Part 16 -
Being friends with own husband not awkward at all . It's as if they were back to old days when they were not married . May be more close as now she can understand Maan more . His sudden friendship did startled her but in her heart , she too wanted some peace between them . She loves him with all her heart . There is not any machine exist where she can easily delete her feelings . She knows she would never be able to forget Maan but may be when she will free him from this relation, atleast there will be some good memories with her . She can spend rest of her life just with those .
From childhood she learnt to compromise with every thing, it won't be difficult to compromise with her happiness again . She just want to be in safe side , not to open her heart and make him scare or regret their friendship .
" wow it's so beautiful " Geet looked awed at the surroundings before her .
It's not first time for Maan visiting Switzerland, so he not that thrilled like Geet. He is more interest to show her around . He just loved the look of her face when she saw something . The smile, the twinkling of her eyes all making him happy . He has to admit his decision to befriend with Geet is best .
Finally the restless, scary feelings are gone . He feeling his old self , which is such relief. ' well done Maan , being friend with own wife not bad ' .
He didn't hesitate to accept her or calling her as his wife . As if it's the most natural thing . ' May be Dadima is right , being married won't be so miserable ' .
Did he accept whole marriage ? No, He not sure but one thing he knows he now does like the idea of Geet's husband . After staying around four walls for days , now finally both enjoying their time here . This new found friendship is not less than bless to them .

At night she was engrossed in her novel when Maan sat beside her with gloomy face . He tired after answering all mails , now thought to spend some time with Geet , may be he could get to see her one smile and his tiredness would be gone .
He tried to start conversation but Geet didn't give much attention. ' wah now these so called novel getting more attention than me ' He made yuck face then noticed her smiling absent mind . He snatched the book and finally she back on herself .
" what , book dijiye mere " she frowned trying to reach it but he didn't give back .
" first tell me what you were thinking so hard that even didn't notice me ...you hus..friend " he corrected himself not want to make atmosphere bad .
" Maannn please don't be silly . Give me na " She winned making irritating face but he still stubborn to do as per her wish .
" no first tell me , you were even smiling " ' Allah maalom kiske baare mein day dreaming kar rahi thi ' last part he mumbled to himself , which left some bad taste in his mouth ' don't go there Maan ' He scolded himself mentally and looked at her with serious face . Finally she gave up and told him the secret of her smile .
" it's nothing . I just remembered my college days , crazy friends their talking and all "
" really " it's his time to frown ' what is wrong with her ? She is with her husband and busy thinking about her friends ! Am i that boring or she is . ' his thought break as she start narrating a funny incident .
" you know Maan, we were 6 girls group . All are different from each other . May be that's why we had so fun . One day one of my friend Suchi asked a question to us.. you know she was the most naughty one . Her question was like , what will you do if your boyfriend comeback after your marriage ? Will you go back to your love or will you stay with your husband ? "
she laughed remembering all serious faces " and there all answered they will stay with their hubby but Tana the most weird one of our group said she will go back to her boyfriend no matter how much her husband loves her . She waa so serious about it "
Geet was so busy with talking that , missed Maan's face which lost his colour hearing all . Boyfriend-lover- marriage three things too related with him . That unknown restless back with no time . He tried to mask his fear anger and asked her out of blue surprising not just Geet but himself too .
" did you love someone ? Do you ? "
He clueless how to place the question . Should he referred it as past , because its more logical to him . She is married now and it's haram to think about others person or let her be honest with her feelings .
Geet's smile dropped at his sudden question . She thought for sometime , it won't matter to him if she confess her hidden love , will it ? .
Without much thinking her heart give in to answer truthfully... " yes "
Here her simple confession broke his hope into pices . He gulped his saliva to compose his hurt . Even he is clueless why he is hurt ?. Did he ever expect love from her ? No then why this sudden pain . Moreover her answer , he not sure how to take it . Did she meant she was in love or she still loves someone? But he too scared to hear her full answer , so asked instead...
" so what was your answer? Husband or lover ? " he looked at her sharply not to miss any emotion on her face .
She looked at him ,confused seeing his sudden interest in her silly college days , but did answer which is in her heart ...
" i will choose my husband " its was just a smiple answer but those words sooth him perfectly . He finally took a big sigh of relief .
" good decision ...you were not so silly that time then "
he finally smiled making her heart skipped a bit and make her realise what she was doing .
' what am I doing ? How can I open my heart to him ? I will get nothing other than heart break , then why I'm taking chance , stop it Geet don't raise hope '
she scolded herself for saying those , first time she did admitted her feelings to someone other than herself . And it scaring her , the wall she made around her heart is breaking and she is scare of it . She can't let Maan know her feelings . No she doesn't want his pity . She would never let him feel sorry for her or her feelings . She promised herself not to carried away like this ever again
