Oh! No I didn't. I was going to read and then comment but then I fell asleep. Anyways I have commented on chapter 19. Now going to read chapter 20 and then comment. Hopefully will be able to before you update the next. 😊

Chapter 20: Reet how do you do this girl, each time. This update just left me awestruck, pained, satisfied, apprehensive, perspective, etc etc...

After reading it all I just didn't know how to react. I was like so many things whirling in my mind. There was so much that was so intricately woven together. Different time frames but throughout it had me gripped. Creative justice to it leaving a sweet searing tingling pain deep down within me while reading. I was so pained reading it but then now I see hope for them. Great work even after such intensity I know there's going to be happiness at the end. Though the road is going to be thorny, rough & uneasy.

As I said earlier in one of my comments they didn't have a stronger foundation so this had to happen. Khudgarzi jyada ho gayi thi that love couldn't flourish.

I still can't hate them both. Because for me both are at fault, though the blame would differ in intensity and responsibility. They were so much into themselves that their 'I' became too huge that the 'US' became too small to notice when it started shattering. Third person could easily break them because they themselves allowed it.

The 3 friends regret now sitting in their room, something that tarnished a person's lifelong reputation, dedication and self respect... something that made him to live head held high yet none went & made an effort to go correct it.

Dev came in the picture here. and I liked the questions that arise in Su and zaria's mind yet they don't question her.

When Dev dishonored him, when the students dishonored him by calling names & assaulting him by words, action & disgusting expressions she just stood seeing the enormity of it all but didn't step in as she was afraid within that she will be proved wrong. She was fighting a fierce battle within that her bounds loosened. What she did when she wasn't in her senses came to be so enormous that she didn't know how to handle it.

Dia 👏 Turned out to be true to her nature. A real student. She stood by her sir, she trusted him. she knew him. Her pleads her running to comfort him showed her respect & care for him. Geet had everyone to comfort her... friends , dev and all but yet she felt so uncomforted & lonely; while Maan had none except his student yet for Geet's questions & for Dia's betterment he even detached himself from that support. Dia gave Geet a reality check. She in person & externally made her face-face with her inner demons of insecurity, anger, fear, loneliness... and her easily influenced nature. Even she gave a fitting reply to Zaria showing Vikas' real face to them all.

What disheartened me was Geet needed a Dia to establish her trust in her Love. Was her love so fickle. I would say NO! It was just insecure, selfish. She so craved for Love that one person she gave her mind body & soul she didn't want to lose but ended up losing her own self & him.

But yes even Arjun is wrong. He too didn't come out in open when she told him she trusts him, he too left loopholes in the relations. She gave him time but he was so taken aback that he couldn't come out of his own web of lies. But then he never admitted that he slept with Dia ... Geet assumed it. That shows what level of incompetence they both had. I know I'm being very hopeful but then whenever they will turn out to be together after all the obstacles please do start building their relation on a stronger base of trust & belief.

Anant turns out to be more darker with each part. That was real cruel to push a woman from the stairs. A hip fracture with a depressed mind is a big blow. Arjun endured it all. He did feel hurt & betrayed yet he came back. I know he named it as revenge... but then it was just a guise for the promise he made & also he loves her now. This gave me a flicker of hope. I know none can forgive their love if they malign their name & reputation. But then here it is love ... something very illogical & unconditional. If he could still love her & care & want to move ahead with her after so many hurts I feel somewhere he will forgive her now too but it won't be easy. She will have to earn his forgiveness & more rightly prove worthy of his love. He too will have to come out clean to her once they start settling in (I know its quite far off but then I'm very hopeful)

The students disrespected him so much. I feel that's what perception does to you. They all adored him & respected him so much, went running to him during exam preps, asked him for notes; and then one allegation and everything crumbled. So what was all that hero worship? Do you trust someone & respect someone in such shallow manner. Why doesn't someone once ask themselves that is it possible, cross question their own conscience. When he was disrespected in the library & in the princi's office I was feeling so hurt for him. Does everything boil down to other's view ... does one never form opinion of own. Why go with the majority and once not ask self on what must be the right.

The scene when he plays the song was such splendid. So beautifully you made me feel each emotion with just words. It was like a movie; everything felt, lived & experienced in words itself, that too so clearly. Also the white Kurta ❤️. I remembered the pooja function when they had that eye talks & appreciation in eyes which now is just full of pain & hurt.

Good she confessed it now. I agree to Arjun's punishment. But I know its going to be most difficult for both. She may even face other students but then how will she face him, mainly how will she face self. Her shallowness will bite her. To top that he won't be there for her. She will need to prove she's Uday's daughter enduring it & living it each day.

Also I guess now Anant knows about Arjun as his name & pic may be flashed in the newspapers.

Another thought just crossed my mind. Now who will believe any girl if she truly experiences any harassment in the college. Also what did Geet fight for that girl does that hold any strength or morality, or to say does it mean the truth now to the world even though it was true. Will people like Yadu bans be scot free now? Now if Vikas tries to harm Geet will she able to voice out or if anyone mistreats her wrongly will she be able to justify it or will anyone believe her.???

What happens with Dev now??
