Handa Haveli :

Geet is busy preparing breakfast while Nakul entered the kitchen. He is surprised as to why geet is doing everything much earlier and when enquired geet replied
Geet : kaka.. Aaj koi guest aane wale hai aur chachiji ne kaha ki breakfast ache se banana aur aaj toh Tuesday hai toh mujhe mandir bhi jaana haina.. Toh socha mandir jaane se pehle hi sab ready kardoon.. Aur main jaldi hi wapas aajaungi warna baad mein tum logon ko meri jaroorat pad gayi toh?! Isliye jaldi bana rahi hoon..
Nakul : Teek hai beta par mujhe bulaya hota madad keliye..
Geet : Arey nahi kaka.. Yeh toh mera roz ka kaam haina aapko kyun takleef doon..
Nakul took the spoon from geet's hands while she is stirring the curry and asked her to get ready for mandir and he will prepare the remaining..
Geet : Arey nahi kaka bas hogaya.. Main bana dungi aap safai ka kaam dekhlijiye..
Nakul : Tum din ba din ziddi bante jaa rahi hoo.. Bhul gayi kaise bachpan mein apni ungliyan chatthi thi mere khana khane ke baad..Safai ka kaam baki log kardenge aur yeh kaam main karloonga tum pehle mandir ho aao..

Geet ( smilingly) : Arey nahi kaka kaise bhul sakti hoon.. Tekh hai aap hi bana dijiyr main mandir jaake aati hoon..
Nakul : Teek hai beta..
Get visited temple, took d Prasad and headed back towards haveli..

Handa Haveli :

Geet entered the kitchen and saw nakul busy setting the dishes for breakfast and in the hurry he dropped a bowl and Geet bend down to take the plate.. That's when she noticed that one of her anklets is missing. She frantically checked the entire kitchen while nakul got worried looking at her.

Nakul: Geet beta.. Kyaa hua?! Kyaa doond rahi ho?!?!

Worry is very much evident in her face..
Geet : Kaka meri payal!!! Meri ek payal nahi hai kaka.. Aap jaanthe hai wo payal maa ki hai.. Patha nahi kaha kho gayi..
Geet is trying to search it everywhere in the kitchen and is almost at the verge of having tears for loosing something which is soo dear to her mother..
Geet : Kaka shayad bahar gir gaya hoga main jaake dekhti hoon.. With out listening to Nakul she ran outside searching for the payal all the way down to the entrance.

Tears are endlessly flowing through her eyes and in a hurry to find her missing anklet she got tripped. when she was about to hit the ground she found someone holding her hand and making her stand. She immediately opened her eyes and saw someone looking at her closely. It is not that lusty gaze which Brij or the other men always give her which scares her, disturbs her make her feel disgusted of herself as to why always she becomes prey of such looks. When she saw in his eyes she got some warm feeling, some concern, some kind of promise as if he is the one who is going to be her savior.
It is neither lust nor love but something else which she couldn't figure out at that stage.
With tears in her eyes when she is busy analyzing his look a strong punch has landed on his face which made him take two steps back and wince in pain. Geet is shocked to see what has happened and before he could get another punch Geet has successfully held the person's hand. But the person just jerked Geet' s hand and held the man's coller
Person : How dare you?!? Teri himmat kaise hui ki tu meri di ka haath pakde.. Aaj main tujhe chodungi nahi kamine..
With this she again raised her hand and before she could give another punch Geet stops her and says
Geet : NT.. Tu hamesha bath baath pe jhagadtgi kyun hai.. Ab dekh kitna maara hai is bechare ko dekh kitna dard mein hai wo.. Arey woh toh mujhe..
NT : dii.. You know nothing about these cheap guys. They just need a chance to get close to innocent girls like you..And you..

She turned towards the man and glaring at him

NT : If at all I find you anywhere near this haveli then let me tell you.. You will regret the day you have crossed my way and then you wont be able to recognize your face in the mirror.. Got it.. Now get lost from here before I change my decision and break your face..
Man : Oyeee.. Mumbai gundi.. What do you think of yourself that you will hit me and I will let you do that!! What did you say that I should not be there anywhere near this haveli.. Then let me tell you I am not going to do any of such things. Infact now I am going to get in and have my breakfast here only.. Tell me what you will do gundi??!!

He said in a tone which is very much irritating to NT..
NT : how dare you call me gundi.. Ab toh main tumhe apna gundigiri dikhake rakhungi..
Before she give him another punch he holds her hand, twists it behind her back and gets his face closer to hers and whispered into her ears
Man : kisi pe haath uthane se pehle doosaron ki poori baath toh sunleni chahiye.. I think your manners are missing and..
Geet : Excuse me.. You saved me and thankful to you but you have no rights to behave like this with my sister.
Man : Lo yeh acha hai.. Ab yeh mujhe maar sakti hai par ulta main unhe kuch bol bhi nahi sakta..
With this he left NT' s hand and cutely pouted making an angry face.. Geet was first surprised and then gave a cute smile seeing his pout and slightly smaked NTs head.
Geet : NT.. Tu abhi ke abhi in se maafi maang..

NT : Why should I?!! Isne aapko rulaya!!! I am going to break his bones..

Geet : NT Tu galat samaj rahi hai!! Woh kya hua na main yaha apni payal doodne aayi thi aur meri pair pisal gayi.. Main girne wali thi toh inhone mujhe bachaya..
NT : kyaaa.. Di aapko chot toh nahi lagi aur aapne ab tak mujhe bataya bhi nahi ki aapka pair pisal gaya.. Chaliye main aapko dawa laga deti hoon..
NT started dragging geet when Dev suddenly spoke
Dev : ohhh.. Hello Miss. Lady Tyson chot unhe nahi muje laga hai.. Dawai ki unhe nahi mujhe zaroorat hai.. Patha nahi kitne daanth toot gaya..
He then came to NT and put his hand around her making a face as if he is in extreme pain. NT just shoved his hand and stomped his feet when he again screamed cursing her and obviously the curses are muffled with his cries..
NT : tum bologe toh main eka aur daanth tod doon..
He got scared and went behind geet and said..
Man : Please mujhe iss Tyson se bachalijiye.. Koi toh mujhe bachayiye.. Koi haii...

He screamed in a dramatic way...
NT : Tum ne phir se mujhe gundi kaha ab toh main tujhe chodungi nahi..
Geet : NT.. Stop it.. You are not going to do anything.. You are getting late for your college.. Go have your breakfast and leave..
NT : par dii..
Geet : NT..
NT : fine.. mujhe nahi karna hai breakfast.. Chalti hoon.

She then turned toward the man and said
NT : tujhe toh main baad mein dekhlungi..
And then again she stomped on his feet and before Geet could scold her she just ran away from there yelling bye to her..
Geet : Wohh I am sorry.. Uski taraf we main maafi maangti hoon.. Actually she is very sweet.. Its just that she loves me so much..
Man : haan dikh raha hai.. Kuch jyaada hi pyaar karti hai aapse..
Geet removes his hand from his face while he was trying to examine his wound.
Geet gives a close look and felt bad for him. There is worry clearly visible in her eyes and asking him all sorts of question whether it is paining him much etc etc..
While he is lost in her and only one word got in his mind
Person(st) : Angel... And I know whose angel you are going to be..
.
Person : Relax senority.. Bade bade deshon mein aisi choti choti baatein hoti rehti hai..
With this he gave her a warm smile which in turn made her smile..

Person : Waise ek baath poochun.. Kya woh payal itni hi keemti hai aapke liye.. I mean maine dekha you were looking worried and in a hurry you got tripped..

Geet : Haan... Woh actually meri maa ki hai..

She said gloomily and again lost in thoughts while Dev said

Dev : Fikar not Senorita.. Joo cheez hamari hai woh jaha bhi ho kisi na kisi tarah hamare paas aajatha hai.. So tumhara payal bhi tumhe jaldi miljayegi. Now give me your beautiful smile..

Geet smiled listening to his words and she felt like believing his each and every word. At the same time she also felt there is much more to his words but she discarded the thought for time being.
Geet : Waise aap kaun?!? Maine aapko pehle kabhi nahi dekha.. Chachaji se Milne aaye hai?!?!
Person : Hello miss I am Dev Singh khurana aur aapke chachaji ne mujhe breakfast keliye invite kiya... Nice meeting you..
With this he forwarded his hand for a shake but she looked skeptical so he calmly folded his hands and said " namaste"
She in turn wished him and before she could speak anything , Dev again started his blaberring
Geet : jii.. Chachaji Ne bataya ki aap aane wale hai..
Dev : ohh toh meri Introduction pehle hi Ki gayi hai aur main soch raha tha ki ek mindblowing intro karloon apni..
He hanged his face down as if he lost his most precious possession and Geet slightly laughed looking at his face and invited him in.
They both entered the haveli and saw Sukhinder and Pammi descending down the stairs. Sukhinder saw Dev standing in the hall way and went to invite him
Sukhinder : Arey Mr.khurana.. Welcome.. I am glad that you accepted my invite..
Dev : No Mr.handa.. I'm glad that you invited me..
Dev said looking at Geet obviously without anyone noticing him..
Sukhinder : Meet my wife pammi and my neice Geet.

pammi : namaste!!
Dev : jii namaste! aur meri aur Geet ki introduction toh bahar hi hogayi.. Kyun Geet!!

Pammi is glaring Geet while Geet was scared even to look at her face and she just nodded her head. Sukhinder understood the tension between then and to divert the topic he asked

Sukhinder : Geet beta khana tayaar haina..
Get : Jii chachaji.. Main abhi nashta lagva deti noon.. Aayiye..
Dev, sukhinder and pammi sat for breakfast while Brij also came and joined them..
Dev observed the discomfort in Geet's face after Brij joined them but didnot react.
Dev : Arey Mr.chawla aap bhi yahi rehte hai.

Brij : Haan Mr.Khurana..

Dev : Yeh kya Mr.Chawla!! Aap kaise apne behen ke ghar mein reh rahe hai.

Pammi got slightly irritated with Dev's question and replied.

Pammi : Kyun nahi Mr.Khurana. Woh apni behen ke ghar main kyun nahi reh sakte.. Aur aapko shayad patha nahi hoga ki aaj hamara business itna develop hua hai toh woh sirf Brij ki wajah se. Toh iske badle woh hamare saath reh raha hai toh isme galat kya hai. Aur waise bhi iska is duniya main mere alawa koi nahi hai.

Brij smirked at Dev after listening to Pammi's answer while Dev doesnot want to get into the bad books of Pammi so he said

Dev : Arey Mrs.Handa aap toh bura maan gayi. Main toh sirf isliye pooch raha tha ki usually maayke waale apne behen ke sasural mein jyaada din nahi rehte na..

Pammi just gave a irritated look to Dev and resumed having breakfast while Sukhinder gave a helpless look to Dev.

Dev just smiled and started eating while observing each and everyone present in the room. He thought now he has to remove the impression he made in Pammi's mind for himself so that his work would be easy.

Dev : Arey aajka breakfast toh bahut hi acha hai. Mrs.Handa I must say jitna khoobsurat aap dikhti hai utni hi khoobsorthi se aap khana bhi banaleti hai.

Pammi blused listening to Dev's praises while Dev gave a satisfactory smile thinking that his work is done in changing Pammi's opinion towards himself.

Sukhinder : Jii.. Actually khana Geet ne banayi hai Pammi ne nahi.

Pammi glared at Sukhinder while Dev smiled looking at Geet who inturn returned his smile by smiling herself.

Dev : Arey Geet!! Why are standing there.. Come and join us. I mean you dont have to be so formal. We can serve ourselves. What say Mr.Handa

Dev want to see the reaction of them when he asks Geet to join them. Till now he is in a misconception that everyone in this house ill treats Geet but after looking at NT he got to know that there are few people who actually supports Geet and he wants to know who all are they.

The moment Dev asked Geet to join there is some kind of fury in Pammi's face and instantly looked at Geet and Sukhinder is having slight smile but there is also some kind of hesistance on his face. While Brij was initially shocked but later resumed his eating as if he has got nothing to do with Geet.

Dev understood that Pammi outrightly dislike Geet and that was confirmed when Sukhinder and Geet looked towards Pammi while she is glaring at Geet. He got to know that Sukhinder has no problem with Geet but he is just hesitating because of his wife.

While Dev is busy analyzing their reactions Nakul kaka came with a tray of coffee and Dev got excited looking at him. But he couldnot show his excitement but decided that he has to talk to Nakul inorder to know what exactly is happening in this house.

So he finished his breakfast early and while Geet is trying to take his plate Dev insisted that he would keep it in the kitchen himself. He said he doesnot want any kind of special treatment when they have invited him at their house and made him their family friend.

He soon went to kitchen while others were busy in having breakfast. He saw Nakul getting things ready for lunch when interrupted him

Dev : Ab toh main aapko taklu bula sakta hoon na kaka..

Nakul was shocked listening to Dev as he was not expecting Dev to talk to him.

Nakul : Jii.. Aap kya kehrahe hai mujhe kuch samaj nahi aaraha hai!!

Dev : Aap itni jaldi kaise bhool sakte hai apne Dev baba ko.

Dev showed his fake angry pout while Nakul was pleasantly surprised. It took him few moments to recognize Dev but as soon as he did Nakul started crying holding Dev's hands while Dev got confused as to why suddenly Nakul got emotional.

Dev : Kaka.. Please sambhaliye apne aapko. Yaha koi nahi jaantha mere baare main ya phir Khuranas aur Handas ke dosti ke baare mein. Lagta hai moti ko bhi kuch yaad nahi hai.

Nakul : Kaise yaad hoga beta jab aap log yaha se chale gaye tab toh woh sirf paanch saal ki thi. Aur yaad rakhne keliye yaad dilane wala bhi toh hona chahiye. Ab toh aap jaan gaye honge bade saab ke baare mein aur..

Dev : Kaka mujhe aapse bahut kuch jaana hai par yaha nahi kahi aur..

Nakul : Dev baba.. Abhi main thodi der baad market jaa raha hoon sabziyan laane.. Aap mujhe wahi mil lijiye..

Dev : Teek hai..

Before Dev could say anything Geet entered kitchen with all the plates while she was surprised looking at Dev talking to Naku.

Geet : Jii.. Aap abhi tak kya kar rahe hai yaha?!

Dev(stammering) : Jii.. Main inse paani maang raha tha aur kuch nahi.. Main chalta hoon..

Geet is perplexed looking at Dev as to what happened to him suddelnly. Dev before moving out of the kitchen looked at Nakul one final time and signalled him that he would wait for him at the market.
