back to geet...N he realized dat he refuses to believe a single word of d crap she spouted on him..
"Geet!!! N going back to her hubby...Coz he is d biological father...N she can't commit a crime by separating Dem...She loves maan.no doubt...But she loves her baby more...Maan can learn to live widout her...But how can she leave a child wid his biological father who cannot gain even an iota of trust from her. She needs to go to him...N takes a promise from maan dat he vl never try to find her...She also makes him promise in his sleep dat he vl always behave well in d family..N keep Dem together..."

Soon dadima came to see him wid tears in her eyes...After d initial exchange of pleasantries, she broached d topic of geet wid gr8 care...To express her disappointment...But Maan was already prepared...He simply stated dat he does not wish to talk bout geet...Dadima chose to keep quiet after this...Owing to his health...
After dadima left, maan had d final confrontation wid adi...Who was literally wobbling in his knees...Just to imagine d extent of Maan's pain n fury...He told maan how he blasted d doc who injected him wid a real sedative...So maan cud hear geet out...But cud not respond or move to stop her...
Den he told her bout Geet's excuse to pinky to go underground for few days...Maan smiled at dat..- "How much can u care for me geet...N den claim to move on in life wid dat excuse of a husband!!!"
While Adi mentioned bout Geet's pact wid pinky to stay in touch...N working bout various ways to
Contact geet...Maan was wondering bout real reason which made geet to leave him...He tried to imagine d pain n helpnessness she must have felt to take such a step...Her lies very clearly accounted for d different reasons she gave to maan Adi n pinky during her departure...He was plain disappointed by d turn of events..N never knew when sleep over took his senses...Wid a reassuring thought" one fine day...Maaneet will be together"
