Congrats for new story.

Hey guys, updating the next chapter of this SS. Hope you all will enjoy this.

Before the chapter, I would like to clear few things about the characters.

Maan, Khushi and Arnav are studying in the Excel college[ Coudnt think of any other name😲] from last two years and Geet joined them in third year in the college

I didn't post CS because in my stories, characters themselves reveals their role as the story progresses😉😆. So rest of the things will be revealed in the upcoming updates.

PART TWO

He was about to walk forward but was stopped by the grip on his hand. He turned to found Geet holding his hand.

She stepped forward saying, "Look Mr Maan whatever... I don't know ke tumhe mujhse kya problem hai and I don't even want to know... but get this one thing clear in your mind that we are a team for this complete year... and this assignment is given to both of us... so it will be solved by BOTH of us ok. You don't like me... fair enough... even I am not here to like you... but when it comes to studies... please be a little bit mature and professional... Ab chale liabrary? ", she said in a go making him stunned by her feisty attitude and she made her way towards library without giving any consent to him. She didn't even give him a chance to protest or to argue with her.

He stared at her for a while as if registering something in his mind and followed her to the library. Entering inside the library, Geet got engrossed in finding the necessary books for their assignment. She was searching from fifteen minutes but she couldn't found the book she was searching for as it was her first day in college and the library was pretty new for her.

Maan saw her struggling with books and even after not willing, he came and uttered, "Search in Rack no 11"and he left without even hearing her reply.

Geet narrowed her eyes exclaiming, "Mr Akdu" and she went to the Rack no 11 where he was already searching for books and was holding almost six to seven in his hand. Geet stared at him looking amazed thinking in her mind, "Not bad... isne to sari wahi books nikali hai jo mai nikalne wali thi... Mr Akdu is intelligent too... Impressive".

Maan was topper of their college from last two years. And it would not be wrong to say library was specifically his favourite spot. It was the place he would be found anytime. He glanced at Geet who was a bit lost in him and said, "Let's go". She nodded positively and quietly followed him without any argument.

Maan was walking and walking followed by Geet. She thought in her mind, "Ye library hai ya draupadi ki sari... khatam hone ka nam hi nahi leti... aur upar se ye Mr Intelligent Akdu... pata nahi kabse chale hi jaa raha hai... dusre planet par hi jakar rukega kya?" with irritation evident on her face.

Maan stopped near a table and kept his books on the table. Geet looked around, it was a literature section. She could see lot many books on love stories keeping just behind them. She could find no student there. Maybe because student were least interested in literature section and those few who were interested would generally issue books rather than reading them in library.

Sitting on the chair, Maan turned back to found Geet staring at the books amusingly. He glanced at his watch and called out for her, "Can we start?". Geet sat on chair besides him asking, "You like literature? Love stories ?".

Maan's face turned into anger. Grabbing her arm, he pulled her close to him saying rudely, "NO... I DON'T ... I HATE LOVE STORIES... BECAUSE THERE IS NOTHING SO CALLED LOVE EXISTS... LOVE IS SELFISH... IT ONLY HURTS... YOU GOT IT? AND DON'T ASK ME THIS EVER AGAIN". His tone was reflecting the pain.

He left her arms seeing tears forming into her eyes. She rubbed her arm which was become red due to his force. All what she wanted that time was to shout... to shout hard on him but she couldn't ... she just couldn't. That day she saw pain into his eyes... unbearable pain. She couldn't understand why but his pain was hurting her. She decided in her mind that no matter what she will find out the reason of his pain and will take it away from him.

"Sorry", she said in low feeble voice looking at him apologetically. Maan looked at her and nodded his head in approval. Though he was feeling bad for hurting her like that, he didn't let his face to show that.

They started working on their assignment. Maan distributed questions between them. He asked her, "Umm... lets divide questions... it will be easier to solve... I will take first 20 questions and you take next 20 questions... okay?". She nodded her head without saying anything.

Though it was Maan only who was rude to her and asked her not to talk and now she was quite... as he wanted her to be. But he didn't like her silence. Both kept stealing glances to each other unknowing to each other when they thought the other one wasn't looking. But both were aware of each other's slightest movements.

After an hour, they both uttered in unison, "I am done". They both got into a small cute eye lock but soon broke their trances. Geet's phone started ringing. She answered the call, "Hey Khushi... Really?... okk...thanks... bye". She disconnected the call and asked Maan, "We don't have our next class... so if you don't have any problem we can continue our assignment?".

"Sure... we have anyway finished 40 questions and if we could manage to finish 75 today... we can submit our assignment before due date", Maan spoke looking at her agreeing to what she was saying. And soon they again got busy with their assignment. After some time they both were done with their part and they finally solved 75 questions together in just 2 hours.

Maan stood up closing his book saying, "Finally we are done with 25% part". All of sudden Geet hugged him tightly letting out her all happiness and excitement to come out, "Yayy... Hamne kar diya...we solved 70 questions... 70...yipeee". Maan was stunned with Geet's sudden act. He was struggling with himself whether to put his arms around her or not. Before he could decide, Geet realised what she was doing and became conscious in the hug.

Pulling herself out of the hug, she mumbled, "Sorry". Maan surprisingly without getting angry softly said, "It's okay". Geet gave him a shocked expression while staring at him not blinking her eyes even once. He took a step back seeing Geet's weird reaction asking her, "What happened? Why are you staring at me like this?" while stretching his eyebrows.

He couldn't understand her behaviour. She touched his forehead with back of her palm asking him with a worried expression, "Tumhari tabyet to thik hai? Jabse ham mile hai tabse pehli bar tumne bina rudeness aur bina chillaye koi bat ki hai? ". He stared at her for a second and started laughing at her antics.

Geet smiled at him seeing him laughing so over heartedly saying, "To tumhe hasna bhi aata hai?". Maan stopped laughing at her question. His face again turned into a stern one. Avoiding looking at her, he said, "I guess we should leave... mai books rakh kar aata hu" and he went to keep the books back in the rack leaving a confused Geet behind.

She thought in her mind, "Kitna cute dikh raha tha haste hue... fir kyu ye hamesha itna ukhda ukhda rehta hai... kyu mujhe iski aakho me koi bohot bada dard dikhta hai... ye rude hai nahi lekin kyu hamesha rude bante rehta hai... kyu isne apne aapko esa bana diya hai jaisa ye hai nahi... I promise you Maan mai pata karke rahungi ki aakhir tum ese kyu ho?", silently promising to herself that she will find out what exactly was wrong with Maan.

Great part.so finally geet voiced her right to join him for completion if their project. She adviced him to be mature and sensible as they are going to be partner for a year.finally maan understood. They left for library. They searched book of their need and start their work. .maan hurted geet when she asked does he like romantic book. Geet was hurt physically but she also felt maan's pain. Eventually geet asked sorry and start their work. To some extent they completed their project. Out of excitement , geet hugged maan and surprisingly this time he didn't push her back. lovely update i knew it bandit queen will fight back maan was stunned the way geet gave him answer he simply followed her telling her where the required books are geet cribbing how big the library is they divided their work get comment on love made maan angry as it seems he was betrayed in love thats why he hates love get wanted to shout the way he hurt her biut seeing pain in his eyes she didnt say anything they completed most of their work geet hugged him later apologised but maan laughed at he antics geet swore to find the reason behind his pain
