Smoke and Mirrors (Inactive Thread) Note Page 9 - Page 6

I have always had a fondness for this story. From the very beginning, all those years ago when I first started this 'short story', I wrote the ending. But as it does, life happened and left by the wayside were a lot of my stories. I lost parts of some stories, I lost interest in others.
Even when I was gone for months at a time, my stories still played on my mind. This is why I'm back again, pulled by the urge to finish this tale.

I've been very fortunate to find some brilliant, active readers. Numbers in the Geet Forum have been waning for some time and stories from new/unknown writers see less readers and sometimes receive a discouragingly low amount of feedback.
I do not write for compliments. I don't even write for comments. If I did, I would not write the sort of stories I do. However, it's nice to know that I'm not speaking to a wall. I'd like to encourage everyone to please be interactive readers (for any story you read) - talk to me, talk to each other, come up with plot theories or convoluted plans to overthrow me. Just please don't tell me that it was a "nice update, continue soon". I try to make every chapter worth saying at least something about and I would really love to see people on my threads, not stock compliments.

I know I'm preaching to the choir. This has been one of my favourite threads because of you as readers. Please continue to share the love/constructive criticism as I try to take on this journey again.
