When he had came back from US, after finishing his MBA and had joined their family business.. His parents had wanted him to settel down in his personal life too. They had asked him that if he had anyone in his life..or if he like anyone? He had denied straightly as he didnt had anyone of that sort, in his life nor in his mind. Yes, he does belives in love.. but... Actually he had never thought about it before..as he had been too busy in his studies..that these kinds of thoughts never crossed his mind. And most importantly, he always had thought that he would marry by his parents choice only! As there wish & opinion matters to him alot.
So, after confirming with him that he didnt had anyone special in his life... His parents had told him that they had seen a girl for him..while he was abraod! He was surprised that they had been planning it for so long. Then he got to know that the girl's father was his dad's business associate & a good freind. They live in mumbai basically. As his dad often goes on business trips to mumbai..he had been to their house for quite a few times and he had liked the girl pretty much..that he wanted her to be a part of their family. And with that thought in mind, his dad had taken his mom with him on his recent trip to mumbai and guess what?? His mother had liked that girl so much that she had wanted to fix the allience there & then.
They even had talked to girl's family about it and her family was also interested. So, both the families were waiting for his return only.. So that he & that girl can meet eachother and take the final decision.

next, he & his family were at the girl's house to meet her. Yes.. The girl.. Coz he still didn know her name. No one told him and he also didnt asked! He liked her family..her parents, younger sister & daadaji.. they were nice people.
He was listening to his dad & her father's talks..when he heard his mothers asking.. "geet..kahan hai?"
ohh..so her name is geet! He liked her name... "geet"
And then he saw her! She was beautiful..there was no doubt in that! But thats not the only reason which captured his attention.. It was whole of her.. as a person. She was quite comfertable with his parents.. She even jelled with his sibling very well. All the while when she was talking to someone or other..he was stealing glances at her.. She was simple & sweet!
Then both the families gave them some time alone to talk to eachother. They were hesitant..but manage to share few things..and he liked talking to her.. he got to know that.. like him..she also respects her parents wish & opinion.
He liked her simple & cheerful nature... And as his parents already liked her so much..it was a YES from his side. Coz the only thing he wanted was his families happiness.. A life partner who could adjust in his family...& be a part of it...rather than dividing it into parts.
Her answers was also positive. Both their families were extreamly happy. Elders were discussing about engagment dates..when his mom said that she wanted to fullfil the rituals now only..as she cant wait to make geet her daughter-in-law officially...So the allience was fixed..and they got engaged that very evening in a smiple manner..in the presence of their family & few close one's.
