She was descending stairs.She was wearing White dress with colorful chunni. He was mesmerized by her beauty. He was looking at her childhood friend but there were not any traces of that old bubbly girl.She was so different than that bubbly girl.Her long hair and her brown eyes. He was staring at her.Some one tell him ,it is rude to stare.!
But he is maan khurana.
Geet's pov
All were settled on dining table. Only two chairs were empty. I was some how conscious around maan. I took my seat near dad.
'Hello dad!' I leaned and kissed his left cheek lightly.
'Oh geet.. Bete itni der laga di..tumhari mom Kab se Tumhara wait Kar rahi hai.'
'sorry mom..' I replied her with a pouting face.
'Geet ye maan hai.' my dad introduced me to him.
'Tum bhul gai kya?',arjun could not stop himself.
And then maan lifted his face and looked directly in my eyes. It was all familiar still so different.
I greeted him,'Hello maan..'
'Hii geet.. ' he greeted back.
It felt awkward..
But her mom interrupted this little exchange of words.
'Geet baith jao beta..
Aaj sab geet ki choice ka banaya hai..',said mom while serving every one.
'Kyun Aunty ? aaj kya hai? ' Maan asked mom.
'Aaj geet ko job mil gai hai..'Dad replied him.
Arjun jumped to his feet and and hugged me,'oh geet,,,congratulations!'
and lightly kissed me on my head.
'Congratulations geet',Maan also congratulated him.
The the dinner was continued with little words here and there.

Both Of them didn't get any chance to talk directly with each other.
Geet made herself busy with helping her mother to put everything in kitchen. The maid cleaned table.
They all were settled in living room. They were talking and enjoying coffee.
'hey geet , tum ne kya study kiya hai?' Maan asked her.
'MFA from J J school of Arts, Mumbai' Geet replied him.
'Ahhan ..nice..ab job karne wali ho?' Maan asked her while taking a sip from his coffee mug.
'haan..'
'hmm..Par tum job karogi?' He had thought of her as some spoilt girl,who will just waste his fathers money on shopping and after study stay at home.
'Kyun ? Itni Padhai ki hai..to job to karungi hi na..tum wo old type thinking wale to nahi ho na jo aisa sochta ho ki sirf ghar par hi rahena chahiye hame..' She narrowed her eyes at him after listening his question.
'Geet mera wo matlab nahi tha..par tumhe yaad nahi tum jab chhoti thi aur sab puchhte the ki kya banogi tum badi hokar to tum hamesha se bolti thi..ki tum ghar par hi rahena pasand karogi..'
'ahhan she did not said in that exact words maan' arjun spoke after putting his mug on coffee table.
'Use to mummy hi banana hota tha' he showed her his tongue.and everybody laughed.
She pouted,'mein tab bahot chhoti thi ..aise mera mazak mat karo..mujhe tab kuchh samaj nahi aata tha..'
'ab to aa raha hai na..ab bhi wahi answer hai kya?' arjun was in full to reasing mood.
'arjun',and she ran after him with pillow clutched in her hands.
Maan was looking at her with a grin on his face.
'Dekha Ragini ab bhi tumhare bachhe bade nahi hue..chhote bachho ki tarah ladte rahte hai.',Neel turned to Ragini.
'Aap to aise kahete hai jaise sirf mere bachhe hai..apke bhi hai..ap kyun nahi kahere inhe..Dono ki shaadi ki age ho gai par dekho inhe' Ragini replied him with a smile.
'Shaadi se yaad aaya..Maan tumhe kal sab lene jaan hai na ..to Geet ko Apne sath le jaao..use bahot pasand hai shopping ..aur uski choice bhi achhi hai..'Neel told maan.
'Haan uncle sab ki gifts leni hai..aur Bhabhi ke liye bhi kuchh lena hai..Abhi ki shaadi jo hai..'Maan said to him and looked around to find Rawte siblings fighting with pillows.
'Haan tum do teen din mein sab shopping kar lo hum thursday ko shaam ko nikal rahe hai..aur aaj saturday hai..to tab tak to ho jayega na sab?'
'Haa..bas usi ke liye to mein yahan aaya tha..ho jayega sab..'Maam was thinking about what to buy and not to buy for his family members.
'Chalo Ragini..Good might maan bete,aur tum dono..chalo jao..so jao ..itne bade ho gaye par ladna zagadana band nahi kiya abhi tak..'Neel told trio.
'Good night uncle and aunty',maan told to Mr and Mrs. Rawte.
'Good night guys..'and with that maan went to his room.He heard muffel sound of good night.
Arjun ruffeled geets hair and both went towards their room.
