His mom had given him geet's landline number along with her personal number. But he was relucant as he didnt knew what to say? How he should start the conversation? More over what he will talk about? As they hardly know eachother. He wasnt sure that if he should call or not? Then he used to think..."usne bhi toh call nahi kiya!" and that become a valid point for him to not to call first!
After a week or so of their engagment..
That night...He was in his room...busy, working on some important files.. When his cell phone rang. He recived the call after few rings that too without checking the caller ID.
Before he could even say a "hello"...he heard someone shouting.. "naina..naina..stop it! Mera phone wapas de.." time stoped for him..he easily recognaised her voice.. It was her.. Geet!
He felt very different that time..the feeling was new to him. He felt happy that she had called first to talk to him..at the same time, he was surprise with her taking the inciative.. "not bad!" he thought with a slight smile.
"per, mujhe jiju se baat karni hai na.."..naina's reply brought him back out of his thoughts.
"toh..ghar ke phone se baat karna! Why my phone?" ..geet sounded irritated.
"kyun? Aap ko darr lag raha hai? That jiju will think that its u who is calling him.. That u want to talk to him.." hearing naina's teasing words... He couldnt help smiling.."ohh..toh she didnt called him"..he thought!

"mujhe kyun darr lagega? I didnt called him. Aur na hi mujhe kisise koi baat karni hai.."..geet shouted in annoyance.
They both probably had forgot that they were still very much on call..and he could hear them.
He kept listening to their nok-jhok..& honestly he enjoyed it alot!
"achha? Sach me?" naina teased more.
"han..agar unhen baat nahi karni toh fir main kyun karun?" geet fought back.
"unhen?? Ummm?" ..naina smirk teasingly.
He too smiled shyly listening geet reffering him as "unhen" it felt really special.. He didnt know why?
"tu..tu na maar khayegi aaj.." geet warned. And then he could hear them running around shouting at eachother.. laughing..
He chucked hearing them fight like that..he heared them for few more minutes.. then he cut the call with a pleasent smile on his face.
After an hour, his cell rang again. This time he checked the ID & saw geet's landline number flashing on the screen.
"it must be naina" ..he thought.. & recived the call. And Sure enough it was naina only. At first, he was wondering as to what to talk..but then naina made it quite easy with her light talks and teasing.. she was really sweet girl. They talked for sometime..after that suddenly naina said.. "just a minute jiju.." he thought that she might have some important work.. But next moment, his view totally change about her.. "she is naughty devil" ..he thought..
"arre...dii..dii.. Apki friend ka phone hai.." ..saying that naina handed the reciver to geet.
Geet who was totally unawer of her devil sister's mischiefs..took it & said.. "hello.."
His heart skiped a beat hearing her sweet "hello"... He was lost in that blissful feeling..when she said again.. "hello?"
but then he didnt know what got into him that he did what he had never thought of..
"toh..tumhe mujhse baat nahi karni..?? ..hmmm??" ..he asked, shocking not only geet, but himself too.
