u know when I was reading everybody's comments...I was scrolling pages from last page and coming towards inner pages...and when I read ur comments I thought same...I loved how u gave everything point to point and I hit like button in ur comment...then I came to this page and found u did same...yes we really shared same sentiments...I also don't feel any of Geet's pain here...when I was reading update I wanted to read Maan aka Arjun feeling...when he was dieing in pain , remorse inside his room when Dia came knocking his door...until now as Maaneet fan I didn't liked Arjun helping Dia but now I feel she is much better and suited for him...but u know when I am saying this I shivered thinking him with Dia...how can we Maaneet fans see him with anybody else...yeh humari majboori hai ki we can't see him with any other girl than Geet...but I am confused how will I accept her now with him after what she did...😕

"Addictive" is the perfect word for your "writing" dear..Only your stories can hook me this way...It had happened before too,,I had read "In love with my enemy" in the same way...I was a silent reader back then and haven't joined IF...I had read the "last updated chapter" of that story first and then i read three or four chapters backwards...You can understand,i did not have inkling of story line ,still i managed to read three chapters in reverse order...Thats the effect your writing has on me,dear..!!!
After reading four chapters in backward direction,I jumped on chapter one and read the whole story...!! But sadly,you abandoned the story when i started reading it !!!
I am so happy that you are back with this extremely wonderful story and I really thank avi{dqno.1} for telling me about this...!!!
I don't know what magic you have in your words but you can make a reader so involve in the story that he or she becomes oblivious to their surroundings...!!!
You give minimal descriptions of the places,still you take us to their world..It always feel like,i am standing their witnessing everything with my own eyes...!!!
There is always decent intimacy between the leads,still chapters are so intense that I feel something churn in my stomach when they hug or even hold hands..!!!
The way you have incorporated those "Literature lessons" in the story and the way they connect to situations and circumstances and characters,is incredible...!!!! They are perfectly woven..!!
All the characters whether its dev aur sunanda are so real that you forget for a while ,its a fiction...!!! Even leads are not perfect..have their own flaws and it definitely contributes to the "realism" that this tale has..!!!
I had lots and lots of in my mind to say but now I have forgotten every thing after reading 20 chapters at once..Stil i remember few things and i would quote them..
There is a line.."Marriage is not noun,its a verb"..i have never heard such perfect definition of marriage before...👏.👏
That scene,when reporters ask geet whether she wants death sentence for him and she remembers his words...Oh i felt goose bumps all over my arms...!!!
Then in the union room,where vikas tries to poison geet's mind to make her complain against arjun..The way you have portrayed geet seeing her mother in her friend,asking her to do this,was just awesome..you know its easy to show this with camera and very hard to portray with words..Kudos to you girl...!!!👏.👏
Your presentation always makes me feel as if i am watching a movie on tv...!!!
I am sad too that my quota of chapters is over and i have to wait patiently for your next update..Its a big punishment i tell you...!!!!

I understand dear..Its really hard to say something about this story..even I had said only about writer's wonderful work..There are no comments about the characters...!!!They are right and wrong at their respective places under respective situations..!!!!

Chapter 19: Oh my there was this numbness I felt after reading it. As if a lifetime has been spent reading it. A mixed bag of emotions felt. The whole perception of it left me with a pain within. I had to so many times in between reading just stop close my eyes are let it all sink within. This doesn't happen to me very often that too when it is painful. I can take pain well but then this was too numbing for me to wait and react objectively towards both M-G. I didn't want to typecast them, Because your characters are too real, so if I typecast anyone then it will be like a mockery of this world. We will find such bits of their characters around us & we do live them all. That's life. Kudos to you girl for making such characters, and enduring them within your perception. brilliant piece of writing 👏 I can understand how difficult it must be to write this with such contrast of emotions & strong characters because a writer lives them, each emotion each pain, each accusation that too with double force as you know it all and also know that why do each react so and also know the consequences... so then your living through of them must be more hard as it must be hitting you too.

Just LOVED IT ALL.

I want to tell you I love the amalgamation of nature you bring in with each scene. Its quite subtle but quite impactful. Each time there's nature playing together with the emotions flowing in the scenes. Without describing much you make me feel it all what must be the external environment in close accordance to their inner turmoil.

Firstly loved the start itself. A premonition of coming events. You had me in there itself. That "Tick tock" ticking of the clock gave the feeling of being bound in a time machine . As if hereon-wards the characters will want to make time to return back but will not be able to.

He feared loneliness all along. As life has always dished out that to him. He now releasing self from past shackles wanted to live again but that wasn't possible. Destiny has made happiness a curse to him. He wanted a sunrise with her to dispel the darkness within him. (So symbolic & in relation with the time shown then... its almost dawn 4.30.) Without her his Home that he wanted to build & live with her turned out to be a dead apartment again.

Geet affirmed the accusations. That was somewhere I didn't want to happen... not that even scratch that I feared it happening for the consequences following not that much for Arjun but more so for her own self. But then I loved how you showed it all transpiring. The emotional turmoil & blindness she was in do to her own past insecurities, hurt and anger. The whole inner voice & conflicting external chaos happening around her so well out together. I wanted to hate her but just couldn't. Tried a lot but then she is human with greater weaknesses. defying self. Oh Reet what have you done with your writing I can't even hate her. I feel numb for her & somewhere even want to go shake her up badly and another part of me just wants to cover her from all the mess her blinded with rage mind.

Will she really get her revenge by this. Will it give her the satisfaction? Will she be able to live through it? I fear all of these questions. They say tongue is boneless but yet it can break everything. So it is here. Her few words of wrong accusation uttered here broke everything. She didn't speak much but then her few words gave the needed false power to all the bullshit spoken by that Vikas. She let him rule her. Just shows her insecure nature, her need for a protector always. She needs proper guidance always. I guess that's what her father feared for her and that's why decided on Arjun for her. She is still the child within coping from loss that a slight comfort from someone she will get influenced.

The whole flashback shown causing her to let go of her conscience and let her Heart rule. was splendid show of emotions so contrasting. I wonder whether she let her heart take over or was it her bruised ego, needy soul, or insecure child within her that took over her rationality & moral self & own principles.

I guess she was wrong. Her love alone wasn't sufficient for them. Because her love wasn't unconditional, there was a need for want . there was more of self need here. It was love for self than love for them both. Khudgarzi. !! But then each of us love ourselves too much. We need to give up this to be love selflessly. And I guess hereon- wards this is going to be their need in this relation. where both will learn to love self less and love only selflessly. (Oh have I blabbered too much...😲)

She went to the princi ... they all went actually asking for justice. But then they weren't just. They're own conscience was pricking yet they went ahead ... how mocking is it?

Anant is a mystery to me. Honestly!! Too smart, manipulative & selfish. He is beyond my league, or range of comprehension., I like this portrayal of darkness in him. He is one big factor that keeps me at the edge. His brain works faster than rajdhani. And the calmness he shows mind blowing. He has great control.

The way Anant threatened Vikas... Man this fellow was shaken to his roots. But then he is a pawn for Anant. Vikas has done the damage Anant secretly desired to happen. He wanted this so called affair to meet a drastic fate.And he knows that will happen without him having to even raise a finger.

Oh I'm ranting too much...but then there's so much. Will comment some more ...later. I f not able to read please ignore. But i need it to get it out of me or it will keep playing in my mind.
