As soon these words reached to Geet, her both cheek and ear turned to red, her full body inflamed with anger.

How dare?

She clenched her jaw tight, and clutched the books more tightly and looked up to see the person.

As soon as Maan's eyes fall on her eyes, around him everything turned into frozen.

He couldn't take eyes off bewitching, magnetizing eyes which has paralyzed his brain.

But unaware of that person is looking at him with animosity.

Geet just precede one step angrily to retort him back his answer, but unfortunately Annie came there cogently took her inside the food court. Without saying anything to him, she just gave him a sharp glare to him and entered the food court unwillingly.

When Maan she escorted to the food court, he also start following her but before he could go inside Arjun stopped him "Stop it"

He jerked and removed Arjun's hand from his shoulder "Keep your hand off me" glared him and ran inside the food court. As he entered full of masses, all are busy in their work eating, gossiping. He looked all around but he couldn't find the exact person whom he is looking for. As if she had disappeared from this mass.

Arjun came behind seeking him "Maan, what's wrong with you, just for a single bet you are doing this."

"What's her name?" all of a sudden Maan asked him.

"What?" he frowned at his sudden query.

He gritted "I said what's her name?"

"Veil girl" He stated coolly.

"What the🤬!!" Maan anger rose more and trying not control in himself "I said what's her real name, don't you understand?"

"Real name" Arjun confused, her real name he know only the nickname Veil girl' he never tried to find out her real name

Maan temperature is mounting every passing second; he gritted his teeth tightly not to lose his temperature.

"Real name, wait!" he was hitting his brain hard trying to remember her name "real name, real name huh! Wait a minute, huh! Gai [cow]"

"WHAT?" maan almost shouted

"No, no, it's Gayetri" he remembered her name start with 'G' but not her real name "no no, huh, huh, it Gul, yeh it Gul, sure it's Gul, but Maan please forget about bet and all, whatever you want I will give it to you"

Maan started walking without saying anything.

' She spitted out angrily and filled her mouth with ice-cream who had given him right to talk this nonsense?]

"Sayed tu usse tik se baath nahi kiya hai" Meera told her. [May be you didn't explain him properly]

"Yes, you are right I didn't explain him. If I had said to him, I would have reminded his ancestor" she growled again she put one more spoon.

"Agar tou asi tera tera se baath kargi toh wo bhi tera se toh tik tara se toh baath nahi karega" she tried to put some sense in her. [If you talk with him rudely, he will also not talk with your properly, isn't it?]

"Diii, you r taking my side or his side"

"tera jo assumption yeh Maan ke bare mey agar tou usse side peh rahekege toh sab kuch tik ho tik tak lagegi" [if you keep aside of your assumption about him, then you will find everything will be ok about Maan]

Meera she tried to change the topic to make her mood light "ok, yeh sab chor aur tu yeh baata, tune Maan se baath kiya hai?" [Leave all this, and tell me did u talk with Maan?]

"BHAR MEH JAI" Geet thought came to mouth [GO TO HELL!]

She clutched her own mouth, realized the mistake 'sorry' in mind she was so busy in cursing to that person, she didn't notice what Meera had said about her Maanji.

"I didn't mean that to Maanji, seriously di, I didn't mean it, it was for that stupid" Geet clarify her fault

"I know, Geet, it happens'

"How can I say that to Maanji, huh?" Geet repeated the words to herself.

Geet expression changed into horrible, Meera gave look no-way-I can't-bare-this and shouted from room "Mom, can I have 1 more bowl of ice-cream, please".

Maan saw light of mobile is flickering, he hold it and frowned at caller ID. He clutched more tightly and flung it to the wall and pieces remained scatter all over the floor.

He seized the leather jacket from bed and dodged from the room.

Ayesha called out from back "Maan beta" Maan turned "Sameera tumhe call karne kosis kar raha hai, par tumara mobile switch off aah raha hain" [Maan beta, since when Sameera is trying to call you, but your mobile is switched off]

"Anyone can leave me alone, or I don't have that right live my life own way?" he said to her in anger.

"nahi, asi koi baath nahi hai..."Before Ayesha could finish he left the mansion [no, I didn't mean it...].

She saw from the window, Maan left with his car "Main toh kuch galat nahi kar raha hou?'She asked herself [Am I doing something wrong?]

~~~Flashback~~~

"Why don't people can leave alone?" Maan spitted angrily while walking village path "What's there problem?"

Reason behind of his mood so pissed off, actually he was thrown out of his own room by his Dadi. "Jab se yahe aye ho, tabse ghar peh batha ho, jake barhar gum ke ayo, ladka yese ghar betha sobha nahi deta hai" he make gibe of his dadi's dialogues. [Why don't you roam outside? You are sitting in home after you came from town and it doesn't suit boys to stay in home all day.]

"What's so beautiful over here, tree, river, birds, goats and dung euuu" he closed his nose and almost vomiting state.

His leg stopped near the riverside and stared at flowing river.

Suddenly he heard some hubbub. He tuned behind what the hell! and eyes turned big, in any moment it will come out of socket. More than 11/12 boys coming toward him, as if some bull is behind them.

They are running out of life but there is nothing like that then

But why? Damn it!!

He turned back looked at the water, he was cursing the water not for knowing swim. He just closed his eyes tightly leaving all things Almighty's hand.

He slowly, slowly opened his eyes lid he was full socked in water.

"What the hell!!" he muttered under his breath.

Except him everyone was under the water still he was standing in wetting from. By jumping on the water, they all socked him.

"jalidi se kud jao, nahi toh booth tumhe pakar ley jayegi' one of small kid said to Maan. [Jump! otherwise ghost will possess you]

He was staring at them like fool "kaya soch rah ho, jalidi karo?" again they said. [What you are waiting for, do it?]

Ghost what the hell!! He became so annoyed with all the nonsense; he closed his eyes and took a deep breath to control his anger; make his way toward the house.

Before entering house in yard he heard some giggling sound. Anjali and many more girls are laughing with them.

Wait!

He saw something.

Geet!

Out of them Geet was also with them.

This is the first time he saw her laughing with all heart without fear or boundary.

His lips also curved into smile.

But suddenly she stopped laughing seeing him; they all looked horrified to Anjali and him. He just found something fishy.

"What the hell!!' He just ignored and entered home.

At night all storm fall on Maan, he was cursing if I get that ghost, for sure I will kill with my bare hand for throwing me in this trouble. Here every family member thanking Almighty for saving him from 'Ghost' all their superstition is madding him more. Everyone is circled around him; someone was reading some verses from holy book and blowing on him. Maan was giving look to Anjali Plz-save-me-from-here, and she was enjoying the scenario giggling from far.

And moreover because of him they had kept Geet busy in some work which is disturbing him more.

1^st "Damn it! This superstitious people"

How he is gonna bare their torture.

2^nd "Ghost"

He is going to kill with his bare hand no doubt at all.

At night Maan fell on his bed totally sucked out and thanking Almighty to reaching in his room, which can't be better than some heaven.

Peaceful.

Tranquility.

Gradually closed his eyes lids.

Geet just froze in front of Maan's room. Her leg got stuck in the earth albeit her fear was not letting to her go inside. Again he will shout at her just thinking of pervious consequence. She could not stand like this whole night, because Dadi told give this milk to Maan. After a lot of thinking she mustered her courage to enter his room with deep breath. Her gaze fell on bed saw that he was sleeping. Before he wake up, just finish her work as soon as possible, she just kept the salver near the bedside table and start leaving his room. Suddenly someone pulled her elbow; she looked at the person with fear.

Their eyes meet with each other.

Maan heard sound of footstep entering his room, a tinkling sound with each step. He kept his eyes closed pretending to sleep. When the sound started to fade he opened his eyes to see the person, when he saw Geet. He couldn't stop himself from letting her go.

Yes!

He stopped her.

Why?

Even he didn't know.

Suddenly some rage hit him because of her fear toward him, she can talk to his sister without fear than why not him and asked sternly "MERA KAMRE MEI KIU AYI HO? HA!" [Why did you come to my room? Ha!]

"wo...woh" Geet stammered at fear looking down.

"kya?" he asked [what?]

"Mujhe nahi pena' Maan said in anger looking at milk glass and left her [I don't want drink it].

Geet nodded her head and was going to take the tray

He prevented her from doing that "lena key liye nahi kaha hain?" [I didn't say to take it]

Geet nodded looing down and start going out of the room.

He said her "Jane key liye nahi kaha hain?"[I didn't say to go?]

She again agreed without looking at him.

His anger raised more pulled her with that grip got tighter and shook her "JAB BAATH KARO THO, MUJHSE DEKHE BAATH KARO, SAMJI TUM?"[LOOK AT ME AND TALK, DID YOU GET IT?]

Loud voice made her shudder; she looked at him and tears start forming in her eyes. Slowly he released her from his grip.

"Rona mat, mujhe nafrat hain issey" honestly, he just hate tear in her eyes. He realized again he got angry with her, when he try to control his anger, he lose on her only. [don't cry, I just hate it]

He tried to make the situation light "uss din tum or di sab mujhe dekhe hassi kiu band kar di" this girls were upto in some fishy and mastermind of this things was his own sister. [That day u and di was laughing y all of sudden u stop laughing seeing me]

"Woh, woh" she stammered

Before she could answer to his interrogation she was interrupted by Sameera.

"itne der lagte hain kya, dey ane main?" Sameera gave an angry glare to Geet. [Does it take so much time to give?]

"Knock kar ke ayo" Maan fisted his hand tightly and said to Sameera in a stern voice [knock, and come inside]

"kya?" she frowned [what?]

He shouted at loud voice "MAINE KAHA KNOCK KAR KE AYO" almost making her and Geet jump. [I SAID, KNOCK AND COME INSIDE]

She glared at Geet, and then reluctant she went outside, knocked the door and came.

"What do want?" he asked her.

"wo...woh" she stammered "bas main dekne key liye aya tha ki Geet nae diya kiya nahi" [I wanted to make sure, did she give it or not]

"I don't want, take it"

"Geet ley ja" she ordered Geet [take it]

"maine Geet se nah kaha yeh, tum le jao" Maan replied with gritting teeth.[I didn't said to khushi, u take it.]

"Ji" she agreed without protest and didn't want to mess with him. She took and left the room shooting angry glare to Geet.

Sameera left the room, Maan turned to Geet "main tumse kuch pucha hain, jabab nahi diya"he waited for answer and asked her "ok, tik hain, pehele hum dono apne app ko jan ley phir uska jabab deh dena, tumare naam kya hai" [till now you didn't give answer to my question, ok, leave it! first let us introduce first then later on give me the answer]

She looked at him confused, just now he said her name to Sameera then y he was asking her again?

"Gongi ho kya" [Are you dumb or what?]

She looked at him more big does shaped eyes

"kya?' he asked "Gongi ho" [what? r u dumb]

She nodded her head in negative.

"Toh sar kiu hila rahi ho, mera sawal ki jawbab deyo"[Than y r u nodding ur head, answer me]

"ji' She mumbled at fear

"tho ji naam hain tumara"Maan almost laughed at his answer but tried to keep clam in his voice.

She replied in hurry "ji nahi"

"ji nahi naam hain tumara'

"ji nahi,,,,,wo,,,woh" she meowed like cat

"Woh naam hai' he teased her and maintained a stern face, he was loved to tease her.

"nahi"

"Kab se ji woh nahi laga ke raka hain, naam bul gaya ho kaya, agar naam bul gaya toh to main ek naam rak du tumara" [from when u r saying ji, woh, nahi, did u forget ur name, if u forget then let me give u some name]

"JI NAHI, GEET' she nearly shouted at him for teasing her name "GEET NAAM HAIN MERA'

She realized that unknowingly she had shouted at him, looked at him in fear.

"Geet" he smiled

She just nodded

"pirh se' He growled

She felt it he was getting anger on her for some reason; stammer again "ji...jii'

"ji..." he was going to ask her but cut off by voice.

"Maan, what did you say to Sameera?" Anjali asked sudden entering to his room, almost demanding.

Maangot pissed off just hearing the name "I just told her knock and come, and take the tray; and I know she had created a big fuss over this right, di!" he knew why her sister came here and the crocodile tear Sameera he knew her very well in this days "tell her not to mess with me in future, otherwise I will turn her life ups and downs" he warned

Anjali from the beginning she knew that he hates that Sameera to the core; she is queen of creating scene in front of family members. So she didn't ask anymore further question.

"Let me clear, Geet doesn't have any fault."

"Geet, tum ayo mera saath" she asked

Before Anjali take her Maanstopped them "oh, wait, Geet"

Anjali stunned calling Geet instead of her "what?"

"Oh, Geet kuch puch rahi thi'[she was asking me something]

"Kya?' Anjali interrogate

"wo, mera naam puch rahi thi' he lied efficiently.

Geet looked at him bewilderment making more big eyes and he somehow control himself not to laugh.

Anjali looked at stunned at Geet, in this house she dumb who doesn't have right to say a word, raise a question is beyond that. Only With her and Nani she is free, who knows how to talk, laugh.

Then turned to Maan and asked in confused "tumhara naam"[ ur name]

"ha! Itna haran hone ki kya baath hai, bas naam hi pucha hain, koi gunah tori nah kiya hain" Maan said looking at Geet [she was just asking my name, y are you getting so hyper?]

"nahi bas hai" Anjali tried sound easy but Geet and asking question, she shrugged off from the head "ok, I think she knows your name"

"Wait! Wait! Di" before he could complete his sentence they walked out of the room.

He was thinking again, again about the teasing, how he tease her with the name.

After that he could not stop himself from grinning like stupid and Anjali caught him. Anjali trying to find to suddenly what happen between him and Geet, that he was so happy, Maan tried to ignore it.
