The rose day fiasco.
From stupid over knowledgeable cynical professors to rejected roses and broken hearts to reclaimed roses😳 and soothed hearts, to misunderstood genuine rose day wishes of Nakul😆. It had all the ingredients for an awesome roseday potpourri.
In my mind in that moment, Prof Shetty turned to Shetty the villian from the 80's movies😡. Until he redeemed himself by explaining the meaning of the roses.

Nakul has become a favorite for people😆
Maan is about ready to jump out of his skin.🤣

The moment Dev got into that bed I knew what was in store for him. But I had not expected the kiss.😆
Such a sweet chapter. Both the brothers are awesome with kids.😳

dreams do come true..😆But I wonder what else is there in Tara's past that she doesn't even see an ounce of hope for Dev and herself. Dev on the other hand, seems ready to surrender to his feelings.
Never have I ever fallen so much in love with secondary characters. Hats off to you Avi. I am so very, very glad that you continued with this story. What awesome characters you have sketched. I am just unable to stop myself from reading on and on and on.😃

Geet is falling more for Maan everyday isn't she? Now she is getting anxious if he doesn't look at her. 😉
As for Pinky. Ha!! She is a riot. She says it as it is and she has caught out Maan's lie about the notes. She is fierce in her defense of her friend and I think she's finally getting an inkling of Maan's feelings.😳
Maan is so smitten. Every action of Geet is magical to him and he just adores everything she does.
First dinner date, even if it is with PInky and Adi, Maan is lost in his own world. Small gestures of Geet and his reactions to them, make us see how aware he is of her presence, how much he is lost in her.😳
he is perhaps more endearing with time. As with Dr. Khurana, there is a request line for him, Dev and a surprise when you read further..😕
Ch 26
Now back to Dev and I-slap. He defended himself pretty well. 😆
And Tara's inner conflict is becoming clearer. Dev has already admitted his feelings to himself and confessed to her. But inspite of the attraction she feels, she is carrying too much emotional burden.
But I'm confident that Dev's man enough to face anything she throws his way.😉
And his sense of humor is intact if his lyrics are anything to go by,
'Amitji ko pyar, aur thappad Dev ko mile.'
'haddi pasli tod ke woh chup ho gaye'
Tara is fiercely protective of Geet, so she is trying to defend her from the so called playboy. But that one backfired on her. Dev took off his gentleman's gloves. She aimed right at his pride and that hurt him. I liked Dev's comeback here. Though, I'm sure it will only add more kerosene to the fire they are trying to put out, or at least Tara is.😉
CH 27
Love is not about fanciful declarations and pounding hearts. Love is about caring. It's about being there for the person you love, even if you can't be with them. It's not about giving false hopes and consolations, its about being the hope, even if the person is unaware of it.
That is exactly what Maan did. Took cae of Geet's every need, even when he was hurting himself. what an amazing man. And as you mentioned at the end, not a word had left his mouth, yet his care, his sympathy, his love came rushing through his actions.
Too good Avi, just too good.👏
This chapter esp with the music added was the only one I liked. Their silent love at its peak.
Ch 28
She is counting every day that she's been away from him. She misses him desperately and yet she thinks she can control herself and her feeling. He thinks enough time has passed and that he's gotten over her. A little bit of alcohol in the system and all the false barriers come crashing down.
His desperation came rushing out, when he so desperately wants just a birthday wish from her. That whole interaction was so very intense, it set my heart racing and my pulse pounding.
You know how to set the perfect tone Avi. That heavy atmosphere of desperation, despair, barely restrained tears and emotion was just too phenomenal.
And then she ran into Sunny Delight or not so delight.😲
New creepazoid. who the hell is he?
Ex-husband, ex- boyfriend. Is he the one who hurt her.
