- Hello Readers !!! Well first let me introduce my self even though I am not new to the forum but its been years I have become active in the forum.
I am Mouli and I am back as a writer almost after two years. I wont say this is my first FF as a writer but definetly my first MG FF..
This story is in my mind since so many days and finally I couldnt stop myself from starting this FF
So I hope you support me in this ..
Well here goes the first update.
Part 1
Venue : The Oberoi hotel, Delhi
There is a party going on in the hotel which is supposed to be the most happening party of Delhi because Khuranas are hosting it. Occassion being Khurana Constructions winning the most prestigious award of the year in construction field. Even though Khuranas have set up their business in India only 3 years back but they are always in news with their progress and constantly bagging the best deals and giving good competition to their competitors.
Now the media is eagerly waiting for Khuranas to arrive.
And here comes the most awaiting person for tonight, the person who is actually responsible for Khuranas to bag the award and who actually made KC to reach the topmost position in India within 3 years.
Reporter 1 : Well Guys!! Here comes the MD of Khurana Constructions with his family. Lets see what he has to say for his recent success.
As soon as the person arrives at the venue with his family, the media started pouncing on him with questions. Meanwhile his family has entered the hall leaving him to manage the media.
Reporter 1 : Sir, How does it feel when KC has bagged the most prestigious award?!
Person : Well, obviously its the best news we have got this year. This shows the strength of Khuranas and that nothing is impossible for us.
Reporter 2 : Sir, Dont you think you are being over confident?!
Person : Well, I dont think so. Its just the only confidence we have on ourselves and faith on KC staff because it is them who showed as much confidence on us as we have on ourselves.
In this 3 years KC has faced lots of ups and downs but these people has never lost faith in us and on the company. It is due to them only we are now able to reach this position. So why should I fear when I have such an efficient and loyal staff.
Reporter 3 : Sir, Can you explain us about your new projects and also about your overseas business...
Person : Guys, Can we please stop this interview regarding KC because this party is not some business launch party or a party for signing some deal. This is a private party to celebrate the success of KC with our family, friends and offcourse our staff. So guys please excuse us..
Reporter 4 : Sir, one last question obviously not about KC. Sir, we all know that you party a lot and obviously famous among girls of Delhi and probably India. So when can we expect you to attend such parties with your partner because all the time we find you only with your friends. When the Khuranas proudly introduce their Daughter - in - law to the world because now you have become one of the most eligible bachelors of this country.
The person suddenly laughs and says
Person : Well guys I think you have to wait a little more because DEV SINGH KHURANA is very much single and waiting for his soulmate to make her entry into his life.
But don't worry If at all I fall in love you guys will be getting the news much before my family knows about it because few things can be hidden in dark but nothing can be hidden from media.
With this statement he winks at them and enters the party hall making everyone to smile with his statement and admire his style of living the life as if it is the last day of it.
He is the person who takes life as it comes and who knows how to enjoy his life to the full even when there is pressure of running one of the most successfull companies of the country.It is his this attitude which made people to admire him and No doubt he has become the King of many girl's heart in this short span of time with his amazing attitude
He is DEV SINGH KHURANA.. MD of KHURANA CONSTRUCTIONS.

Venue : Khurana Mansion, Delhi
When Dev came back from the party, he saw study room lights on. He knows who can be there at this time but he doesnt know why he is there as there is no upcoming meeting tomorrow.
He slowly opened the door and found his dad lost in some deep thoughts. He called his dad twice and upon receiving no response he slowly approached him and put his hand on his shoulder.
His dad slowly turned towards him and Dev found him silently shedding tears. He for a second got shocked and then alarmed as to why his dad has suddenly became sad when it was the moment to celebrate the success.
Dev : Dad, What happened to you?! I had been observing you the moment I entered the party hall .You were all the while looking so lost. Its like you are there with us but your mind is somewhere else.. Please dad tell me what is troubling. Did I do anything wrong Or you want me to call..
Just then Yash Singh Khurana, the person who has actually set up Khurana construction, slowly takes Dev's hands in his and looks at him with pride
Yash : Dev, I always know that you have the potential to run KC and make it to great heights. I never ever had any doubt on my son's capability. I know my son can do anything and everything.
Dev : Then what is it dad?!
Yash : Its just that I have heard the reporter's question regarding Khurana DIL..
Before Yash could say anything else, Dev interrupted him.
Dev : Ohh God Dad!!!! U have actually scared me.. Now dont tell me that you were crying because you forgot to get me married by now. Its OK dad I am not feeling bad that in enjoying your life after retirement you have actually forgot to get your son married. I seriously dont mind dad. Moreover I dont want to get married this soon and lose my freedom. Who knows after you get your DIL you may lose your son because I heard wives never share their husbands with anyone so it would only be your loss if you get me married.
Yash laughs with his statement. He knows only dev has the ability to change the tensed atmosphere into a jovial one.
But then again he starts getting lost in his thoughts.
Dev observes this and understands that the situation is more serious than he thinks.
Dev : Dad tell me what is troubling you!!
Yash takes a deep breath and explains him about the promise he made to Mohinder when he(yash) was leaving India.
After listening to his dad Dev decides what he has to do.
Dev : Dad, If I am not wrong are they same HANDAs who stay in Mumbai.
Yash gets surprised that how Dev knows about HANDAs.
Yash : Yes, But how do you know?!! By the way You still remember them??!!
Dev : Offcourse Dad I remember them and mostly how can I forget that moti..
Oh God!!! I never thought they would be the same HANDAs. It would really be fun when we meet them what say dad!! Well dad I think your one problem is solved ... With this Dev gives a mischievous smile.
Yash : What problem?!
Dev : About getting your DIL!!!
Still yash is clueless about what Dev is blabbering and looking at his confused state
Dev speaks..
Dev : Dad we have recently signed a deal with Handas. Sorry I forgot to inform you as I was busy with some ongoing projects. The project is not that big so I have asked our Mumbai branch to take care of it and I can just go for inspection once in a month. Now I have decided that I myself will go there and take care of the project.
But you have to do me a favour ..
Yash : What?!!
Dev : Well dad talk to Mohinder uncle and somehow make me stay in their haveli rather than our guest house. Then only I can study your to be DIL and prepare a report on whether she is eligible to become Khurana bahu or not.
With this he winks at Yash who inturn smacked his head for taking everything so lightly.
Yash : Dev, Dont forget who she is going to be no matter what!!! Whatever you say but my heart says that she is the right one for my son. About you staying in Handa haveli, then I am not sure whether I can do that because now its Mohinder's brother and his brother in law who is taking care of his business after Mohinder's death. That time I just new Mohinder has a brother but never met him as he used stay in village.
Dev was first shocked to know that his Mohinder uncle is no more after coming out of shock he spoke
Dev : Dad Mohinder uncle is dead and we have no idea about it!!
Yash sighed in sad state and even Dev sounded depressed but then he again said what he has been thinking from the time Yash told him about his promise.
Dev : But dad its been years since we have seen her. So how can u be so sure that she is the right one.
Yash : Dev, From what I have heard she is being ill treated in her own house after Mohinder's death. A girl who takes any kind of insult with immense patience and loves others irrespective of how they treat her, I know no one is more eligible than her. Dev, she has faced lots of troubles in her life and I dont want her to suffer anymore. This is the least I could do for my friend because of whom I could set up this empire. He is the one who actually supported me not just financially but also emotionally. He is the one who showed faith in me when I was not in a position to trust myself. And moreover I had promised him while leaving the country that I will make his daughter as my daughter in law and I am going to fulfill my word.
Dev : It is all fine dad But how did you manage to get the information in this short time.
Yash smirked listening to Dev's words and spoke
Yash : Dev beta!! Dont forget that I am your father and even though I have retired from business I am still in form and has the power to retrieve any sort of information from anyone at anytime.
Dev : Yeah Yeah!! How can I forget that you are THE YASH SINGH KHURANA.. founder of KC..
Dev laughs saying this but suddenly stops when Yash starts speaking again
Yash : But I still couldnt understand how in this busy life I have forgot the promise i made to my friend. That is why I was upset and crying that how could I forget my friend and just be happy in my life with my family when his daughter was all the while suffering there.
Dev kneels down and takes his dad's hand into his and speaks
Dev : Dad.. You trust me right??!!
Seeing Yash nodding his head, he continues
Dev : I promise you dad If I find her as how you say she would be then I will fullfill your wish. She will become the daughter in law of this house..
Yash : But you know..
Dev : Dad!!! Trust me!!!
With this he gets up and gives a determined look..
Dev : GEET HANDA... be ready because DEV SINGH KHURANA is coming all the way to Mumbai to make you Khurana bahu..

I seriously dont have enough time even to read FFs and comment but here I am starting my own FF..
I cannot promise you of updating regularly like other writers but I surely try to give a big update each teime and that would be once in two weeks
I badly need your support to continue this FF and its only your comments and likes which can give me that..
If I am satisfied with the likes and comments I may post a teaser very soon..
