This chapter was very well written ...👏

I liked how Naina checked him out in the start while he was standing in the driveway. She is quite aware of his presence & also makes a note of minute deatils (That must be her nature as a rule book specialist... yet for Dev it is just more refined senses to take it all in..). I feel she knows him from before where there must be some attraction yet past events in her life have made her wary towards any bond or relations, especially those of love. But it looks like she's fighting a loosing battle. Oopsie! In all the admiration & secret scanning she forgot to see his chivalry of keeping the door open for her, & ended up being more of a snub for him from her side. I like how Dev's character is being strengthened in each update. It is always that the lead is given much of the limelight, but what I like here is that each character has been given their own space & scope for growth. Dev here is one with shades, I like this variety that he shows in him. Sometimes flirt, happy go lucky, easy going, hard working, knowing others worth, loving, & chivalrous & making the other feel at comfort with his humour & soft nature when needed.

I liked Dev & Shasha name calling... devu-favu, shasha- tamasha... 😆 The tamasha I read for the first time as Tamacha...(that's now stuck in my mind... 😆) Ruli-pedia was another good one. How do you come up with these amazing names & word teases. Shasha being so easy going just showed what an effect & ease Dev causes in the environment & his employees yet earns respect. All of this in the single statement of - "Maan is like the sun ... unreachable" , I'm not saying anything Bad about Maan but then you also need someone like Dev around to balance it all.

Another aspect was very well brought out was - how Naina gradually admired Dev, the way her preconcieved notion of Dev being richie rich & snob turned to be an admiration of his hard work & knowledge of his work showing he is well versed in it all. Indeed a man of substance.

I did like his marketting tip, but somehwere I felt he should have taken her into confidence before throwing the bomb on her all of a sudden. Don't know must be the way I view it but it becomes too bad for the person facing it as Naina was made to face it out of the blue. Anyways liked it... As it revealed another aspect fo how Naina is deeply hurt within as she unconciously relates it all to her past experiences. Something drastic must have happened for her to cut off all ties as well as wanting detachment even now. She is in a way protecting her self being all hard & one very professional in order to not be scarred further more than waht she already is, but then she isn't realising that being so she is not allowing anybody to step in and heal her wounds, Hopefully Dev will be able to cross the barrier she has created for all.

The song 'Mere ghar aayi ek nanhi pari..' tugged my heart. I really felt for this girl here... who portrays to the world as a headstrong girl quite independent to fight her own battles yet somewhere there is a small girl within her who just wants to be her Daddy's girl, wanting her Dad's embrace to coccon her fo all adversities in life. Hoping Dev with his jovial nature & softness can break her hard exterior & bring that girl out of her who can enjoy life with its unpredictibility & not only be abiding to rules always... 😊
