our weddings are simple...technically as long as the couple complies with all the legal requirements set up by the country they reside in no other action is needed for the marriage to be recognized...however all couples have the option of having a ceremony done where they are given a beautiful talk about the divine institution of marriage based on the Bible...also they may may opt to have a reception with food and dancing...my cousin opted for all ...

yes I had fun...saw all my family from my mom's side at the reception...

for us its optional...and its not like the Catholic ceremony as I am not Catholic...
