Maan's phone started ringing. As his eyes fell on the intruder, his shoulders hunched up, tensed and worried.
I... Sorry umm the call is important... I will be right backHis eye brows creased with worry as he walked away. He had a talk with the manager, while sending a soothing smile her way.
Do you guys by any chance have any sort of umm... Entertainment? Maan asked hesitantly. The Manager looked at him quizically.
What do you mean by 'entertainment'?Maan was flabbergasted. How dare this manager think low of him? He bit his tongue to hold back his retort.
You see my fiance will get bored sitting alone as I am going to get busy with a business call... For atleast an hour... I dont want her to feel lonely... So umm?Maan clarified. The manager tensed up, his mind whirling with ideas to entertain the wealthy business tycoon's fiance. That's when he found Nina making her way up to them. She was a wierd woman, he thought. She always visited the restaurant. Sitting by the window seat, she gazes into oblivion. Sometimes reading a heavy old book and whispering to herself. Sometimes she herself requested to entertain few couples with her talent, the manager thought recalling about Nina. They didn't have any problem as she did it free of cost and then like poof, she would vanish for days. Moreover some of her clients would tip them due to her service. She would always smile at him whenever he offered money and then deny it. His train of thoughts were broken as Nina made her presence known.
Maan stared at Nina suspiciously as the manager introduced her. She requested to entertain Geet while he was away.
Do not try any voodoo stuff and do not mess with her... Or else you won't know what hit youMaan threatened her.
She doesn't do voodoo... Its just card reading sirThe manager assured him. Maan finally nodded his approval and the other two walked towards Geet. His eyes darted towards her. He couldn't help but feel a sense of protectiveness. Months of hatred, a wall he had built around his heart in her absence. Yet they crumbled into nothing as he crept his way into her life. He felt his love increase ten-fold feeling her resistance towards him. He wanted the resentment she felt--
His phone rang again breaking his trance. It was Adi. He understood those notorious bas***ds Anil and Sameer were troubling the office staff again. He was getting fed up with the two. He had had enough. He ordered Adi to stall the police for one more day. He cut the call as he noticed Geet relaxing a bit around Nina. He was happy, she wasn't brooding in the past anymore, atleast for time being. His eyes remained on her throughout the calls. He got a call from his detective. That alerted him. He picked it at one ring.
Sir
Khan... Any news?
There is someone else involved. We haven't got any lead... He is remainin covered always. Do you suspect any other family member?
Maan was silent processing the info. Who could it be, he thought hard racking his memory for any face any clue. None.
I dont think so I know any...
Its alright sir... We are close to getting him anyway... Uh one more thing sir. Maan was agitated now with his reluctance.
You are being followed... My men are at a distance to allow you privacy... It seems they are some local goons..Khan informed. Maan wasn't shocked a bit. He knew only two persons could pull such cheap trick.
Tell your men to follow me closely as soon as we exit the restaurant... Are my family members covered and protected in Dubai?Maan ordered then asked hesitantly.
UhhMaan fumbled a bit how to bring about Vicky's parents.
The addition doesnt matter Sir... They are well covered. Vicky sir is in contact with us 24x7Maan heaved a sigh of relief asking him to be extra vigilant from now on. He cut the call looking at Geet. He didn't know why but just by looking at her face, gave him endurance to go through anything.
He saw Nina walking away. He immediately power walked to her. Geet still pondered on her words as Maan wounded his arms around her shoulders tucking her closer.
Are you okay?He kissed her forehead. Geet nodded slowly, her mind still stuck on just let go'. They moved apart when the waiter cleared his throat, placing their orders on the table. They began eating without much fuss.
Soo?Geet drew out wanting to get some information from him. Maan played out dumb
So What?Have Vicky and Daadi landed?
YesHe answered gruffly.
Where?
I don't knowMaan answered discreetly but he didn't want to pressurize her with more information.
And Vicky's parents? They didn't come to meet me...She gulped the lump in her throat looking at him meekly. Maan scooted closer to her squeezing her thigh as he nestled his head in the crook of her neck. He wanted her comfort... Now that he knew someone else was involved he was nervous. He had the gut feeling that a storm was coming their way to tear them apart. He couldn't stop the restlessness of not knowing. He squeezed her closer seeking the comfort and warmth of the woman he loved since his teen, even though he knew she wouldn't do it willingly. He distracted her
I didn't know they were here...He murmured into her neck.
Umm...Clearly she was getting affected with his proximity.
And...She said slowly trying to distract herself.
I would have let you meet them... I know you adore them He said showering her neck and collarbone with feather light kisses and few love bites here and there.
Ohh She moaned arching her back, placing her hand over his, on her thigh to stop the torturous movements. Maan realized they were gaining too much attention.
Lets go...His face was hardened as he drew back while Geet still gasping due to the hum of pleasure throbbing in her body.
He looked at her plate
You didn't eat anything He stated furiously. She fumbled.
I.. Uhh She raised her hand to pick the spoon. He squatted her hand away.
Shut up and eat He fed her and she felt like a little girl getting scolded by her mother. She looked into his eyes opening her mouth again as he fed her. The fire blaze in his eyes, she wanted to ease them out even though there was the risk of her getting consumed. She placed her hand on his cheek too unaware of the world around her. His eyes softened. She was slowly letting go.
***She didn't want to fight with him now.No!He groaned frustratingly. He gulped seeing her pointed stare face-palming himself. Uhh.. Oh Lets eat GeetHe flicked her nose wanting to change the subject. Fine but you are not getting away with itShe warned walking away. He stared at her back getting aroused with her slow sway of hips and her short shorts hid nothing to his imagination. He squeezed his legs to subdue his arousal as he heard her bellowing his name angrily. He gulped nervously as he sat by her eating quietly trying to avoid any confrontation with her.
They settled in their room after the brunch. Angrily she refused to look at him. It was torture for him. He could bear anything from her but not her upset with him. He held her hand drawing circles over her palm. I...He gulped. He was about to open up to his girl. What was he fearing anyway? Yeah Man pride, Geet thought sarcastically. I can't face him... I am hurt Geet... He had hit me infront of youHe had his head in her lap , hiding his face in her stomachIt was humiliating... And I am ashamed... To face him after..Geet sucked in her breath.After... What I did to you... I need time..He looked into her eyesI promise you though, I will go back when I am ready..Geet smiled at him. He pecked on her forehead. There was a glum look on her face. He didn't like her to be so silent. He knew she won't understand why and what he did due to her immaturity but surprisingly she did. Although a bit, but she did. He was proud of her. He respected her wishes. If she wanted him to return then he would. But the sad look on her face left him unsettled. Maan wanted to cheer her upNow now... I told you to learn somethingHe spoke sternly. Geet gulpedI am not going to hit or fight youShe wanted to appear determined but her voice wavered and came out as a squeak. He smirked at her dragging her to the gym. After this we are going to discuss about your studiesHe stated. Geet gulped. When he took up his 'mother hen' role for her he was more than scary for her- well that left her hyperventilating around him.
Pick your weaponHe instructed. She swore for revenge in her mind. Mouthing an angry 'I-will-get-back-to-you' to him, she went to pick a weapon. There was a pen-knife, a knife, a gun, bow n arrow. She slowly went to pick the gun. He held her hand directing her towards the pen-knife. Remember the mantra- the smallest, the deadliestHe said. Geet nodded meekly. Let's startHe smiled smugly at her.
*** Maanu, Rahul and Vikash had just arrived at KM for Maan-Geet's engagement party. Throughout the journey, Rahul had tried Maanu to talk her out of it. As angry and hurt Maanu was, she outrightly denied to even listen to him. All he could do was seeth in anger and glare at a smug looking Vikash.
As they headed inside, they heard voices- Maan and Geet arguing. Vikash couldn't help but smirk while Maanu was grim-faced and Rahul tensed.
You won't hug me... You won't kiss me... Don't you love me anymore?Geet almost cried.
Maan clenched his fist. You know it Geet... Why am I not able to do it... I am not in my control anymore around you... He said , his voice strained.
Then don't fight it Maan... PleaseShe cried filling herself forcefully in his arms. Maan finally relented hugging her sobbing form.
I don't want you losing your virginity before marriage. It is as precious to you as it is to me.He was in pain, revelling in her pain. His arms wound around her tightly sliding inside her shirt slowly drawing circles on her lower back. His hand slowly travelled up as he was lost in her hair, inhaling her delicious aroma like an addict. He unclasped her bra. Geet gasped and Maan pulled his hand out suddenly. Running his hand through his hair, she knew he was agitated. Please don't torture me like this Geet... Don't torture yourself like this.He pleaded her. So you think its cool to get drunk and locked up in your roomGeet shouted but then calmed down. She hissed pushing his buttons in the right place If you can't control yourself, then its your problem Maan... If you won't love I will grab the next man available- Maan cut her offDon't you dareHe threatened darkly, possessiveness oozing out of his stance. She gave him a sly smile as he attacked her lips consuming her in a heated, passionate kiss rendering her brain blank.
As they eavesdropped, they could hear the sounds of smooches and ripping of clothes. Maanu turned away as Rahul almost gagged. Vikash was silent as evil plans formed in his mind. Rahul cringed away seeing the smirk on his face. Vikash knew that Rahul won't touch Geet even if he agreed to. Geet's statement just gave him the idea to start the destruction. They walked away as they heard Maan huffing as if trying to control. Geet... You sly vixen.. You did that on purposeMaan teased trying to not stare at their southern region. It was hard to control but he did. How much she may try, he was determined to not lose it. I didGeet spoke coyly biting his lip. He fondled her breasts expertly shutting her up and stopping her brain to overwork- from pulling any more such stunts to work him up. As such he was hanging his control on a loose thin strand. Tomorrow we will be engaged Geet!Maan spoke loving the instantaneous blush appearing on her cheeks as her brain refused to form any coherent thoughts and her body did its work.
