So I finally landed to read - reread, actually - the chapter. I think I'm commenting on any story after quite a lot of time!

First off, I have heard this song, Dekha Ek Khwaab, but it was so long back that I don't remember it that much to say how it was. Couldn't listen to it now.

The whole episode right from him thinking she was a dream, him kissing her, her being shocked and slapping him, the tussle that followed when he calmed her down and apologised and put forward his proposal as a normal guy and her wanting to accept but needing to stay away, it all had so many different emotions in it that I don't think I'll be able to count them all. The two things that touched me the most in this part of this chapter were Dev's earnest proposal to her, stating what he wanted, and Naintara's fix. One thing which had me thinking deeper was her belief that she is the kite that has been cut and floating around the empty skies. Over here, I contradict. She is the kite that has been cut but flying is what she can do now. There are no strings attached to pull her back to the place she has started from. She can reach higher and away from whatever pains she has in her past. I can't of course say that without knowing just how deep her fears and the dangers she believes to be trailing after her, run.

Their drive back home made me like Dev a little more than I do. The concern he has for Naintara, what with him arranging coffee for her, him trying to lighten the mood by singing and talking about tulips, and then him being practical and trying to make her see reason regardless of the rejection he faced at her hands just some time ago. I loved it all!

My first impression of Pari wasn't as sour as it's now turning to be. She's acting like a limpet seriously! But I liked the consequence Pari's call yielded. Naintara's fiercely protective side toward Geet came out and even though she was considering Dev's intentions for Geet all wrong, I loved the warning she gave him. It showed her compassionate side.

Sone pe suhaaga ho gaya when Dev promised her just the opposite of what she demanded! Her hotheadedness is perfectly matched to his fiercness!

And lastly, awesome! Loved it!
