Oh my!

The poignancy of the moment when she told him. The sadness that was breaking her in two, very well captured.

The hesitation when she had to tell him that he was not hers. It must have been a painful hurting moment where one has to define relationships especially for one so small. A mother would never have wanted to hurt her child, never wanted to see the other misunderstand her so much and yet mothers do what the right thing is, not the popular thing or the easy thing.

Vicky even as a child never wants to hurt his mother or part from her. The simple way in which he retained her love for himself, so childlike and so mature at the same time. The session with the photos and trying to find himself in their faces is so true of those that have lost. The reason to go to Shimla is also that of a small child finding his identity in his father's footsteps as if to walk the paths that he could never walk with him.

He was an angel sent over to Lasaya to deal with her grief and pull her out of it. Someone so small that she had to do right by her friend and take him as hers. Someone so needy that she puts aside her needs and griefs and moves on with him.

Each right in their own way and yet circumstances can cause such huge barriers.

Faded memories that keep hurting and as the hurt gets sharper, she can bear no more and a blankness engulfs her.

Firstly congrats on silver jubilee! 😊

Secondly did I tell you I'm falling hard for this Vicky... Oh if Tweesha doesn't realise his worth or things don't work out then I'm first to say yes to him. 😉 But then I think there are less chances for me as he is already smitten by Tweesha so much so that Geet had to shut his mouth to stop the drool from slipping out. 😆 Only if I could also be in the challenge. 😳 Forget it let Tweesha have him.

Okay now that my Vicky puran is over (Which isn't ... but then I will put a hold on ti for now... ) let me comment something sensible.

V-G Interaction was lovely. I liked how he brought a different fun loving side in Geet. It must have always been there but then only a person like Vicky could bring it out. She was so happy & living small moments of life without hesitation that she had to force herself to stop the laughter from erupting out. Another reason why I love Vicky... 😳 Anyways teh way he flirted with her with that song ... 'dil mein chupa lunga' does he want a beating from his brother in future.. 😆

Tweesha was given a great challenge by Geet. it brought out the sensuous & girly side to her. A saree has that power to bring out a softer & graceful side to a girl. Tweety did fulfill the challenge bang on! So beautifully and with ease that it turned out to be for her own benefit. Vicky even noticed the waist chain. 😆

What I'm loving of these challenges is that each one does reveal a lot with its fulfillment. Especially with Geet's challenges to Tweesha. Each challenge has proved to be in some way affecting V-T Relation dynamics. The first challenge revealed a new side & depth to vicky which Tweety was running from, while this second one revealed Tweesha's softer side to Vicky. Also after each challenge we come closer to the answers to the mystery here. Like in this one Meghna made an appearance. Its as if all the puzzle pieces are coming closer only that they need to collected together & be placed to get answers to everything.

Maan-Lasya I don't have words to describe what I felt reading their interaction & the pain both are experiencing within. Both have their own reasons for heir own behavior. They both are still connected with a thin yet strong strand of expectation & doubts. But it took 12 years to break the silence between otherwise such a beautiful bond of mother-son. Why so ?

What I liked was how in sync was Lasya when she asked him the 'WHY' it was the same moment when he was contemplating on the 'Whys' of his relation with her. A type of motherly instinct, but then where was it dormant till 12 long years. Also Maan coming so hurtful & rigid conclusions ,makes me question that only listening to the half conversation one day between Vicky & his mom can't lead him to form such staunch boundaries & assumptions. No child can feel his mother to be scheming & a master mind for destruction of another child's innocence. He must be influenced earlier too with some things that led to this distancing.

Geet again becomes the LE in Maan's vulnerable moments. I wonder how much of the conversation did she hear. And will she be the link to bridge this vast gap between Mother-son similar to the way she was standing then with Maan departing at one end & a Mother crumbling down with pain & Geet being in the middle seeing it all.

Waiting for more.. 😊

Shika I'm once again in awe of your writing. How do you do this every single time? Each emotion & feeling so vividly put forward in few words that tend to touch me deeper. 👏 Beautiful!

Heart of a mother is indeed very beautiful & pure. Filled with so many emotions just for her children that only love seeps through it even when the hurt within is overwhelming. That's the reason a mother is called the image of God on earth, given to each child. Beautifully written each & every emotion that Lasya has experienced since years but kept it within her for her children.

She lost all of them on the same day within few hours of the night that the coming morning just seemed more darker ... but then though she was left orphaned she was blessed by being made to be the mother to someone who became her source of light in the darkness. She gained him who was a replica & a symbol of union of her two favourite people. He brought her out of her grief. He made her to put her sorrows behind her to embrace this joy in her life, to nurture & cherish him.

The whole scene of her revealing to him his real identity in terms of the world, Young Vicky being quite & listening to it all, & her fearing to see detachment or hatred for her was so well put together that for a moment while reading I had to just stop & feel it all. Deeply touching even its simplicity & weaving of it all.

Loved the whole emotional turmoil & fight of her mother to safeguard her son from the viciousness of this world, where blood relations are favoured more & Love is sometimes seen as pity. She went to save her one son form the poison of the relatives but failed to save the other from the spread of the poison.

My Vicky is so matured even at a tender age of Ten... [Here I go again with my love for him...😳] Everything about him shows his upbringing. Also the bound he shares with Laasya is not limited to the norms of the society but is bound with love & only love for the woman he calls his Mom. Lines that stole my heart were ... 'I will call her Ma and you Mom' & his wanting to go to Shimla for further studies to know more about his Pa and Dad... to live their moments of growing up & feeling their presence. He was not wanting to go there for his Pa alone but both of the men who hold importance in his & his Mom's life. Can I have Vicky for me? Please. 😳

Maan -Laasya relation is severed... but I want them to go back in time of his childhood when just laughter & smiles filed their lives & everything was unadulterated.

I hope Laasya hasn't gotten an attack with all the overload of emotional turmoil she is been through...
