First of all, I want to say that I really liked the title of the chapter for the dual meanings it stood for. It wasn't only about the girl 'Pari' but it was also somewhat related to Papa's Pari... 😊

Dev and Sasha were sort of funny with their rhymes. 😆 But there was one thing in their conversation which gave me a mindless pleasure. 'Maan is like the sun, totally unreachable.' Don't ask me what exactly made me happy about this statement because I won't be able to point out. 😳

I'm very, very impressed with Dev. Like Naintara, I also took him to be the rich guy born with a silver spoon but boy! Did he surprise me with his professional side! There was a glimpse of this side in the previous chapter of these two but I was still taken by surprise when he switched from being the flirty guy who opened the door for the woman to the friend who spent some happy reuniting moments to the guy who taunted about Naintara raising her trunk (this had me laugh out loud! 😆) to the boss with a sharp knowledge of his work to the boss who explained the tricks of marketing to his employee. Oh yes, that explanatory of branding really had me nodding in agreement with him, thinking that yes he's right. But I think I agree with Naintara more. The next time Dev will have to actually contribute in the work. 😃

Another thing that raised my curiosity was Dev's 'don't you ever do that to me again, I-star'. Dev was afraid of being left amidst Singhanias? And why do I sense him a little strained towards Pari? She has a crush on him and he's the playboy, so why is he not actually doing what playboys usually do?

Naintara's past. One of the things of this story which will always have me thinking. What happened to her? Why was she thrown out of her house? Why doesn't she believe in relations any more? And most importantly, what is her connection with Dev? I guess it's only patience that I should hold on to.

Oh boy oh boy! Dev is something!! Head on her shoulder. 😃 I can't wait to see what happens next!

This was a janu update. The italic word is borrowed from one of my dearest friends basicquestion1.
Anyway I am liking this Dev who has that shimmering anger under the surface watching her un lady like acts or rather her putting off his gentlemanly behavior. I now understand why was he uncomfortable at the mention of Pari. For her she might be a child isn't it? And I admire this Dev who doesn't want to indulge in anything that would get her hopes high.
Admirable.
Who thought the person who called Sasha Tamasha and gave background music to everyone is a mature and sweet person beneath. I am liking the shades of this Dev.
Also, the woman who is a strong, tough nut has a vulnerable and naive side to her. You know when she was giving him back stabber names in her head, i found her adorable. But when she bit her tongue and controlled her emotions and wondered why was everyone trying to tie her into a relation, her thoughts had hit a spot.
This is a couple I am falling for, with every passing update Avi. While one couple is damned sweet, and the love that is between them is innocent, this is the kind which has sparks flying but also tender in its own way. Hats off for the wonderful characters Avi.
