The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

Days slipped hard for Maan , nd smooth nd excited for Geet,, there wr few more free days for her , then she had to join her college nd in coming days it wd be going tough for her to move frequently there ,, setting work on a track , she cd take rest nd DJ nd uncle cd check that ,, she need much time for her study ,, her 3dr trimester was going on nd her study cd come on halt after 2 months .

It was decided that they wd go to Friday evening as Geet insisted to spend weekend there,, in coming week her college wr opening ,,she wdn't get much time to visit there .

Maan was waiting eagerly for Geet , DJ nd Kabir ,, though he asked them daily about Geet , nd now DJ nd Kabir talked to him nicely ,, from India DM , Reema nd Yash talked to DJ , Kabir nd Geet 2-3 times ,, Yash made new set of share papers ,, he sent them at Maan's office add , bcoz he didn't stay at home at day time , but as Maan was in farm so he didn't get d papers nd they wr at his table ,, at Friday when Maan called Kabir then he informed that they wr reaching at farm by eve nd met with him there ,, it was a good news for Maan , he cd see Geet again after 4 days,, he was sure that this time they wd stay in Van , which was a surprise for them .

As Geet planned she took them directly at farm , they entered in gate nd find d area lit with solar lights ,, nice gate , nd fencing ,, they looked around saw wrkrs tents , gave a satisfied nod ,nd then saw Maan nd Rzr coming towards them ,, Maan face lit seeing them there,, Rzr wished them , but Maan wished nd touched DJ nd Kabir's feet which startled Rzr , but then shrugged off taking that an Indian culture ,, both blessed him ,, Maan nd Rzr wished Geet , nd she coldly replied back ,, DJ nd Kabir saw d Caravan nd thought that it belonged to constr Co ,, Maan was looking at Geet how she wd open this secret ? Rzr left after few talks he was living out not in tent , but Maan came back after getting dinner from a small eating place in village near d Inns ,, his remembrance with Geet wr here , so he prefer to stay here,, he had his sleeping bag nd like this life of camping .

Geet took out d keys of caravan , there was a fear in her heart that how wd DJ nd uncle react ?

Geet : DJ , uncle plzz come this side , there is a surprise for both of u .

Both looked at her curious nd so Maan ,, Geet held DJ's hand nd brought her near Caravan ,, Kabir nd Maan followed them ,,Geet handed keys to DJ nd said to open d door .

Geet : open it DJ .

DJ confused : but why , whose is this ?

Geet: it is ours nd sply for u nd uncle ,, pahale door to kholo , plzz

DJ opened d door nd ,, Geet looked at Maan nd he entered nd switch on d lights ,, d whole Caravan lit up.

Geet: now u both go in ,, this is a gift for u .. A caravan .

DJ nd Kabir shocked : What !!! caravan !!! ,, What do u mean ? OMG!!! how this come here ?

Geet: 1^st go in nd there we all talked ,, come on DJ , uncle .

They went in nd looks around shocked nd surprised ,, they wr confused nd looked at Maan thinking that was he behind this ?

Geet: I know uncle , DJ that u both r shocked plus surprised , so let me clear ,, I know uncle like d peaceful simple life of village nd that's why brought this farm here in an Amish village ,, Amish who believe in very simple life nd traditions ,, they r away from mod world ,, this place really very peaceful , but we wr not able to spent time here ,, it took time to built FH so I decided to place a caravan here so that uncle cn spend peaceful time here with his family ,, How is it ?

DJ nd Kabir looked at Geet shocked : u did this ? When ? how ?

Geet smiled nd looked at them nd then at Maan : when i came here to meet to discuss about blue prints nd to check work of solar system ,, I prepared it there in city nd d workshop ppl brought it here ,, Mr Richard's wrkrs helped in fixing it n nd then Mr MK .

DJ nd Kabir only staring at Geet , then at Maan , who didn't hinted about this ?

Geet: plzz tell me do u like it ,, I m curious to know , only then we cn celebrate d fun .

Kabir : it was indeed fantastic , thanks a lot beta , but I have many Qs too .

DJ: yes , I love it , but i'll take ur class, nd ur too ( she threatened Maan nd he gave a nervous smile).

Geet bite her tongue: yeah sure , but after having a good feel of home in ur farm , I m sure u'll love it when u got up in mrng , only then i'll reply ur Qs .

Maan: Geet do u all staying here ?

Geet: yes Mr MK , nd will u plzz...

Maan: I know , I m just coming .

Maan went out nd sent a wrkr to fill d water tank of caravan nd gave add to other to call d buggi nd coachman ,, now Co kept 2 cycles at site to go out for wrkrs ,, Maan came in d van ,, DJ nd Kabir wr busy looking everything in van ,, Geet was showing them with gr8 enthusiasm ,, she was very happy , which made Maan happy after days ,, he noticed that she had a very big heart nd thought for others happiness 1^st , not for her.

Maan went nd started Gen ,nd water warmer , then joined them ,, Geet started d fridge nd then bent to took out d things ,, Maan saw her nd stopped her,, this thing startled all .

Maan: Geet ,, don't , I told u not to bend like this , DJ why don't u stop her ? She never care .

DJ nd Kabir looked at Maan ,, then Geet nd then at each other .

Geet: Mr MK , now u r not on duty as my BG , so stop bossing like this ? now u cn't say that I m alone here .

DJ: geet but he is right , u have to take care of small-small things .

Kabir : beta , it's for ur good , be careful .

Geet annoyed : aaannn,, plzz don't treat me like a glass doll , I m fine nd let me enjoy .

Maan: u cn enjoy with care too , for some work u cn tell ,, tell me what do u want ?

DJ nd Kabir noticed a big change ,, Geet was not getting angery like before , d bitterness between them reduced in that sudden need, Maan really did good efforts ,, both gave an contented look to each other , it cd be a good sign for future .

Geet : wo I want to make some coffee nd tea for all .

DJ : u sit , i'll do that .

Maan: DJ u didn't get idea d things, everything is new for u , plzz aap sab baitho , mai banata hu, aaj mere hath ki taste ker lo as a return gift of ur delicious meals ,, I love d food u cooked .

DJ : when u ate d food ?

Maan: Geet brought that food here nd she shared that with me when I was here for her care ,, as I promised to u I cdn't leave her alone here nd remained around her ,, so in pity she offered me meals.

Geet annoyed : yes u r right here , that was a pity ,, they appointed u as a BG for me then I have to pay in any way , good u take that a pity , not favour, (then she looked at DJ nd Uncle raising her eyebrows in a Q way crossing her arms against her chest),, u both didn't tell me that u appointed mr MK as my BG .

DJ was quiet nd Kabir tried to clear d matter ,, it was true they didn't tell Geet that they wr in Maan 's contact nd requesting him to take care of her ,, that time only he was d only person , who cd take care of Geet well , but they knew well that Geet hate him nd get angry seeing him .

They didn'y know what Khichdi Maan nd Geet had cooked ,, he blackmailed her nd she agreed to hide d truth from them ,, but they wr awed seeing that Geet nd Maan wr talking normally , but now Maan opened d secret that they told him to take care of her , nd Geet cd Qs them .

Kabir: Geet what cn we do from there ,,u put us in tension saying that u r going to farm ,, u don't have to come alone beta ,, ur DJ became very tense nd worried for u ,, when u said that Maan is here nd it he was doing d FH proj ,, then we thought to contact him ,, at that situation we cd only trust him , after all he is a family ,, he assured us nd bcoz of him we wr in peace there , we wr helpless beta , nd bcoz of ur anger we didn't tell u .

DJ: u put us in tension coming here alone , it was good that Man was here,, thanks Maan beta .

Maan's heart jumped with joy listening that both d elders trusted him , where Geet understood their condition , but she didn't want to loss this chance to save her skin .

Geet: it's OK , but I m not a baby who cdn't look after me , nd I knew how to behave at what time? This time i'll ask d dr , I think she won't advise me to sit like a log.

Maan: O hello ,there is a big diff between being active nd putting u in trouble.

Geet glared at him nd Maan gave a thoughtful look raising his brow like ..i cn open ur secret ,, geet turned her face nd Maan handed coffee mug to Kabir nd tea to DJ with a smile .

DJ : thanks beta , waise bacche care karen bada accha lagta hei .

Maan forwarded Geet her tea with a smile ,,, he knew this was all her smart act to save her skin ,,, beauty with brain .

Maan : gussa nahi karo aur apni chai peeo .

Geet : no , I don't want tea .

Maan: plzz try to understand d situation Geet , if u r thinking for their happiness then why cn't they think same for u ,, so calm down nd take ur tea .

Geet: I want coffee not tea .

Maan: coffee ?

Geet: yes .

DJ : hum her taste changed nd she is liking coffee .

Kabir , OK take my coffee , i'll take tea .

Maan: no , it's OK uncle u have urs , there is coffee ,, have this Geet .

Maan gave her his coffee nd took d tea mug , Geet cd say Maan took d sip from tea to avoid any further yes -no .

Geet was shocked seeing that he was taking tea leaving his coffee for her , hum Mr Khurana jyada hi sweet ban raha hei , I know, I have to keep quiet , so bearing u Mr, otherwise Geet is impossible for u ,, she took d coffee mug nd sat next to DJ .

Geet: so mr MK , what is d progress in work ?

Maan: aamm,, it's satisfactory , better u all see that in d mrng ,, wing tower has set nd room'll be ready in next 2-3 days ,, tube well work has started there , u cn see.

Geet: nd what about FH work ?

Maan: Rzr is making layout plan ,, we demarked d built up plot area nd started digging land for foundation .

Geet: hum , OK .

Maan: DJ ,uncle , in India we do a ritual of putting foundation stone with pooja , how'll u do here ?

DJ : yes u r right here , but we don't know how to do ? Kabir u know?

Kabir : no , but if u all want then Geet'll put d foundation stone ,, she is our daughter .

Geet became senty ,, DJ nd Kabir uncle put her at 1^st place in all , where as her own ppl threw her away .

Geet : why me uncle , it's ur dream so u'll put d stone , right DJ ?

Kabir: no , u r my lucky child , it's happening all bcoz of u ,, see u brought me here nd I m with my family here to spent time ,, u make my all dreams true beta , so only u'll do that ,, Maan on Sunday mrng we'll do that , OK.

Maan smiled : Ok uncle , as u wish .

Geet: mr MK , u believe in all these rituals , strange ?

Maan: if elders r following it from ages ,then may be these rituals have some values,, don't u believe ?

Geet: I don't believe in any rituals , what is d use of rituals if ppl follow then only to show off nd by heart , mind nd soul don't valued them ,, it's better to do nd start any work OR anything with pure heart nd respect ,, trust in God nd walk ahead, we r on same earth , but for some ppl it's sunset nd for some sunrise , but we all know that there is no sunset .. wo to hamesha rahata hei .

DJ: Geet , these r very complicated things beta ,, better we leave this topic here .

Kabir : yes , Farida is right ,, we all have diff faith nd logics ,, so better to think good nd enjoy d time together

Geet: yes , but if Mr MK raise this topic , so I want that u do that uncle .
