I agree Munshiji gave his life for Maan and it is very big sacrifice he did for Maan...

but how can he take promise from him to marry his daughter...

he could have asked him to take care of his daughter...

first of all him being Maan's Munshiji and that very close he must have known that Maan marriage is fixed with Geet...so how can he bind him with this promise and suppose he don't know then also taking promise to marry his daughter is not right...
