This story was one of my favorites from the competition for many reasons. The thoughtfulness behind each scene, emotions, humor, crazy Geet, going out of the way Maan; it was all beautifully written. But above all, what I loved was the pure, selfless and unconditional love shared btw MG. It was magical, dreamy, heavenly and out of the world. The chemistry was sizzling.
Geet was crazy in this one. Her habit of ordering things online and always getting herself in more trouble making Maan work the double and use home remedies with her smiling cheekily. She is piece. True as Maan said, with her in life, no one can ever get bored. She is a chalta phirta entertainment ki dukaan.
That quote written on washroom door was really funny. Apt for Geet. She truly found someone whom she can annoy for the rest of her life.
I was all smiling throughout the story reading Maan's craziness and going out of way to fulfill all her dreams and wishes. Their love was divine and their journey of 18 years was described very smartly. I could so very well imagine how their journey so far would have been.
You know this story had also made me wonder, is there a story on Maaneet where they are oldies? Like 45+? Full fledged FF? I would surely love to read a story on such a concept where they are old cos usually its shown in the end of every FF in epilogues. But I have never come across a story like your OS where MG are in 40s. Anyways...
Your writing has its own charm. You are one witty writer, your sense of humor is awesome and it has a lot depth behind every scene you write. It either makes me laugh so much that I end up crying always. Or it makes me so sad that again I end up crying always. You are truly blessed.
I hope you will be back soon to update your story regulary cos I so I'm eager to read Binding Ties. Missing that story so much.
Till then thank you for re posting this one. Loved reading it again.
