*Beyond Death*~ new MG SS; Chap 7 on page 35, (09/10) - Page 4

So here we are finally getting started with this new story of mine... God I'm so nervous. Don't know, how much you're gonna like it..

Chapter 1:

Its been a week to the incident. Geet has stopped going to the school. The mocking and laughing faces of everyone, are like regular torture for her.. She can't get the picture out of her mind... But, what if she has saved herself from the outsiders, the actual trouble lies in her house only...

The Khannas and the Handas are the family friends. They resides beside each other. Their house is almost attached to each other. The children of both the families, are never seen in their own house. It is either their common garden, or the other one's house...

And here they are in Geet's room, to have their little fun session. After Geet's outburst during the annual function, they all have teamed up against Geet, to have little fun at her cost. Only the thing is they don't know where to draw the line.

They sneaked into Geet's room, quietly, and saw her sitting on the floor, near the bed. Her knees drawn closer to chest and she's resting her head on it. The elders have gone out, so the youngers could have as much fun as they wish..

Veer came and sat by Geet and said, "Are you talking to the ghost???"

Geet instantly raise her head above, and saw, her siblings and the Khanna children are sitting all around her, almost hovering over her...

When she doesn't answers his question, Veer tried again, "Geet how do ghost looks like???"

Geet stays mum, at this and decides to ignore them. Seeing no effect on her they decided to pester her more...

Sam: "Geet , why do they talk to you???? Do any of them like you???"

Dev replies on Geet's behalf, "No maybe loves her... And I think, she must have a dead boyfriend too.. What say Geet???"

Geet still keeps mum.

This time Brij came forward, and asked, "Geet, are you any WITCH??? Maybe performs any black magic too, isn't it???"

This time, it hits the mark. Geet's eyes get clouded with tears. Seeing this, the others decide to proceed on the same way...

Veer: " Did you killed anyone??? Maybe that's why, you can see them... They are here to take you, with them, maybe."

Annie: "Haww Geet... That means, you are a DAAYAN... Will you kill us too??", she said taking the fun game a step further...

Dev: "No Annie, I've read somewhere, that the witch must sacrifice the person whom they love the most..."

Sam: "Who it must be???"

Brij: "She loves Maa and Papa the most... Maybe them???"

Annie: "Haawww Geet, you're gonna kill Aunty and Uncle for your stupid black magic... You're such a witch..", she said making a disgusting face...

Geet is by now crying loudly. Their words are like rubbing salts on her wounds. Already, she's not able to understand these seeing deads and all, then the annual function incident, and now they are creating doubt on herself, with their words..

Veer: "Maybe this all are false???? Maybe there's nothing like this???"

Sam: "But how could this be possible???"

Veer: "It is.. Maybe coz she's MAD... or a PHSYCHO.."

Geet looked at him shocked.. Is she mad??? Is that's why she can see such things???

Brij: "So that means, she's mental???"

Sam: "Mental???? Hmmm... nice name. From today we'll call her as MENTAL GEET... In short MG."

All others burst out laughing, and Geet looked down with teary eyes.

They stood up and started dancing around her, while continuously chanting Mental Geet... Mental Geet...

She covers her ears with her palm, but seeing this they started singing it more loudly. And when finally she couldn't take it anymore, she started shouting loudly, "STOP IT... STOP... I DON'T WANT TO HEAR ANYTHING.. STOP... LEAVE.. LEAVE."

They started laughing at her, and all Geet could remember was the auditorium full of students, making fun of her... Mocking her, and her parents hiding their faces in embarrassment...

Geet gave a hard push to the one infront of her... It turned out to be Annie. All laughter died, and they looked at Annie whose forhead got a severe cut during the fall.

Veer, couldn't control his anger and slapped Geet hard. This angered Geet more and next she gave him a push and he's far on the ground. She wanted to shut them up at any cost, but now its anger to teach them a lesson. She started throwing anything and everything which she could see there. Some even hurted the others and others in indefinite direction...

This is how, she was caught by the elders. Mr.Mohinder Handa came forward and gave a tight slap to Geet. Geet looked at him with hurt filled eyes, but he didn't stopped and slapped her one after another...

He only stopped, when Rano came and holds his hand. Till that time, Geet is on the verge of getting unconscious, but no one cares. They carried the other children for treatment, while Geet stood there like a motionless pillar.

None came to her that whole day. They locked her from outside, and inside Geet is all broken. The slaps by her father, got imprinted on her soul, never to go.

"Geet..."

She heard a voice and looked forward to find her new found friend sitting near her... She's the first one, whom she saw after her accident... Yup, she's DEAD. The same day, when her accident took place. She's almost the same age as hers...

At first, she used to get scared , but then she calmed at her presence. Her name is Piya Malhotra..

But now, Geet considers this power as a curse, and she doesn't want to have anything related to this power...

Geet: "Why are u here??? Just leave..."

Piya: "Geet... i.."

Geet: "LEAVE.. This is all because of u all... I don't want to see u ever.. They think I'm mad... I'm not... No one believes me... All coz of u.. Why can't u make them see u??? Why me??? Why me???"

Piya: "Geet.. listen please..."

Geet: "I don't want to listen to anything just leave... Leave.."

Piya becomes sad at this.. She decides to leave her, and just said, "If u ever want to meet me, just comes to my graveyard. You know where it is... Bye Geet..", and then she disappears..

Geet pretended not to hear, and shouts loudly, "LEAVE... LEAVE... Just leave me alone... Go... LEAVE."

The whole family, comes to her room only to witness, Geet getting wild again and throwing things here and there, and continuously saying "LEAVE...leave."

The doctor who came for the treatment of the other children comes forward and asks them to hold her. He inserted the sedative, in her arms . In few minute she's lying on the bed, unconcious.

The doctor, advised them to take her to a pshychatrist.

And next she remembers she's being treated by some pshychatrist in her own house. They used to give her heavy dose medicines, injections, and some therapy sessions.. They tried hard to make her believe that whatever she sees is just an illusion nothing else...

At first she tries to make them understand, her side, but never dared to do that again after a certain incident...

One day when no one's at home, then the doctors and the nurses gave her current shock, just to make her shut... They are fed up of her continuous chantings of the deads and ghosts and lastly, used the shock therapy on her. They make her understand, not to ever speak a word about it to any one, or they'll torture her more...

She shouted, pleaded, begged them, not to do so, but with the last shock which passed through her, she lost her will to fight anymore... None heard her crying, her pleadings, her pain, and at last, she decided to keep shut...

Anyway none's going to listen to hear.. So why waste time, and energy in such useless issues..

But unknown to everyone, a pair of eyes have seen the whole incident, but being too scared to speak a word about it, decided to stay shut..

When everyone came back to home, they got surprised to see Geet, obeying their every word. She's no more chanting about those DEADS... GHOSTS, etc. They were too happy, to even bother asking how did the doctors made this possible..

The doctors were too scared for their secret to come out in open, so cleverly advised the family to send Geet away to a hostel. Reason, given, that it'll help divert her mind, and bring freshness to her...

They happily obliged to their words, and that was the final nail to Geet's coffin.

The very next week she was sent away to the Mussorie school, and was staying in a hostel... All alone.. All sad... All alone with those deads to torment her, and no one to listen to her... None to help her, coz she never tells anyone...

PPPOOONNN...

Her reverie broke with the sound. She's again remembering those days... The train blew its whistle signaling that it is ready to leave the station now... She looks at the passing station, and read the last board, MUSSORIE STATION...

After so many years, she's going back.. She doesn't know, what all changed there, but she's definitely changed...

And now it is time to return to Delhi... It is time to return where it started all together..

Tell me how is it... Good??? Bad?? I'm nervous yaar... Ya I know, no Maan yet, but wait for him guys... He is MSK afterall. He has his repo you see... Jokes apart, he'll enter the story soon... But this chappy was important actually... So first completed it...

It's really emotional update. Really feeling bad for geet. What kind of parents she has who did not understand their own child. Well waiting for more as getting addicted to your ff.thanks for your hard work.
