Chapter 1!
Inside the huge hallway of Handa haweli, mohinder and rano were sitting on the couch. Dadima had placed her hand upon rano's shoulder. Shobit and Shivani were explaining mohinder something. Topic of the discussion was important, but extremely serious. Everything depended upon one decision by rano and mohinder.
Shobit: Mohinder, tum maan ki itni badi galti ko lightly kaise le sakte ho? Hamari beti ki zindagi ka sawal hai yaar.
Rano: Hum aur kya kare shobit bhaiya, mana ki maan us ek raat mei nashe ki halat mei galati kar chuka hai, par maan aur geet dono hamare apne hi hai. Aur phir, aisi haalat mei hum geet se keh bhi nai sakte, ki maan se baat karna chod do. Geet maan se bahot pyar karti hai, apne dost ko khone ke bare mei wo soch bi nai sakti.
Shivani: Par rano, hum maan ko aise khula vi to nai chor skte na. Usne galati ki hai, to usko iska natija vi bhugatna parega. Mummyji, aap hi bataiye kya karna hai.
Daadima: Hum to is conclusion pe aye hai rano beti ki maan aur geet ki shadi 6 dino mei ho jani chaiye. Hum sirf apne pote ki khatir us masoom bachi ko itna bada rishta aur koi anchahi zimmedari nai de sakte. Aur abi geet sirf 18-19 saal ki hi hai. Hum log usko bachpan se dekhte aa rahe hai, usme abi bi bahot bachpana hai, mana ki akalmand hai, lekin bahot bholi hai hamari geet. Hum log pehle dar te rehte the soch kar ki kahi uski bholipan ka koi phayda nai utha le. Par hamara apna beta hi uski musibat bana chuka hai.
Maan and geet were childhood pals. Handa and khurana familes are close friends since past 5 generations. Even their business is a joint company by the name of HK Industries. They are a royal family, richest in Five countries of the world. Geet is only child of handas. Khuranas have an only son maan. Geet is the dearest child for both families. Even dadima and shivani love her loads. Geet has 55% stakes of HK Industries in her name. Maan is 22 years old and handling business successfully with his father and uncle. The three ladies look after geet and domestic branches of their business.
One night, all elders were away for a mini tour of three days. Geet was alone in handa mansion, then maan came home fully drunk. He greeted his cutie and went to the bedroom. By mistake he entered geet's room in the dark corridor. Geet went to push him out but maan just hugged her and confessed his hidden love to her. As geet is too naive she did not understand the gravity of the situation and maan crossed all his limits. The next morning, geet was lying in her maanu's arms, but she was happy to be with him. When maan apologized, she said she enjoyed being with him, though it pained her little bit. The girl was so innocent that she instantly informed her mama about it when rano and mohinder returned the next evening. Both families were shocked and angry with maan to know what happened that night. Since then dadima and his parents have not spoken to him. Moreover, just within 2 weeks of the incident doctor has told mohinder that his worst fear came true. Geet was expecting. But unaware of all that Geet is continuing her friendliness as she adores her maanu and likes to be pampered by him.
Everybody instantly agreed to dadi ma's idea. They called up adi and asked him to talk to asia's best wedding planners. Everything had to be completed within 6 days. Geet could not be kept alone to undergo all the trauma herself. Maan was at fault, and he had to compensate by devoting his entire life to geet. It was high time that he realized about family and relations, that he learned to value his loved ones.
Just then, maan entered the lounge and they informed him of dadima's decision. Maan agreed without a single word, he wanted to atone for his mistake and shower his cutie with all the love in the world. Marriage would instantly remove all barriers between them. He wanted to mark geet as his own as soon as possible.
Fact was that when one of Shobit's business associates, Mr. Bhalla had attended the cosmetic chain launch party in HK Head office, he saw geet with shivani and was spell bound by her beauty. He had even approached mohinder with a proposal from his only son Kunal. Mohinder knew Mr. Bhalla well and even rano seemed happy, though they said they would think about id and let him know later. Maan was seethign within but could not confront anyone as he loved handas just like his own parents and Dadi. He had purposely done everything that night so that he could make mohinder and everyone else agree to his marriage with geet. He knew that Dadima would be the first person to suggest the idea. Only MSK has right on geet, and no one else. Jo bi ho jaye, maan could not lose geet. Usko bhale kuch bura vi karna pada, par geet sirf maanu ki hi hogi.
Geet meanwhile was sitting in the garden with her pup snowy. She was busy playing with her, just then Dadima and others came there. They decided to tell geet everything so that she could be made ready for the big day and event. Shobit and shivani were elated, as their dream of getting geet as their daughter-in-law was going to get real pretty soon.
