Part 59

Geet got up and freshened up for her special day, her heart was so excited, "Baba ji, make everything go well, please" Geet prayed as she was drying her hair, "Geet", Dadi maa's voice made her turn around and Geet smiled up as she saw a gang of ladies and they were carrying a big Thali filled with jewels, "Dadi Maa" Geet saw her and touched her feet, "Always be happy" Dadi maa blessed,

"Geet can't believe, Maan's getting Married, finally my long term wish is gonna come true" Dadi maa said and Geet felt so touched, "and Geet, this is all yours, our family jewels, it's given to our first daughter-in-law," Dadi maa said and Geet hugged her up, "Geet, keep it all safely" Dadi maa said and Geet nodded an yes, "Get ready Geet, I have arranged for a spa treatment here even, I will send Nakul to call you when those girls from beauty parlor comes up" Dadi maa said and Geet nodded up,

Dadi maa the turned and walked up but stopped and turned to Geet, "Geet, your brother, did you talk to him, Maan said he is stuck in London" Dadi maa asked making Geet tremble up, "No Dadi maa" Geet said shivering up, "Ok, you don't worry, I will talk to him personally when he comes back and before that if you get him on the phone, just call me up, ok" Dadi maa said and Geet nodded up, Dadi maa then went away and Geet locked her room up and went and stood near the window,

Geet suddenly blushed up as she saw Maan there, standing there and watching her, "Maan" Geet smiled blushing up and Maan was smiling up standing there, his naughty sweet grin made Geet blush up high, they both stood there looking at each other and Maan started to walk towards her window, Maan went and stood near the window leaning on to the window frame, "Hmmm, from today you will be officially mine," Maan said with a grin, "Maan, I am always yours," Geet said blushing more,

"Maan, I feel something strange inside my heart, like something is gonna happen" Geet said feeling tensed suddenly, "Yes, something is gonna happen" Maan said shocking Geet and Geet looked at him puzzled, "Our engagement" Maan said with a grin, "Maan, I am serious" Geet said and Maan's face too turned a bit serious, "Breej" Maan asked and Geet nodded an yes, "Maan, I was trying to call him and he is not attending the call, at all, and more than that, when ever Dadi maa asks about him, I had to lie something and it feels like cheating her up and I am feeling guilty," Geet said,

Maan then Hover up and jumped inside the room through the window and hugged Geet up, "Geet, relax," Maan said holding her tight, "Breej is safe and maybe he is busy or resting up and so not taking your call and Dadi maa, don't feel any guilty regarding it, if someone has to be guilty I am the one, I am the one hiding the facts from her, and I will keep on hiding it, for her happiness, for that whatever punishment the lord gives I will accept" Maan said and Geet pulled from him,

Geet looked into Maan's face, "what are you, how could you bare every blame on you for others happiness," Geet asked as her eyes filled up, "others, Geet, I am not doing it for others, I am doing it for my life to be happy and for my life to be happy, I need you, Dadi maa, Dev and Annie to be happy, you guys make my life, for your happiness I can do anything" Maan said and Geet smiled and Kissed him on his cheeks, "Ok Geet, you get ready, I have some important work to be dealt with, Adi will be here now, ok, see you in the evening, you just relax and enjoy" Maan said and Geet nodded and the Maan went away,

"Annie, Annie" Maan said and cut the call, "What happened bro," Dev asked with a grin, "Annie, she is so upset that I refused her to come down for my engagement," Maan said, "Bro, she is your pet na, she would be feeling upset," Dev said, "Dev but her exams, it's just an engagement right, not an marriage, ok Dev, I will call her and try to convince her," Maan said and Dev nodded up, and Maan went away, "Dev sir, we need this list of items for tonight dinner preparations, can we go" Nakul said,

"Nakul Dada, if you go who will cook here, I need you to cook here for our guests, you give that list and start cooking the lunch up for everyone here, I will go and get it up" Dev said and got the list from Nakul and went up,

Dev came out of the super market and called Meera up, "Meera, where are you, Dadi maa is waiting for you in the Mansion, if you are ready I will come and pick you up," Dev said as he heard Meera's voice, "Dev no, I am already on the way, where are you," Meera asked, "Near highway park" Dev said, "ok Wait for me there, I will come up," Meera said and Dev nodded up, he locked his car and went into the park, and sat on the bench under a tree, waiting for Meera,

After five minutes or so, "Dev Khurana" an voice made Dev to turn around to see an well build guy equal to Maan's age standing with a smile, "Yes," Dev said as he stood up and the guy suddenly hugged him up shocking Dev, "My god, you are so grown up, thought I would never see you again, you are ok right, everything is fine right" he asked as he pulled from Dev making him puzzled, "I am fine, but who are you," Dev asked confused,

"I am Vikram, Vikram Singh Rathore, a very close family friend of yours" He said making Dev puzzle up more, "Family friend, but I had never seen you in any of my family functions" Dev said and Vikram turned sad, "how will you because we are not invited anymore in to your functions after Maan took up the first place in your family" Vikram said and Dev felt something is wrong and stepped back, "Bro, Bro wouldn't do like that without any reason" Dev said defending Maan,

"Sure, sure, he has an reason, he has an reason because we are so close to your family that your grand dad had said everything to us, everything, we were your business partners too" Vikram said, "wait, you are confusing, if you are that close and our business partners, then why would Bro keep you away from us" Dev asked, "Oh Dev you are still innocent, or else would you believe someone this blindly who is not even your blood relation," Vikram said shocking Dev,

"you know, how" Dev asked shocked, "I told you Dev, I know everything about your family, when your Grand dad took the decision to adopt Maan, me and my dad only asked him to give Maan proper education before he take up the responsibility, and Maan was so good at that time but later when he took up the properties, his behavior changed, and me and my dad had second thoughts of adopting him, but your grand dad was so blindly in love with him" Vikram said,

"And that's when Maan started to pull your grand dad from us and started cancelling our deals with him and when he said he is going to write up all the properties in Maan's name, we were shocked, me and my dad tried our best to convince him, that it's not right, but you grand dad was stubborn and after he officially announced Maan as his next hire, Maan killed him," Vikram said with tears in his eyes,

"Enough, what the hell are you speaking" Dev stopped him in anger, "I am speaking the truth, I was in abroad till now, just now came to India and after know what all Maan had done with your family name, how he had misused your family's name, I couldn't hold myself and I decided to see your brother but I saw you walking into the park and thus I came to speak to you" Vikram said holding Dev's shoulders, Dev pushed his hands away and looked at him irritated, "Dev try to understand, Maan is not an good guy" Vikram said, and Dev turned away,

"Listen, do you remember, how your Grandfather died and when, after one week of the announcement party, where he announced Maan as his next hire, and how, in a car accident, when he went with Maan, your Grandfather died and Nothing happened to Maan who went with him, not even a scratch, can you believe it" Vikram said making Dev feel an nervousness, "Think Dev, Think, think everything that happened, Maan always wanted to keep you and your sister away from everything,"

"thus, he made you and your sister to study in an boarding school, then send you abroad, he didn't want you to come here, he wanted to keep you away from the business and his underground works he is doing with your family name," Vikram said and Dev looked at him shocked, "underground business" Dev asked, "yes, you know how he is called, the "King Of Dons"" Vikram said, "no," Dev said looking at Vikram, who was holding his shoulder, "Dev, I am telling you the truth"

"when I found this out, I went to CID as I had an friend there to stop Maan, and as I went there I found out they already are trying to catch him and also send an secret agent to capture him, Geet" he said shocking Dev more, "What, Geet," Dev asked shocked, "Yes Geet, Geet is an agent but they were so upset that Maan somehow brain washed her and convinced to marry him," Vikram said, "Dev I know it's hard to believe but try to think, I can't see this anymore, here, this is my card, just call me if you need anything and don't say this to Maan, he won't like it" Vikram said,

Dev felt his head spinning around, he looked at Vikram and got the card from him, "Dev," an familiar voice came up, and Dev looked at Breej shocked, "Ranveer" Dev said, "No, I am not Ranveer, I am CID inspector Breej, we were all acting up to catch up MSK, and I wasn't suppose to say this out but looks like the situation is going out of hand, Geet suddenly switched side, and also Vikram sir was so pleading us, so only I am telling this to you, what Vikram sir said is true," Breej said and Dev sat up on the beach shocked, he felt like his world breaking up,

"Dev, I know it's all so shocking and it's too much to handle, but I didn't want to delay anymore, think up, I will give you time, call me as soon as possible, ok, don't you ever feel alone, I am there for you," Vikram said as he caressed Dev's head, "Breej, please give him some time" Vikram said, and they both bid an good bye and went away, leaving Dev alone, Dev felt his ground parting up, Vikram's words was echoing up, suddenly he stood up and walked away from there,

It turned night, "Hey Geet" Meera voice was bright when she came inside where Geet was getting ready, "Meera, you are so pretty in saree" Geet said with a big smile, "not as pretty as you, no wonder Maan had fallen for you" Meera said with an big grin, "Meera, did Dev came home" Geet asked and Meera nodded a no, "he didn't come home nor taking my call, but just messaged me, that he will come to the party for sure, don't know what happened to him suddenly" Meera said worried,

"Meera, Dev will come up, don't worry" Geet said and Meera nodded up, "Ok, Geet you carry on, I will go and help Dadi maa" Meera said and went away, Geet was feeling abit tensed, she was ready feeling guilty thought Maan convinced her a million times, but seeing the love of this family she was feeling hurt, as her makeup was over, Geet went searching for Maan, as she didn't find him, she messaged him to come to the roof hall, and waited there, something was not seeming good,

Geet was looking confused when she found an comforting hold on her shoulders, "Maan" Geet said, "Maan, I am scared, something is not right" Geet said and Maan smiled up, "everything is right Geet, relax" Maan said, and he understood her mind and then turned her to face him, "Geet, you are feeling bad because we are hiding the truth, but you know what will happen when we tell the truth to Dadi maa, she will be devastated, can you see that, or bare that pain and if something happened to her" Maan said and Geet looked at him unable to think of what he is saying,

"And Dev, he is still young, when the time comes I will tell him everything, when I think he is ready" Maan said and Geet nodded, Maan held her shoulder and moved her a bit away into the moon light, "Geet, we didn't choose this life, we were given this life, now we had to accept it, I am Khurana, Maan Singh Khurana, this is my identity and you will be Geet, my Geet, this is the truth, there is no lies in this"

"This is my family, this is my Dadi maa, my brother and my sister and now you will be my wife, this is the truth now, that young guy you know from that village is no more Geet, I am an Khurana and I had accepted it as my destiny, now you too accept it Geet," Maan said, "No" Dev voice came up out loud and Maan and Geet frozen up and looked up, Dev walked from the shadow to light, "No," he said again strongly, and Maan and Geet turned around towards him,

"You are not an Khurana, you are not my brother, you never were, you never thought us as your family" Dev yelled up and throw an bunch of papers before Maan's face, and Maan got shocked looked at those papers and Maan knew that Dev knew everything but how much was the question in his heart, Geet was shocked at Dev's behavior and saw the Maan's tensed face and stood there frozen up,

Precap: The whole mansion was filled with guests and media and most of the VIPs in India, were in the party waiting for Maan and Geet to come down, Vikram and Breej both stood there in disguise to see the fun that's gonna happen, "Good Evening, Ladies and Gentleman, presenting you the On-To-Be Groom Mr.Maan Singh Khurana and On-to-Be Bride Ms.Geet Handa" Adi said waving his hand on to the top of the stairs and an bright spot light shined at the start of the stairs, but everyone got shocked when they saw Dev standing there instead of Maan and Geet, (next update on Thursday )
