CHAPTER 13
ALL THE NAMES & PLACES ARE FICTITIOUS (if any resemblance to persons & places is purely coincidental). Any royal titles, architectural terms,IT terms & programs, office hierachy, wedding rituals, etc. are from my imagination hence THEY ARE NOT TRUE. PLEASE DON'T BASH ME !!!!!
Maan signalled Pari with his eyes and she took a still shocked Geet to her cabin. Pari ordered tea and coffee with sandwiches as Geet had not eaten anything since morning! Just then Maan came and thanked Pari. Maan asked Pari to have lunch with Pandeyji, Romeo and Manish-a provided by KC & go home. Maan locked the cabin door from inside, gathered Geet in his arms, "Bass Mishty! Abhi toh humei bahut imtihaan dene hain aur tum abhi se darr gayeen?" (Mishty, we have lot of challenges to fight and your scared by just bitter words!)
"Mai darri nahi , magar dhakka laga ki workers mere baare mei aisa sochte hain?" (I'm not scared but shocked that workers have such a low opinion about me!)
"Workers nahi, sirf woh Raghvendra Dharampal (Raghu)!" (Not workers only that Raghvendran Dharampal (Raghu)) Then Maan and Geet had coffee, tea and sanwiches and left for home. Maan now got a personal body gaurd for Geet without making her aware!
Two week later, it was time for Maan to leave for Delhi. Tomorrow he will leave his Geet for first time alone for a month after their wedding! Geet was feeling as if her heart will break in two! Suddenly it started raining, Geet felt that nature is also crying seeing her upset so went outside to envelope the nature inside her! Maan had returned from office early to spend time with Geet. He saw Geet was drenching in rain. Rain had made Geet's clothes cling to her sexy figure making Maan's hormones shoot sky high or should I say shoot to the lower region! He hugged Geet tightly and then picked up his drenched, sexy and enticing wife in his arms and left for their bedroom. Bhola and Gauri had gone for a movie so whole cottage was empty giving them complete privacy! Maan threw Geet on bed, ripped both their clothes and made passionate love to his wife the whole night! They finally could sleep only in early hours of the morning! But in their restless and wild passion, they forgot to use protection!!
Next morning a pensive and subdued Geet bid bye to her Maan. He promised to call on their personal no., once he reached Delhi. Maan informed of his reaching and then got busy. It was a ten days, after Maan's departure and he had not called! Geet had switched on the television when a news caught her attention,
"BREAKING NEWS WE ARE REPORTING LIVE FROM DELHI. Today MR MAAN SINGH KHURANA's photograph was seen with Khurana Construction's Junior architect, Ms. Sasha Gupta in an intimate pose. (Media was broadcasting a photograph of Maan and Sasha in a hug!)Initially Mr. Khurana was unavailable for comments but then he finally commented when he was available.
"These photographs are false as I was in Manali for my takeover deal, when these photographs are reportedly taken! If you want you can get them checked. These photographs are photo shopped! Besides Ms. Sasha Gupta was fired from KC a week back, and this is her way of taking revenge! I'm a happily married man!
"Mr. Khurana,who are you married to?"
"NO COMMENTS!"
"Why was Ms. Sasha Gupta fired?"
"She was leaking KC's confidential information to our rivals! Thank you! NO MORE QUESTIONS!"
"So as you all can see that Mr. Khurana finally got married in secrecy breaking lots of hearts! WHO IS HIS WIFE, MRS. MAAN SINGH KHURANA? That we will tell you, once we know! That's all from Meenakshi Sarcar and cameraman Avinash Kochar!"
Hearing the news, Geet remembered Dadimaa's statement, "Rahul and Sasha will use against you both is jealousy and insecurity to separate you!"How correct she was! An hour later, their personal mobile rang indicating that Maan is calling! This number was given only to Geet by Maan so when they wanted to talk something personal and private! Even the family did not have their this no.!
"Aap theek hain naa? Mujhe aap ki chinta hai? Jab se woh Sashwali news aayi hai, tabse aur bhi zyaada!" (I hope you are ok? I'm worried about you? Especially since I heard the news about Sasha!)
"Geet! Geet calm down! I'm fine. I thought you will be insecure or jealous by the news of Sasha and me?"
"Why will I be insecure? I remembered what Dadimaa had said that,"Rahul and Sasha will use against you both is jealousy and insecurity to separate you!"
"Yes! You are right! Dadimaa was right! Now this is an indication that we have to be very careful! Tomorrow your car will be bullet-proof!"
"Suniye! Aap yeh sab jhamela kyun kar rahe hain. Sasha toh jaanti bhi nahi main kahaan hoon?" (Why are you doing all these arrangements? Sasha doesn't know my whereabouts?)
"Anyway, soon Rishi will be here! "
"Aap Manali, phir kab aayenge? Mujhe aapki bahut yaad aa rahi hai!" (When are you next coming to Manali? I'm missing you a lot!)
"ME TOO! Dadimaa is calling me! I have to go! Goodnight Mishty! "
"Unko mera "charan sparsh" kijiyega! Dadimaa kaisi hain?" (Please give her my high regards. How is Dadimaa?)
Maan called off after bidding each other good bye. Geet was feeling very restless but prayed to Ganpati and fell asleep.
Next morning, as stated a bullet-proof car was waiting outside the GK Apple Orchard Cottage. It was four days since the car came but Maan's call did not! Geet was getting extremely anxious and thought to call tonight! It was on fifth day morning that Geet was going on her way to office, when a man covered in a blanket was holding a small bundle which looked like a baby. The man tapped the window. Driver Gopal warned Geet not to open her window but as it was a baby she could not stop herself. Man said,
"Madamji, humara baccha rote-rote chup ho gaya, kya aap dekh sakti hain?"(Madam, my baby suddenly stopped crying, can you check and see whats wrong?)
First Geet tried to see by winding down the car window but she was not able to see the baby. Then, Geet did the biggest mistake of getting down. As soon as she got out of the car, man removed his blanket to reveal Raghu. "Chal laundiyaa! Warna tera yeh driver maara jaayega!" Aiming gun in driver's direction. (Come woman! Otherwise your driver will be killed!)
"Aap Gopal Kaka ko kuch matt kariye main chalti hoon! Magar bacche ki sehat ko toh dekhiye? " (You don't harm driver, I'll come with you! But at least see to the baby's need.)
"Kaunsa baccha?" Raghu removed the cover and showed a doll and started laughing hysterically! (What baby?)
Raghu made Geet sit in a white van and asked the driver to drive. After an hour, they reached a cottage. Raghu motioned Geet to get down from the van. Geet followed Raghu and came to stop in a big hall-like room. Few minutes later, she heard foot steps and saw Rahul and Sasha in front of her!
"Hi Geet!"
"Welcome Ms. Geetika Singh!"
"What do you want from me?"
"Revenge for sending my friends to jail!"
"So you want to kill me?"
"Not as yet! For now, I would like you to enjoy our hospitality!"
"If you want ransom then you have kidnapped the wrong person as I have no money! I'm an orphan!"
"No! I don't need ransom!"
In the meantime, terrified driver called Pari and told her of Geet's kidnapping. Pari called Maan and then hell broke loose! Maan transformed into MSK, terrifying everyone around!
Maan called Arjun and informed him of Geet's disappearance as Arjun had a right being Geet's brother! Maan called Geet's body gaurd but got no response! Driver Gopal had told Pari about Raghu's involvement. Maan called Police Commissioner and asked him to send ACP, RISHABH SHEKHAWAT as soon as possible as its an emergency!!
Maan handed KC's charge temperorily to Yash and Vicky! Maan got Khurana chartered helicopter and left for Manali with Adi. He warned Yash and Vicky not to tell Dadimaa about Geet's kidnapping! Pari and Romeo found out that after being fired from KC, Raghu wanted revenge and banged into Rahul who was looking for Geet. When Rahul showed Geet's photo he immediately recognised Geet as Ms. Singh and promised to help Rahul and take revenge for his insult as well! Adi found out that van driver had murdered Geet's body gaurd !
Geet was given a room which was not luxurious but comfortable. It had all things of need. One window was opening into secluded portion of the hall. From the window, Geet could see and hear everything going on in the main hall but people in the hall could not see or hear her!
"Raghu, yeh rahe tumhare paise, Ms. Geetika Singh ko humare paas laane ke liye!" (Raghu, this is your pay for bringing Ms. Geetika Singh to me.)
"Mujhe paise nahi, uss laundiya ke saath raat guzarni hai!" (I don't want money but to spend a night with her!)
"Woh nahi ho sakta. Uska mere liye khush rehana zaroori hai! Agar mera kaam hone ke baad woh tumhare saath jaana chahe to tum usse le jaa sakte ho!" (That can't happen now. I want her to be happy till my work is done. If after doing my work, she wants to go with you,I'm fine!)
"Mai toh usse abhi chahta hoon. Tu nahi degaa toh mei khud usse le jaaonga!" (I want her now. If you won't hand her over to me than I'll take her forcibly!)
"Raghu mai tumhe chetawni de raha hoon, rukh jaa!" But Raghu refused to listen and Rahul fired at Raghu and Raghu collapsed dead on the floor. Scarring Geet like hell! (Raghu, I'm warning you, stop!)
"Darling, why did you not give Geet to this guy, unnecessarily there has been blood shed?"
"Sasha, sometimes I really don't understand you. How can you be so inhumane being a woman?"
"Because by being humane you don't get wealth?"
"Do you even love me, Sasha?"
Although Rahul was Involved in smuggling and drugs; and he is ruthless and callous i.e. he can easily murder anyone if it is beneficial for him, but there was one quality in him that was, he always respected women. Despite of having umpteen mistresses and girl-friends he never forced himself on them! Now also, despite of wanting revenge from Geet, Rahul could not mistreat her! Rahul had got to know through his sources that Geet was a girl of strong character, loyal and who always spoke the truth! Rahul some where appreciated these qualities, which unfortunately Sasha did not possess!
