wonderful update..a princess tale..

that was the last meeting with him and now a leap...he does not seem to be the prince the way he said about thorny path..wonder how they will meet again.

Part # 3

Things were getting tough for us with the neighbouring Kingdom getting stronger n with the lack of rains.. people were living under constant fear with each threat we received to give away our land!

With the King's falling health there was a certain uncertainty raised every were. . Though mother wanted to search for a groom n handover the kingdom to him my father didn't want to take decision in haste... as it may prove to be dangerous both for me and his people. ...

So it was decided with a little bit of training on the very next auspicious day I will be taking the raisins of the kingdom in my hands!

One such day when I was returning from my training after meeting with our Guruji in the thick woods I saw someone was attacked n was badly hurt!

I with my men immediately reached to rescue n fought with them..on turning to see wether he was ok or not I found him unconscious on the ground ...I knelt becide him to check wether there were any major injuries. . As I turned his face a gasp escaped my lips!

It was him!

For a moment my heart froze but then quickly composing my self I asked my guards to take him to Guruji's place where he could get proper treatment!!

For some reason they were a little apprehensive but then they couldn't ignore my orders. .so they reached the ashram n I asked Guruji to treat him!

After treatment Guruji sounded a bit disturbed! n he asked me to meet him alone. . So I followed him on reaching a scheduled place he enquired me about how I know him n all to which I narrated how I saw him attacked n we helped. ..

He sounded convinced but sill I couldn't ignore his worry. . On probing further. . I came to know whom I saved n what I've gotten myself into!

He was Maanveer Singh Khurana! King of our neighbourhood kingdom! The root cause of all our problems!

Walking towards his tent lost in our previous encounters in that market which was far end of our land n the temple it connected our both kingdom's .. so he knew me bout how much was the question!

N me giving him shelter how will my people react! But then I know even if it's our enemy we it isn't right to leave a wounded n helpless person to die... Though this act of mine could rise doubts but I was determined come what may I will face it!

As I stepped into his tent I signaled everyone to leave us alone n now I was with him after nearly 2 years he looked even more handsome. . As he turned towards me I could see the distance between us. .. which blurred my vision. .

He extended his hand to me to reach him..

As I gave him my hand he pulled me towards him n hugged me tightly!consoling me as I let my tears flow..

He lifted my face wiping my tears loking at me with so much affection. .

So now u know me!

That wasn't a question but a statement! I couldn't help but nod looking down. .

Do u know me ?? I asked slowly getting afraid to hear a yes

To which he noded with a small smile. .

A scared tigress n a beautiful dream!

I know he was referring to our previous encounters. .which brought smile on my face. .

Princess Geetanjali Handa! Now to be Queen .. he finished proudly. .tightening his hold around me..

beautiful update...so he is the prince, but from enemy kingdom..

the enmity can end by extending the hands...its tough though when it is about the people and pride of the kingdom...
