It was sunday and Get was at home.Sam was ready to leave for her competition on after two days. She was very excited as it was time to live her dream truly .Priya was not here as Maan's dadi was not feeling well.She called Sam to wish her luck.She was much confident of winning the crown.She was packing her all stuff to be carried by her.Suddenly she found that her one dress was missing.she called Geet as she wanted geet to go and pick the same up from the disginer.She called geet once again but she didn't responded. She went to Geet's room and asked her to bring her dress.Geet nodded and went to get ready.Sameera turned and she... DHADAAAMM##.She slipped on the floor. actually Vicky's remote controlled car was lying on the floor and She put her feet on it and banged in floor.
she shrieked with pain-Moo oom. and cried loudly.
Geet listened it came out of the room and saw Sam lying on the floor. she was crying bitterly.
Geet -what happened Sam. how did u fall.
Sam- I m not able to stand.Call mom.
geet called pammi .She came and saw Sam in that position.
Pammi-Sam !what happened.gir kaise gayi?
Sam-Mom bahut dard ho raha hai
Pammi-Geet pls hlp me to make her stand.we will have to go to docter.
Sam-Mom I m not able to stand.
Geet called one servant and all helped Sam to sit in the car.In hospital doctor checked her and said-she has got her ankle fractured.
Hearing this all were shocked.
pammi-What ! tomorrow she is going to participate in Beauty contest.
Doctor-That is out of question.She can't move from bed for at least six weeks.
Now Sam forgot all her pain and she was shouting with anger-It's impossible .I can't lay down on bed.I have to go to my dream world.
Doctor-Go if u can walk.u can take another chance Next year.I m sorry to say u need full bed rest.
Sam was so angry and now all her anger is ready to be poured out.
It took almost half day in all treatment They all went to home after doctor Put a plaster on her leg.Sam was crying badly.
Next day Geet could not go to college as Sam was making everyone's life hell. all the servants were facing her anger.Geet was handling her with great difficulty.Vicky was out of her eyes as it was his car because of which she was in bed with plaster on her leg and forced to see that event on TV.Vicky never turned in her room even to say sorry as he was sure she would kill him.
maan was little worried as he didn't see Geet in college .He called at home and came to know about all that happened.
He came to see sam as he was too feeling sad that she could not go to live her dream. Pammi was there and seeing maan she was happy that maan cared for sam.Geet too was there as she was taking care of sam.
Maan-How did this all happened.
Sam got a chance and said-All because of Vicky and Geet.
Geet was dam shocked to hear this and she saw sam with disbelief.
Maan-OMG. How?Did they both pushed u.Geet how can u do this to Sam?
Now geet was watching him with wide eyes-No I didn't do any thing.main toh wahaan thi bhi nahin when she fell.
Maan-Really? then how is she responsible Sam?
Sam-She did not keep that car at right place and Vicky too leaves his toys every where.
Maan-Sam - God has given two eyes to every one to see what is in front of u.
Sam-ya.but if she would have keep it on right place, it wouldn't be here.and I hadn't fall
Geet was upset with maan too now and went out of the room.
Pammi-Keep quite sam. now nothing can be done so it's better that u keep ur mind cool as a long time is to pass.
Sam-Mom.I missed my opportunity.
Pammi -U can try next year.
Maan excused himself and went to see Geet. She was in kitchen and was very upset.
Maan cleared his throat as he knew that she was angry this time-Geet
Geet-pointing her finger-Don't even try to talk to me.
Maan-Yaar!I m sorry.
Geet-What is the use of the sorry.u have already blammed me.
Maan laughed and said.-Hmm...so U can get angry too. mujhe toh lagta tha ki gussa naam ka shabd tumhaari dictionary me hai hi nahin.
Geet now frowned at him.
Maan-I said it intensionally. I Knew that u won't say anything to Sam on blaming u.So I played ahead and said all that.Sorry na yaar. pls.
geet-Like a candle melted immideately.and smiled-Ok.
After having coffee and spending some time in sam's room he went away.Next day Geet went college . All were concerned for Sam.
At home Geet wasn's t getting time to study as sameera was bent upon troubling her with her demands.Exams were nearing but Geet hadn't start her studies.She was worried.
Maan saw her and asked -What is the matter Geet? is every thing is fine at home.How are studies going.
Geet was sad-all is fine n studies are too going ok.
Maan was not convinced.In the evening he again went to Khanna house and heard Sam shouting on servants.she was not satisfied by the coffee Ramu kaka brought.
Sam-Geet kahan hai. ask her to bring me a fresh coffee.
ramu kaka-woh padhaai kar rahi hai.uske pareeksha aa rahi hai.
sam-ek din nahin padhegi toh fail nahin ho jaayegi.
Ramu kaka left to call geet.Maan went to Sam-What's going on.kyun itna chilla rahi ho?
sam-mom is not home and this Geet is not listening to me.kab se coffee ke liye bol rahi hoon.laati hi nahin.
Maan already knew her drama.So he said-Drink little not good coffee this time.ur beauty is not going to be reduced by this
Geet came with coffee and saw maan.
Geet-Hi Maan! tum kab aaye?will u like to have coffee?
maan saw she was tired.so he said -no thanks
Geet went out.
Maan-Sam I know that you are in problem.but if you will keep ur mind cool.u will feel relexed. nothing can be done with ur problem but others are too facing problem because of ur behavior.
Sam did not expect this from Maan and was irritated. Pammi by then came back and heard what Maan said.
she said to Sam-Behave properly Sam.
maan excused himself and moved out
Sam-mom Please.don't start again
Pammi- U are leaving a very bad impression on Maan.I m warning u Sam.sudhar jaao
Sam-I don't care.
pammi glared and Sam said - ok I will keep in mind next time.
Maan went near Geet and ask-How studies are going geet?Exams are very much near.
Vicky who was there and listening to them,said-Time milega toh study karengi.Sam di is making her life hell.
Geet-Vicky shut up.
maan-Geet you promised me that you will share all ur problems with me .but I think u are forgetting ur promise.
Geet-Maan.Sam is frustrated on her self that's why she is behaving like this.
Maan-Geet but u have to study to clear ur exams.
geet - ek do din me uska gussa shant ho jaayega.she will be alright and I will get time to study
Maan knew it wasn't going to happen so he thought an idea.he asked pammi to study at their home as he will be able to give company to Sam.
pammi was happy hearing this.She thought that her fear for Maan and geet was wrong .Maan still liked Sam but poor lady did not knew that he was doing this for Geet as sam would not able to show her drama in front of Maan and it will help geet to get time to study.
and our silly Geet was too happy to see maan thinking to give his company to Sam. She thought-dono saath me rahenge to dooriyan mitengi (Idiot Geet)
So mission Maan started. Maan made Geet ready to study with him in Sam's room,so that Sam could get a company and Geet could get enough time. Whenever Sam asked Geet for some thing Maan said-Don't worry Sam.I will bring it for you.
After two or three times she stopped to ask anything from Geet. As pammi already had warned her to keep a check on herself in front of Maan. She called servants after that for every thing.It continued almost every day
geet was smiling back on getting time for herself. Maan was too satisfied with that.Geet thanked her for taking care of Sam,he said -aur tumhaare liye jo kiya uske liye thanks nahin kahogi?
Geet-mere liye?
Maan-arrey ! tumhaari preparations jo ho gayin exams ki.
geet-Geet made an o shapd mouth-O that was for me .
Maan-hmm
geet -thank u Maan. thank u so much.and said dramatically-Tum nahin hote toh mera kya hota?
Both hi-fived and laughed.
Sam watched all contest on tv and cursed her luck bitterly.

It was the time for fare well party for the students of fourth year. In college fare well party was arranged Third year was going to host the party so Geet was arranging party with her friends.In Party all were exited and there was a couple dance.Every one was pitying Maan for not having partner for dance as Sam was on bed and Girls did not have courage to come near him though it was every girl's dream to dance with Maan and it was the last chance.
Maan was sitting on a high chair near bar he was sipping his soft drink as he never had hard drinks.
he was sipping his drink and saw Geet coming with friends she was busy in checking arrangements if every thing was fine or not.She was was wearing a knee length dress which was black with red floral print and Geet's face was glowing with that colors effect in light.She came near Maan and said-did you like party or not?
Maan-Hmmm! quite boring.I have no company.See every one is busy in fun and I m alone.No body is ready to dance with me
Geet- Sorry! Sameera can't come na to give u company
Maan-(again Sam)Do you have company to dance or are alone like me?.
Geet-pataa nahin koi mere saath aane ko ready nahin hua. I don't know why?
(curtsy to Maan babu. He had warn all boys of college to keep themselves away from Geet, when she joined college.being sis of Maan's girlfriend no one came near her)
Maan-wanna dance?
Geet-Yes.but kiske saath?
maan-A six feet tall, handsome, se#y and a desire of every girl is standing before u.Can't you see him?
Geet rolled her eyes-Sam ko pata chala toh meri band baja degi.
Maan-who is going to tell her. u?or me?and we are going to dance only.What's wrong in that?
geet-now stop ur lecture, I m ready.let's go.
they went on dance floor.Loud music was playing and both started to dance in full masti.All friends were with them so they were enjoying a lot.one after another song all danced on music.
Geet was too enjoying a lot as she never got this chance to do such masti with friends.
Suddenly music changed and soft and romantic music started. Geet tried to leave the dance floor as she didn't find it decent to dance with Maan on that number.As she backed out Maan held her -what happened?
geet- Nothing .I m done.
maan-tired?
Geet- No
Maan-toh kya darr lag raha hai
Geet-Raising her eyebrow -Darr? kis se?
Maan-Mujh se?
Geet-Geet-Tumse? are you maneater jo mujhe kha jaaoge?
maan-who knows? khaoonga toh nahin.magar chura zaroor sakta hoon tumko tumhi se.
Geet-what do u mean?
Maan- I mean to say it's a lovely song.I just love itcome on Geet don't break my heart. mujhe iss song par dance karna hai.tum saath nahin dogi toh I'll be alone.OK i will ask from some one else
Seeing this Geet said-No need. dusri ladki se toh main hi better hoon. they drool on you like going to eat u.girls are always in search of such opportunity.
and dance started.

at first all was fine.It was being difficult for Maan to hold herself finding Geet so close.Geet was oblious of his feeling so she was cool. It was just another dance for her. Maan inspite of his various effort to not loose him self, could not stop himself from feeling the song and he looked at geet.
Geet was dancing with smile and looked that every was one lost in the dance.then she looked at maan and found him starring at herself.she could not see at him and looked every where other than him.Slowly Maan's hold on Geet tightened and he pulled her softly towards him. Geet saw with him surprise and she could not remove her eyes from him.She saw a different Maan and she was like captivated in his eyes.slowly she moved her hand and put it on his shoulder. Maan hand came around her waist and they danced while looking each other's eyes.
Maan was living his life like once for all.they were near like never before.Maan moved his another hand at the back of her neck and he pulled her face very close to his as they
were going to kiss...but
Music stopped and all clapped for each other. Geet and aan were back with a jerk and Geet stepped back and went from there. Maan now was hell worried.he cursed himself for loosing his control.he was not concerned for himself . he was thinking about Geet .how will she react? will she feel bad? he was only concerned about Geet.
He too ran after geet and found her in a corner.She was in deep thoughts.what was she thinking?he prayed in his heart and went there
Maan reached near him and said-Geet ! I m sorry if I hurt u .I was lost in song and that's all. nothing else. pls don't be angry on me.Don't break ur friendship with me.
Geet-nahin maan.I can understand.Actually saari galati us gaane ki hai.main bhi toh kho gayi thi us gaane mein.it was good that all are friends here other wise log humaare bare main kya kya sochte.Thank god.I can understand .I think u were seeing sameera instead of me. hota hai .I don't mind.
Maan wanted to jump from the hill to hear this.This girl knows how to ruin these lovely moments.
but he thanked his stars too to give this innocent girl as his friend.What if She could read his eyes.aaj use pataa chal jaata ki Maan ke dil mein kya hai.He would have lost his friend today.sometimes ignorance comes as a blessing in disguise.
he was smiling and thinking what ever happened on dance floor.He took this incident as a healing agent on his craving heart.he was happy to live these charishable moments with his Geet and no one be able to remove them from his heart in this life.he thanked Sameera too for breaking her ankle Oops...he slapped his head for thinking this.

And Geet- she was thinking-Achcha hua that I was his dance partner.If It was any other girl at my place toh kya hota? woh toh maan ko apne saath hi le jaati.Phir Sam ka kya hota?Thanku God U saved Maan today.Maan agar usse is tarah dekhta toh she definitely would have thought that he loved her.
