The Lost Song

Chapter 6

Geet was in her cabin, thinking about her life, how everything had changed in these five years, the man who loved her more than anything else in this world, the love which made everyone jealous of her, the life everyone curved to have once, everything had changed, now she can see only hurt and hate in those love filled eyes and his life is now happy without her, Geet wiped the tears that was flowing up from her eyes,

Suddenly she heard a knock on her door, and Geet straightened up, "Mrs.Geet," Nandhini said as she came in, "come on, office hours over, now let's go home," Nandhini said with a smile, "but Nandhini, boss," Geet asked, "OH, Mr.Arnav said, Boss said he will finish the meeting with the ministry and go home directly," Nandhini said and Geet nodded and took her bag and went with her,

"Mrs.Geet," Nandhini called, "Nandhini, stop calling me Mrs.Geet, you can better call me Geet," she said and Nandhini looked at her, "that will not be respectful, I will call you as, Geet didi, ok," Nandhini said, and Geet smiled and nodded, and Nandhini was talking about her work and about Arnav, Geet felt that Nandhini likes him and she smiled, once Geet too was talking only about Maan, with others and also to herself, those days were wonderful,

Geet and Nandhini reached their house, "Ok Geet didi, today I will cook, what do you like to have," Nandhini asked, "Nandhini, I am not feeling hungry," Geet said, "What, but," Nandhini started, "Please Nandhini, I am feeling tired, sorry, ok, good night," Geet said and Nandhini nodded, "Ok, Good night," Nandhini wished and Geet went to her room, and had an long warm bath,

He don't know whether to feeling happy or sad or anger, he was so lost now, he came out and changed up, and walked out to his Dadi maa's room, but she was not there, and Maan then went down, "Dadi maa," Maan called and she came up from the kitchen,

"Dadi maa what are you doing," Maan asked looking at her, "Preparing dinner," Dadi maa said, "what happened to the workers," Maan yelled up, "Maan, relax, I felt like cooking so I went to cook, why I shouldn't do what I like ah," Dadi maa asked, "Dadi maa, you can do anything you want but doctor had told you not to stand for a long time na, then" Maan asked, "Oh, Maan and your doctor, stop worrying about me, I am perfectly alright,"

Maan shook his head knowing he could never win an argument with his Dadi maa, "ok, well did Sana called," Maan asked, "Yes, she called and said she is safe, and she is strong than I thought Maan," Dadi maa said, "ok Maan, come on lets have dinner, I made you your favorites" Dadi maa said and Maan nodded and went with her, the night went well.

Next day morning when Geet and Nandhini entered the office and saw Arnav speaking with someone, "Good morning," Nandhini smiled big at him, and Geet too wished him, "Good morning Ms.Nandhini and Good Morning Mrs.Geet" he wished back, "Mrs.Geet," Arnav said, "Please call me Geet," Geet said and he nodded, "Ok, Geet, Maan sir went to the site, but his two staffs from Delhi is working in the conference room," Arnav said,

"What, Adi sir and Pinky came," Geet said and she felt an massive happiness, and both Arnav and Nandhini looked at Geet puzzled, "Ok, thank you," Geet said and rushed away, "did she know them already," Arnav asked Nandhini and she nodded a don't know, Geet went to the conference room and saw Adi and Pinky sitting there working on something, "Adi sir, Pinky," Geet said as she rushed in,

Adi and Pinky turned around and looked at Geet, "Geet," Adi went near her and Geet hugged him and her tears said how much she missed him, and she looked at Pinky who was standing away filled with tears and yet with a anger, "Pinky," Geet said pulling from Adi, "Adi sir, I don't want to talk to her, ask her to stay away from me," Pinky said with her childish voice, "Pinky, won't you forgive your friend," Geet asked and Adi left the two girl alone and went away,

"Friend, you are not my friend, or else you would not have done such things, how much Maan sir loved you, he changed himself for you, just for you, he was ready to do anything for you, but you, and Dev," she said crying up, "Pinky you too believe that I did those things, don't you know how much I loved Maan and don't you know how much I liked Dev, you think I could do such a thing to them" Geet asked crying up,

"Really, then where did you go after that, why didn't you come back and" Pinky saw her neck, "And you are married and living an life happily, when Maan sir was burning inside out, do you know how he was, after you were gone," Pinky said crying up, "if I had know this is want you are going to do to him, I would, not have helped you, Sasha is better than you Geet," Pinky yelled out,

"Enough Pinky," Geet said and Pinky looked at her, "Ok, now why did you come back, you have an life na, then, why don't you leave him alone," Pinky asked, "Pinky, enough, what life are you speaking about, I don't have an life without him, this mangalsutra in my neck, is given by Maan, Maan is my husband" Geet said and Pinky looked shocked confused, "What, Maan sir, you got marriage, when, how" Pinky asked shocked,

Geet wiped her tears away, "Five year back, do you remember me, Maan, Dev going to Shimla," Geet asked and Pinky nodded a yes, and Geet closed her eyes and looked at the late night five year back, yet so fresh and clean in her mind,

Before Five year, in Shimla,
Geet wanted to see the lake at the midnight, in its slight frozen state in that chill whether, when it's frozen, Maan said no but Geet compelled him and he finally said an ok and at 2.30 Maan and Geet started to the lake, and it was an beautiful sight, though it made her shiver from top to bottom, the lake view was so beautiful,

The lake water was still and slightly frozen and the moon light falling on the ice surface making it look like heaven, Geet jumped up seeing it and Maan smiled seeing her craziness, "Maan it was like heaven Maan, it' so beautiful," Geet said, and after half an hour of her jumping and running, "Geet, enough, let's get back," Maan said, "Maan few more minutes," Geet asked, "No Geet, you will get cold, come on," Maan said and Geet nodded and went with him,

And Maan and Geet walked up to reach their car which Maan parked on the road, and as they sat up and started the car, the car turned dead, "what the hell," Maan said and got down and so as Geet, and Maan looked at the engine and Geet stood there freezing up."Maan, I am dying," Geet said holding herself and rubbing her arms shivering in the cold, "Damn, Geet, the engine is totally dead, frozen up" Maan said and Geet looked around, "couldn't find any vehicles too nearby," Geet said,

"Now why do you worry Geet, I told you know, but no, you were so adamant to see the lake in the night, in this freezing chillness," Maan yelled and Geet turned around, "You wanted to see the frozen lake na, after a few more minutes we will become frozen statues," Maan yelled, "Maan, as if I planned for it, your stupid car stopped, so what can I do," Geet said,

"My stupid car," Maan yelled, "Maan, you stay here and keep yelling I am going back to the lake," Geet said, "Geet no, it's so mist filled, can't see anything before, so stay here," Maan warned, "No I won't," Geet said and started running ahead, "Geet, Geet, stop," Maan run behind her, "Don't be stupid Geet," Maan yelled and before Maan could say anything Geet rushed to the lake,

To the speed she was running, as she reached the lake, she wasn't able to stop herself and so fell into the lake, with a splash, "Maan," she screamed, Maan knew what happened, "Damn," Maan said and jumped inside that freezing water immediately and pulled Geet out, Geet was shivering and Maan knew she can't bear chilliness, Geet was blank with shock and she can't hear anything, "Geet, Geet," Maan shouted and he was scared to hell, he looked around and immediately took Geet to his car, and Made her to seat in the front seat,

"Geet, Geet," Maan said and rubbed her face and palm's and feet's, Geet was shivering, and she was getting conscious back, "I am sorry," she said slowly shivering up, and Maan hugged her up and felt an relief as he heard her voice. "it's ok Geet, It's ok, don't worry," Maan said, and looked at her dress which was wet, if she is in this wet dress she will get fever in no minutes, Maan thought looking at her,

Part 7

"Geet, Geet," Maan said and rubbed her face and palm's and feet's, Geet was shivering, and she was getting her conscious back, "I am sorry," she said shivering up, "it's ok Geet, It's ok, don't worry," Maan said, and looked at her dress which was wet, "Geet, I have to remove your clothes, it's bad to wear the wet clothes on, while it's freezing outside," Maan said and Geet nodded, Maan then slowly removed her clothes,

First her salwar top and bottom, which left her just with her inners, Maan was feeling so uncomfortable and his desire was killing him to see her likes this, "Not now," Maan said to himself controlling his thoughts, and her inners too was wet, "Geet, I need to remove everything," Maan said and Geet nodded an yes shivering up, as it was only her Maan, and Maan slowly removed her inners and she turned totally naked,

Maan then went and took the velvet picnic carpet which they had in the car and took it and cover Geet and scooped her from front seat, which was wet now and put her on the back seat, and Maan too started to feel the shiver as his clothes too was wet and Maan didn't think a second before he freed himself from his clothes and throw off everything in his front seat and Maan took the driving Seat, and closed the door and raised the glasses up,

Maan's car heater too was not working as engine was dead, Maan looked at his dash board and found the tissue box and a match box, and a tin beer can, Maan took the beer can pour the beer out and opened the mouth of the can a bit bigger and took his handkie and wiped the can dry and out the tissues in and lighted the tissue and that created a slight heat inside the car, but it wasn't enough for Geet,

"Maan, Maan," Geet was murmuring and shivering up, and her whole body was shaking up and Maan put his hands back on her forehead and found she was freezing up, "God," Maan thought and he climbed to the back seat near Geet, and pulled Geet up and held her close over the velvet cover, but no, Maan could see her body still shivering high, He thought for a minute, and looked at Geet "Maan, Maan," Geet murmured and Maan closed his eyes and pull the cover from her,

Maan hugged her, cover her naked body with his own and cover the velvet cover upon both of them, Maan used his body to heat herself and he rubbed his hands on her back, up in no second their body reacted and the heat raised up, and Geet could feel the heat of Maan's naked skin and his hands rubbed her back and after a 30 minute or so, Geet felt normal and her chillness was gone and she felt sweating up,

She slowly realized their state, and she looked at Maan, who was still in his limits but she knew how hard he would have been for Maan, to stay in his line, she saw him closing his eyes and leaning back his head, Maan is an control freak, Geet knew he is controlling in with his will power and Geet felt her soft body pressing against his rock hard body, and the thought made her breath high and an electric wave passed from her head to toe,

She felt Maan hand holding her close, "Maan," Geet called and Maan looked at her face turned red due to blushing and smiling at him and Maan smiled big as he found her alright, "Geet how are you feeling now," Maan asked looking at her, "Naked," Geet said and Maan grinned up, "Geet you should listen to me, or else we will end up like this only," Maan said slowly, "and I don't mind being like this," Geet said and pressed herself more into his hard fame,

"when did you turn shameless," Maan asked with his naughtiness sparkling in his eyes, "why should I turned shameful when I am with you," Geet said and her desire was burning in her eyes, "Geet, enough, I could lose my control," Maan said releasing his hold, and taking his arms away from her, "who asked you to stay in control," Geet said pressing her lips on his neck, "Geet," he moaned, "Stop," he said,

"Make me," Geet said and pressed her lips on his chest, "Geet, you are killing me," Maan said, and Geet grinned, "oh, finally time for revenge Maan, have you ever let me go when I begged you, no na, then why should I leave now," Geet said kissing her way up, "Geet, stop it or," Maan warned and Geet grinned and pressed her teeth in his chest giving pain, and making Maan lose his control

Maan finally lose it and caught her hair and pulled her face up and kissed her lips, he was kissing her like no tomorrow, and pushed her down on the seat and hover on her, pressing his hard frame on her, pour his desire on her, making her moan, scream and wince up, her sound made him wild, he lost his humanness and turned into an furious wild being,

Don't know how long it was, when Maan finally pulled himself from Geet finally breathing himself heavy, and he was surprised as he suddenly felt uncomfortable in that small space, he stood up and jumped into the front seat and held his head back breathing high and he turned to see Geet, her tiny body was easily fit in that back seat and she was still closing her eyes breathing high and her naked body was making him wild again,

Maan saw the tears running from her eyes and he sifted sideways and let his long arms wiped her tears off, and he sat at ease and he looked at the watch it showed 4.30, and he closed his eyes and trying to relax, after 15 minutes or so, Maan felt a soft hands holding his bare chest, and he opened his eyes and took her hand and kissed it, "Geet, I am sorry," Maan said and Geet looked at him puzzled, holding the velvet cover her around her and holding it in one hand "for," Geet asked, "for, breaking the promise, I should have stopped," Maan said slowly, "you wanted to do this after our marriage and, I" Maan said signing heavy,

After a while Maan and Geet wear back their wet clothes on and Maan looked at the watch and it was 5 and so he called his driver and in few minutes he came, "You stay here, I will send an mechanic," Maan said to his driver and took the car he came in and went away with Geet, as they reached their farm house, Maan made Geet to go to her room and Maan went out, Geet too went and had an warm bath feeling the pain and pleasure and she blushed up high thinking about the precious moment and as she finished her bath and got changed and came out to see Maan ready,

"Maan you are ready, but your flight is in the afternoon only na," Geet asked, "yes, but need to do one more thing before that," Maan said, Geet looked at him puzzled, "Geet pack my things," Maan said and went away and Geet to did what he said, at 11.00 Maan came back, with a cover , "Geet, wear it and come with me," Maan said, "What is it," Geet asked and Maan smiled, gave the cover and Geet to got it and went it,

As Geet went inside her room and opened the cover, she found an red saree, "Saree," Geet was surprised, it was beautiful, Geet immediately wore it and then the jewel Maan had with it, and came out, and stood before Maan. Maan looked at her and grinned up and went and hugged her up, "Now come on with me my beautiful" Maan said, "Maan, what's going on," Geet asked and Maan grinned and drove away, and stopped before a small temple, "Maan, this is temple, and what are you," Geet asked and Maan went and pulled her out,

And held her hand and took her into the temple, they was no one there expect Maan and Geet and the god in that temple, "Maan what is this all about," Geet asked and Maan pulled an Mangalsutra from his pocket, "Maan," Geet asked shocked looking at it, "Geet, you gave me everything and made me your husband in all means, and it's my turn now, I want to make you my wife in all means," Maan said, and Geet looked at him shocked,

"Maan, but we are going to get married in three months," Geet said, "Geet, I need to, I was feeling kind of unbalance in our relationship and also an guild, so," Maan said, "Maan, you are so hard heart and modern and yet so traditional," Geet said, "Any problem with that," Maan asked and Geet smiled and said a no, and Maan smiled and tied the mangalsutra on her neck and Geet suddenly felt an bliss, and closed her eyes,

Geet too came to the farm house and did as Maan said and was packing her own things, and then that whole day went boring and Geet was waiting for Maan's call but she didn't get it, it was beyond two in the night and Geet was still not feeling sleepy, she was worried that Maan's cell was switched off and Dev's phone and Meera was also switched off, Geet was on her bed lay and trying to get Maan on the phone, and suddenly she jumped up hearing some noise,

Actually it was an banging noise, someone was hitting the door hard, Geet felt scared, but slowly went to the hall, "Geet," Maan voice made her feel relaxed and confused and she rushed and opened the door, and Maan was standing there and he was an mess and looking at his face it felt like he had been crying, "Maan," Geet asked shocked to see him like that, "Shocked to see me, alive," Maan asked and Geet looked at him puzzled,

"Maan," Geet asked and Maan held her arms, "Why, why Geet, why, after all the happened, why," Maan asked and Geet was totally lost, "Maan, what happened," she asked, "What happened, now you are asking what happened, Dev is dead," Maan yelled and his voice echoed everywhere, "what," Geet asked shocked, "yes, he died for me, he died because of you," Maan said and Geet was confused,

"Why, Why Geet, I believed you to the core, then why," Maan asked, "Maan listen to me," Geet begged, "Listen to you, after all the happened, Geet you, you, after what happened yesterday, I," Maan said with a pain, and Geet was devastated to see him like that, "Maan I don't know what you are talking about," Geet yelled, "You don't know, you don't know, stop acting Geet" Maan yelled, "The bomb you kept in my travel bag, you don't know anything about it, the messages you send to Vikram from your cell phone, about each and every move of mine, you didn't know that too ah,"

Geet was feeling like she just got from a roller coaster ride, "what are you speaking, Maan, I didn't do anything, I swear, why would I destroy my own family," Geet said and Maan turned around, "enough Geet, enough, I can't take it anymore, if you want to take my life away, why didn't you just asked him, I would have give it to you happily, atleast Dev would have been Happy," Maan said pained and kneel down on the floor feeling weak and betrayed,

"Maan," Geet went to him and kneel before him and held him, "Maan please I didn't do anything, I don't know what are talking about," Geet said and Maan looked at her with his tear filled red eyes screaming with anger, and he saw the mangalsutra he tied in morning, saying him how foolish he was, it looked like a symbol of his betrayal and he held it, "I trusted you to the core, that I made you my better half, and you," Maan said his anger raising up, "what is the meaning for this now," Maan said pulling it off her neck in one gone, shocking Geet, as if breaking all his promises,

And Maan got up and Geet was still sitting there shocked, totally not knowing what's happening around and an team of guys came in, "Mr.Khurana, we came here to arrest Ms.Geet Handa for the murder of your brother Dev, can we proceed," they asked Maan and Maan looked at her, who was down on the floor with shock and Maan throw the mangalsutra on her face and she looked at him, and he his tears ran down his eyes,

The tears in his eyes gave her pain more than his anger, and he rushed upstairs and two ladies came and pulled Geet up from the floor and Geet stood up holding the mangalsutra in her hands, "Maan, Maan, listen to me, I didn't do it, Maan, Maan," Geet begged crying loud, and all she heard was the slamming sound of the door,

"God, it's like what I thought, Geet, Sana is not Maan's sir daughter," Pinky said and Geet looked at her shocked, "what," she asked, "yes, but it's not known to anyone except me, Adi sir and Maan sir, not even to Dadi maa and Sana," Pinky said, "then who is she" Geet asked, "She is Dev's child, I mean Dev and Meera's" Pinky said and Geet looked shocked,

"What but Meera never said anything," Geet felt dizzy, "because Meera didn't know it before, only after Dev's dead, Meera found this out and said to Maan's sir, and so Maan sir, shifted to Shimla for one year and took her of Meera and I was with her to help her and Adi sir was looking at the business, and after Sana was born, Meera wasn't able to live with the grief of Dev's dead so she cut her vein and committed suicide leaving Sana to Maan sir" Pinky said,

"And Maan sir, bought Sana to Delhi and said to everyone that Sana is his daughter and asked me and Adi sir to not to say anything about it, "Pinky it this true," Geet asked and Pinky nodded a yes, "Maan sir will never love anyone than you Geet, he still loves you, he is still struggling to get your memories out of him,"

Geet dropped on her knees and cried up, "How did I thing like that about him, I was stupid, he can hate me, hurt me, yell me, even kill me, but can't forget me or stop loving me" Geet said as her tears flowed up, "He is still is my Maan, just mine, My Maan," she cried up,
