I know this time I'm super duper late... Sorry for that. I was the first to reserve and I guess I'm the last to unreserve. Anyways let me comment on the part. 😊

As always I love the title used... 😳 "Of Dreams & Nightmares..." Loved this title a lot. I love dreams, all things related to Dreams. This one here was a package of everything. If it was someone's dream turning into reality of spending time with her prince charming, then somewhere else it was dreams of a seductress clad in pink nightdress with ties coming and causing restlessness in the otherwise calm Dev leading him to shut himself in the similar way as she shut the door on his face. And then there's another extreme ... the nightmares, someone living them each day seeing the bruises & wounds inflicted on self reminding of deeper soul scarring wounds that causes her to build walls around her. Beautiful summation of it all in a Title. 👏

Dev babu has his tastes changed. One glimpse of the womanly side of his Shrew and all goes haywire in his life. Such a transformation form Delhi's priced bachelor to a dissatisfied soul seeking the spice of his life. 😉 Bechara Nakul had to bear his anger for the missing spice in his life. Who will tell Nakul that even Daadi wasn't spared from Dev's pre-occupied mind.

I have told you earlier too and again I tell you that I love the characterization of Daadi. She is intelligent, experienced and has an unique style of her own. She isn't the one to take things if she's ignored. She knows her way around & also knows how to tame everyone around her. Her revenge plan was bang on! Superb Daadi... 👏 Afterall because of her my Favourite second leads could be face-face and spend some moments together... ❤️

Also liked how you showed the discrimination Dev makes between his overdose of sweetness and him missing the shrewd spiciness of his life now. Showing all of his imbalance. Him missing his saucy & spicy I-star and also trying hard to hide his displeasure in all the sweet gesture and also the otherwise friendly manner of working with his friend Shasha.

Even I hate the sound of running nails on a blackboard... eww... it irritates me...

The scene where you described Dev getting hold of Naina in his arms after she was hit by the ball reminded me of an incident from my UG days where we friends had gone for a lunch and were seated in the open section of the restaurant facing Ruia college ground where few of then were playing cricket. While eating suddenly a ball came form nowhere and hit one of my friend on her head. It hurt her bad but she didn't faint like Naina... but after icing her head we all group of 15 were treated to special dessert by the restaurant for free as a gesture for what happened with my friend. 😉😆 (Sorry to go tangent...)

Also I loved the regret, concern & worry that Dev experienced while tending to Naina. What I'm curious about is how did Niana get those bruises and wound on her shoulder...

Initially before reading I was waiting for the music selection for this update but then after reading I agree there was blankness at the end as well justified by Dev. 😊

Waiting for more... 😊

The title reminded me of something I read some time ago. Have to say, I like it!

I can so sympathise with Dev! 😆

What amused me was the drastic change in his taste. It seems like Naintara's spicy food has tampered with his taste buds! 😆

That smirk, Savitri Devi's smirk always smells some testing challenge for the receiver and it had me wondering what she might do to get her grandson to speak. Her concern at Dev escorting Pari to her debutante ball was something that made me curious though. Traditionally speaking, she shouldn't have any issues with it since Singhanias are family friends but she had. I wonder who she was more concerned about, Dev or Pari? 😆

You used an example in there for the irritation Dev felt at Pari's constant agreement with him. Scratching nails on the blackboard. Will I sound weird if I say I shuddered at the mere thought of it?

Hmm... Dev doesn't like girls who agree with him all the time. Or maybe it has only changed in some time that he has begun to appreciate fiery women more, who can be difficult for him. Someone like I-Star, maybe? 😉 Though this was the place that I could totally empathise with him. When someone is very sweet and very naive, it sometimes irritates you for no apparent reason.

His situation made me laugh when he switched projects to avoid the ultimate perfectionist (in every way!) and landed himself in a bigger mess. Aasmaan se gira, khujoor mein atka! 😆

I liked the tug of war he was having with himself, fighting to suppress the slowly rising feelings and stubbornly drilling into his head that he'll get over it. More so, I like that he actually acknowledged Naintara's professionalism, the fact that he misses her showing the rule book every time and that he compared Sasha's way of working with that of Naintara's.

Don't we often underestimate what others can do to rile us up? It was funny how Dev expected his Dadi to come up with the same kitty party plan or a new proposal for him and she ended up doing what was the most spot-on these days! 😆

Was this the first time that Dev called her by her real name? And this certainly was the first time that he held her! 😳

The disclosure of the burn mark and the bruises came as a shock to me as much as it was a shock to Dev. Now I really want to know her past and what she's had to go through.

As a whole Avi, it was very well-written. All of it which showed Dev's inner struggles with his feelings and the way he was behaving with others due to that.

Forgot to mention, I really liked the connection of his blank mind with no music in the chapter...
