It was two at night when the nurse came and asked geet and swarna to be in the ICU with the baby..Though no one was allowed there but they were shifting the little girl in the private ward as she was now better.. There were bandages all over her head and the needles were pricked in her small wrist.. geet felt like crying seeing the pain that the little one was going through.. She sat beside her and caressed the baby... it was almost two days and six hours that geet was there with baby in the hospital..Once the doctors had lost the hope that they could save her but it was after sometime with the prayers of geet and swarna the baby was out of the danger..

Swarna saw the reports and the nurse along with the ward boys shifted the baby in the private room.. Baby was gaining her conscious when geet was sitting beside her.. Both of them were too tired and in these two days geet had forgotten that she had lost her parents..The pain was subdued inside with the worry of everything.. And that everything included the baby, her well being.. geet has gotten a reason to live in the two days that now her all attention was on the little life ..

The nurse settled all the tubes and baby.. geet and swarna was with baby till the nurse was gone.. She was though unconscious but she was small and even if swarna wanted to go she couldn't just because she was there for geet and geet was all lost in taking care of the little one.. geet though didn't noticed but time to time she used to cry seeing the wounds that were on the small body of the baby.. And whatever the doctor's revealed was no shock for swarna..The condition she had seen of the baby she was sure that either it was an accident or someone tried to kill her... the diamond pendent in her neck was a proof that she belonged to a rich and wealthy family but the way her life was in danger says that things were no good for the little soul..

Geet settled on the couch that was in the corner of the private ward that they had opted, the treatment that the little one was getting was best that geet could give.. She was doing all the things that no stranger would do.. not just the monetary help but she was giving herself for the girl who was not related to geet in any way.. geet refused to go with swarna she wanted to sit with the baby.. geet come , thodi der rest lele.. I am here with her..waise bhi she is sleeping doctors have given the sedatives and her medicines are too strong ,she won't wake up.. chap..Now come get up.. swarna literally dragged geet and made her sit on the couch.. Still she could feel the restlessness in geet , and she knew that it was not because of any other reason but for the safety of baby..

She is sleeping see.. swarna made geet look at the baby and geet nodded..She was feeling too tired and now she wanted to share her concern with someone and she knew that no one can understand her better than swarna.. They were together from many years now..

Swarna , how can someone can be so inhuman , she is just a little baby , how can someone try to kill her...swarna was confused , till now she was having a doubt of the accident but listening to geet she was now more shocked that how can geet be so sure..Even the way her eyes were emoting the anger and pure hatred for the unknown person who tried to kill this unknown baby girl was making her to listen to geet and then conclude..

How can you be so sure geet.. ?swrna's tone was not like she was believing geet but she was more interested in confirming the things that she didn't even thought could be possible..

Doctor's said that there were wounds that usually found when someone is beaten.. I don't know how people can be so cruel.. Don't they have hearts.. See her, she is just a baby..May be of four years.. And she is injured so badly and even if that was not enough, she was then thrown in the river to die.. swarna , I know that you still think that it can be accident.. I have seen ma papa's body after the accident.. geet chocked and swrna held her..

Geet smiled telling her that she was fine.. And swrna mouthed a sorry, she knew that geet will be fine but it was her somewhere who provoked her to say all these things..

Don't worry the little angel will be fine...she know that you are now there for her.. geet's face touched a little smile that was not a forced one but the way she cheered up was a response that was directly coming from her heart ..

I know that I am there for her.. Until I will find her parents, I have decided that she will stay with me swrna.. geet said determined.. swrna smiled and assured geet that she will be there for her two angels..

Off course I know..We will be there for her.. Now you sleep for some time I am here.. , swrna made geet to take some rest..She was exhausted both physically and mentally and she sat on the chair that was placed beside baby's bed..

Geet had woken up when she heard the baby's soft cry.. The nurse was giving her the shot and her meek cry that was only of tears that were flowing freely from her eyes..geet saw her tears and immediately went beside her and wiped her tears.. She held the baby softly so that her mind would divert and it did..Seeing a new person in front of her she was continuously staring at geet and nurse gave her the shot, though still the tears flow but the way she was staring at geet made swrna chuckle..

Baby is finally awake and see geet she is staring at you like she saw a ghost.. She teased geet and now geet looked at baby and she too found baby's eyes looking at her without a blink and geet touched her cheek and baby blinked her eye making geet smile.. she was a pure white with hazel eyes baby and the way she was looking at geet innocently geet felt connected to her..

aapka name kya hai baby..She asked the baby and baby just blinked again.. geet asked impatiently she was curious to know about her , ask her , her name and within inside she wanted baby to talk and speak.. she had actually found something unusual with the very soft cry,, that she thought that she had hallucinated...

She isn't speaking swarna , geet complained like a baby.. Even swarna came and kissed baby's forehead and this time baby smiled making geet frown..

This is not fair, she is responding you..

swarna first thought not to tease geet but she let it go and confirmed that she has asked about the discharge of the baby and she isn't getting discharge in next two days..

geet , she must be scared .. Make her comfortable first..don't start with your chatterbox mouthshe said making a teasing face and baby girl was looking at both friends trying to know them, swarna had made her lie on the bed properly and baby was now holding geet's hand.. Soon she felt sleepy an d slept..

Look she slept holding my hand.. geet said smilingly.. Today she was happy as the baby was showing improvement even the doctors had asked to give her liquid but only in a little amount , the doctor's were literally threatened by swrna and the Police authorities were given all the information that geet had.. they were even given the pendant that baby was having but geet asked for it and knowing geet , even the authorities didn't questioned her , she knew that this is the only belonging that could lead to her parents ..
