When does a woman know when she is in love? Geet lay on her side as she thought of the last few days, their trip, Rudr attacking them, suddenly her boss being possessive. She didn't know how to reciprocate. The dark cloud which hovered them was very much noticeable, Rudra Singhania will definitely continue to overshadow them. He'd always be there, just waiting and planning. She couldn't allow anyone to be getting hurt because of her. She couldn't imagine the guilt that'd wrap around her if anything happened to her father or Maan.
She'd dragged her boss into this situation, she'd taken his name when she wanted to avoid being married off to her best friend.
She curled up almost hugging herself as she continue to think over and over regarding her current situation.
There seemed to be only one reasonable escape from this situation.
So the next morning she'd woken up leaving a letter for her father and walked away without a word to anyone. She wanted to move away, somewhere where Rudra wouldn't look for her. She knew Rudra will notice she's missing and with her father and Maan panicking he'd learn neither were part of her plan. She'd disappear for a while and not be seen.
4 years later
Sameer Handa sat in the living room as usual rocking back and forth, a shot of whiskey held in his hand as he watched out the window. The girl whom he loved was no longer in his life, he searched for her, he had his men looking for her everywhere, he'd only got a few snapshots of his little girl, by the time he'd reach the town she was gone.
She was on the run obviously and he knew why. Rudra! So he did the unthinkable, he'd buried his friend down to the ground. He couldnt allow his daughter to live her life by running, he needed to find her, assure her she doesn't have to be afraid. He wanted to find his baby girl, he wanted her to come home. Each evening he'd look out from this window hoping to see her walking down the pebbled path and come home but he was afraid...
"Daddyyy" Aashika called out trotting into her father's room.
He groaned pushing his face into the pillow, but his daughter was adament of waking him up, He could hear her as she climbed onto the bed and crawled over settling herself comfortably on his back. "Daddy wake up. Mommy say we going to see smaw baby"
"Baby it's really early" he turned around taking her and settled her on his stomach and looked up. His daughter had her mothers large blue eyes, not like his brown ones. He smiled whilst Aashika lowered down peppering kisses to his face.
"Maan" His wife called out, he turned his head smiling faintly as she walked into the room looking at both father and daughter. "You're still sleeping?" she raised her brows tapping her feet crossing her arms in front of her room. "Aashi baby I said to wake your daddy"
"I did mommy pwomise" Aashika replied in her defence. "Daddy not wake up" she shook her head. "You wake up daddy" she pointed her finger to his nose.
"Maan wake up, we need to get dadima checked out. She's not been feeling well" She moved towards their bed taking Aashika from him and rested her little toddler on her hip. "Be quick"
"Hmm..."he smiled sitting up, he tugged both mother and daughter close and pressed a kiss to Aashika's nose and his wife's cheek. "I'll be downstairs in a little bit Nina" he informed caressing her small bump.
"Quick" she looked at him playfully before she walked away.

The moon is brighter than the mornin' sun
The birds sing sweeter and the bees they buzz
A silly little song and we're hummin' along
Dancin' like a dandelion swaying in the breeze
Floating like a butterfly
Falling like an autumn leaf
Its no ordinary thing
Between you and me
Her voice raised as she strummed the guitar, she smiled seeing the cheers coming from the customers, she released the microphone from the holder and brought it closer to her lips as she continued singing the lyrics.
That's what I love about your love
Knocks me off my feet
Takes me on a trip to another galaxy
Smacks me with a smile
Longer than a country mile
Get's my heart runnin'
Like a river runnin' wild
I can never get enough
That's what I love about your love
You lean over.my shoulder
And it's over and done
Ain't nothing like the feeling of finding that one
It's the piece of the puzzle
Ain't no doubt about it
It's a good kind of trouble
She could hear the few cat calls coming from the men, she only winked at them playfully as she continued singing with a wide smile, she didn't think of anything beyond what her next words should be.
That's what I love about your love
Knocks me off my feet
Takes me on a trip to another galaxy
Smacks me with a smile
Longer than a country mile
Get's my heart runnin'
Like a river runnin' wild
I can never get enough
That's what I love about your love
It puts the hon in my honey
Oh it puts the fun in my funny
It's right on the money
And all of the above
That's what I love about your love
Knocks me off my feet
Takes me on a trip to another galaxy
Smacks me with a smile
Longer than a country mile
Get's my heart runnin'
Like a river runnin' wild
I can never get enough
That's what I love about your love
That's what I love about your love
That's what I love about your love
That's what I love about your love
The moon is brighter than the morning sun
The birds sing sweeter
And they bee's they buzz
Cheers filled the small bar as she finished the song, she thanked them smiling as they clapped. She skipped down the steps with her friends and went to the back of the bar for a break. She took the glass of water Kiara offered her, she swallowed it down and looked over her shoulder hearing the door swing open.
Ryan walked in grinning widely. "Looks like the advertising helped a lot. We've made quite a lot of money tonight" he waved the money she'd made with her group.
"Thank you very much" She held out her hands, Ryan passed the money to her.
"You've done really well Geet" he praised. "You've come a long way, look at how much you're earning now"
"I know" she winked plastering a wide smile, she handed out everyone's share of the earnings before they gathered their things and left for the night.
Geet returned to her shared accomadation which was a hostel, she shared a room with her Kiera, Craig and Frank. When she'd walked out of her home, she hadn't expected to be completely homeless, obviously she didn't think things through when she walked out. She'd arrived in Calfornia and spent the early few months waitressing so she'd be able to earn enough for a shared accomation.
She came around to singing in small bars earning a few extra when Kiera heard her strumming Craig's guitar and dragged her into the bar announcing her name that she'll be singing. Geet had no choice especially when everyone's eyes turned to her, so she sang and earned a little extra. With the tips from waitressing and the money from the bar she'd made enough for her living and had extra for clothes and littel treats.
Geet was exhausted so climbed on her bed and sunk in with a yawn, she didn't think much of her old life, she'd escaped a lot of things, she'd run from the pleasure she was blessed with, she'd left her family, her work, her everything behind.
She couldn't apply for a job anywhere where her name was going to be on some record because Rudra would've found her. He would've found her and killed her. She knew her father was looking for her, she'd had her previous room mates inform her an old man seemingly looking like her father was asking after her. Each time her father came close to finding her, she'd upped with Craig, Kiera and hid in a different town. Kiera and Craig followed where she went due to the fact that they all played together in bars. She'd felt guilty many times but Kiera and Craig had been kind enough to say they needed an adventure.
She thought back to the man she left behind, her boss. She didn't see him in a romantic way, just may be if she'd stayed and let things play over she'd have felt something more than a little attraction. But 4 years on, she didn't think of him as anything other than her boss. She was glad in a way that it hurt her that she had to leave her father behind, had it been a lover then it would've broken her heart and she wouldn't have been able to look past that. She slowly closed her eyes allowing herself to sleep on her decisions, whether they'd been right or wrong she didnt know.
"Aashika" Maan frowned seeing her crawling away just as Nina readied porridge for her breakfast.
"Me no like powidge" she cried when he reached down and took her onto his lap.
"Well mommy says you have to have this" he replied grabbing the bib and slipped it around her neck tying the two ends together.
"Mommy me no wan... pwease..." she cried throwing her head back and shaking. "No.. no.. no" she kicked her legs frantically trying to escape Maan's arms.
"Baby doctor said you have to have this to get better" Nina attempted once more but it only fell onto the laminated floor. "Aashika" Nina warned in her stern tone.
"Daddy" Aashika looked hopefully at Maan, her lips shaking and her chin trembling.
"Bring her something else to eat, just mix her medicine in with her milk" Maan suggested.
"You're always giving in to her Maan" Nina muttered placing the bowl onto the table.
"She's my darling baby that's why right?" he looked for confirmation.
Aashika grinned widely hugging him. "I baby" she giggled innocently.
"Wow" Vivaan stood behind Sam looking into the mirror, as she stood there in her long cream gown, a small bump showing. "You're fat" he chuckled.
Sam smacked his arm shaking her head. "Shut up Vivaan"
"2 Months back you begged me to call you fat" he reminded.
"Whatever. I... I just wanted confirmation I was actually pregnant. But now at this party I'd look like the big pregnant whale" she whined. "There's going to be all these people around and saying I'm a whale. I don't wanna be a whale"
"Baby you look gorgeous and wonderful to me" he slipped his arms around her kissing her neck. "I love you" he whispered looking into the mirror staring at her face, pregnancy made his wife look beautiful.
"How did I get you?" she muttered softly.
"Um let's see it was a load of hard work convincing you to even love me" he laughed jokingly.
She turned around tilting her head back, her fingers slipped through his hair and caressing gently. "I love you too jerk"
"Back at you dork" he chuckled rubbing his nose against hers.
