Part - 53
It was Diwali and all were very at home full day * Dadima and YSK were busy in wishing Diwali to friends and relatives * Annie in shopping and Dev was busy in .. ahhmm Meera . GD and Pam were enjoying their life in KM and watching how enthusiastically they were celebrating this festival of lights . Pam's face lost its shine in front of Geet after that incident * she felt a tint of jealous and insulted . Maan was in his room and Geet was hell busy in house hold course. She was preparing for eve pooja and instructing servants * she decorated Pooja room with flowers and Diyas * Made rangolies and prepared many dishes for festive dinner.
Maan came down in eve and wanted to have a coffee * he looked for her * she was in d main hall and making rangoli with flowers . He came near her observing her * she is in a beautiful lavender colour suit * she is wearing bangles today on dadima's request for festival , hair tied in a braid but some strands were disturbing her blocking her view and in process to remove them some colour spread on her forehead and cheek ... cute . He smiled and coughed to get her attention .
Geet looked at him in a questioning manner and gesture him to say something.
Maan: ho gaya ?
Geet: bas thodi sa , ku .. koi kam hai aapko ?
Maan: hmm .. i want coffee .. milegi , then i have to go for a meeting with a overseas client ?
Geet smiled and nodded in a yes : 5 min .
Maan: hmm.. OK.
She finished and got up securing everything * placed beautiful diyas on rangoli and lit them * she was moving here and there and d sound of her bangles and Anklets were tingling his heart * he came close to her took d corner of her dupatta and removed d colour from her face * she startled with his action and felt a shiver in her spine when he rubbed her cheek .
They came and Geet prepared coffee for him and handed his mug .
Maan: tum nahi logi?
Geet: No, i have many things to do .
Maan: mei help karu ?
Geet: Aap time se aaker pooja mei shamil ho jana yahi help kafi hei ( she knew threw Dadima that he never come for prayer and pooja).
Maan : mujhse ye sab nahi hota ..pooja ,mandir .
Geet: ku ?
Maan: mujhe vishwash nahi .
Geet: karoge to hoga na .
Maan: tumhe vishwash hei in sab mei ?
Geet: haan ,, kunki jab kuch samajh nahi aata to ussi per chod ker aage badna padta hei , zindgi ke kuch faisle humare hath mei nahi hote lekin hume manana padta hei aur wo faisle suprime power leti hei humare liye.
Maan: tum un faislo ko sahi manti ho ?
Geet: ye to waqt batata hei ki wo humare liye sahi thy ya galat .
Maan: Geet tum chahati ho ki mai aau ?
Geet: kisi ki pasand se apne decisions matt lo , jo aapko sahi lage aur khushi de wo karo .
Maan: lekin tum to dusro ki khushi dekhti ho apni nahi .
Geet: kabhi - kabhi sahi kya hei wo dekhna padta hei apni khushi nahi.
Maan was speechless with her thoughts and d purity of heart * she is very clear in her views ,, no doubts and no hindrance . He always felt a zeal in her presence * her Aura gave him a positivity. She excused and went down living him in d pool of thoughts.
It was d time for pooja and all were gathered * Dadima wanted this pooja performed by Geet and Maan coz it was their 1st Diwali , but Maan never join any family pooja. She told Geet to lit d diya and Annie to join her , but her eyes spread in surprise and happiness when she saw Maan there * he came straight way for pooja after creaking his deal * she gestured him to come near her * he came to her and Dadima brought him besides Geet * she patted his cheek with love . They did d Aartis and touched elder's feet * Dadima and YSK blessed them with a contented heart seeing them together. All wished Happy Diwali to each other, took prasad , sweets and came out in lawn to burst crackers .
Geet was standing with Dadima and GD lil away * she feared of loud sound of crackers and covered her ears with hands when Maan and Dev burst bombs and flower pots. Pam and Annie were playing with light crackers like flowers pots, sky shot and sparkling sticks. All were laughing at Darpok Geet who was pouting and looking at all helplessly* Maan was enjoying her plight and giving her a teasing smile now and then.
All d family members , servants and their family were gathered there and enjoying * everything was going well , everyone was lost in d fun when suddenly Maan ran towards Geet shouted.. G e e t ... in a blink he was there , snatched her dupatta and threw that away pushing Geet backward * all were stunned at their places with this and looked at Geet's burning Dupatta * Maan came to Geet held her and made her stand who fell down on ground coz of his push . Geet was still in shock and shivering .
Maan hugged her sensing her condition * he too was very shocked and his heart was beating very fast against his ribs ...It's OK, It's OK . He was caressing her back and head to console her * he parted and asked .. Geet , tum theek ho na? Dadima came close and hugged her too . All gathered around her worried . Nobody knows how this happened ? It could be coz of any diya,candle or cracker * everyone was telling their doubts .
YSK: Maan , Geet ko ander leker jao wo dar gai hei.
Dadima : haan beta aur thodi paani do peene ko ..chalo sab ander chalo.
YSK: Dev, sab secure karo yahan se .
Dev: Ji dad.
Maan held Geet's shoulders circling his arm and moved to go , but Geet felt pain in her leg * she yelped and held his hand tight .
Maan: Geet , tumhe chot aai hei ?
He lifted her in his arms and moved in * Geet didn't say a word and held him from his neck * she was in pain and shock. Maan brought her in hall and settled her in sofa , Nakul forward a glass of water to Maan and he made her drink * she was very quiet .
In all this Pam was looking everything quietly with an evil spark in her eyes * not a single soul knew that it was she who touched her half burnt sparkling stick with Geet's dupatta from back and threw that away .
Maan: Dadima mei Geet ko room mei le jata hu , she needs change.
Dadima: haan beta , aur hum aap dono ka dinner wahin bhej denge , Geet ko araam kerne do usse chot aai hei.
He lifted her carefully and came in d room , settled her on bed and sat near her securing her in d paling of his arms close to his heart .
