Part 28

In shopping Maan was total amazed to see what the things she was picking up. He was complete unaware what she was up to but it was a wonderful time for him spending with Geet and he was getting all the pleasure from it without giving any complain seeing her so excited. Whereas Geet.. she was total lost in her shopping

"Maan this one or this one?'' showing up two designs of photo frames she was frowning on that which one is to select. Maan gestured on one and she did it final. "But Geet these photo frames why you need it?''

"Aap nhi samjhoge. It's my first gift to Dadima I'm sure she will be very happy when will see!!'' She said while busy in her next buying.

"Mean?'' He paid bill and then followed her holding packets

"aap ghar chlo you will see yourself''

"Hm!!''

Both did finish their shopping and after two hours they were inside their car on the way of Mansion back. On way Maan called Dev to ask about Dadi and Dev, lied he was in hospital and she is better now, sleeping.

"Hmm now what to do ?'' Maan said while resting on sofa after reaching Mansion where Geet was looking inside all those packets.

"Nothing. Now you take rest mai sab kar lungi'' She picked packets up and went to Dadi room . Maan followed her. "And if I say I want to help you then!'' he took things from her hand and kept on bed. Geet smiled seeing his sweet gesture for her. Seeing no reply from her he turn and saw her smiling. "Why you smiling!'' he frowned

"Kuch nahi!'' she turned back hiding her smile. "Kaam shuru kare!''

"Hmm!!'' he nods

The metallic dial of wall clock was witnessing their engrossment in decorating the very room of their most precious person of family. "Maan give me that blue ribbon'' Geet was sitting on chair and stitching some ribbons in curtains, making some shapes from it. Maan handed over ribbons while he was busy in arranging some photo frames on wall with a family picture inside it. "Geet see! Is it looking okay!!''

"Hmm.. bahut achha lag raha hai'' she replied. "Ahh!!'' she winced

Maan hurried to her "what happened?''

"Needle chubh gayi?'' she was shaking her hand when Maan held it and kept in his mouth to stop oozing blood. Her breath stopped. Maan saw her tomato red face and smiled a hidden smile. "Now is it fine? 'He asked

She could nod only and looked away. He left her hand and resumed his work. Geet made beautiful designs with ribbons, small mirrors, did embroideries and gave final touch with small bells lace hanging down. She set it in curtain rods. When wind came inside through half opened window those small bells made beautiful sound. It caught Maan attention.

"It's beautiful Geet''

"Maan.. will Dadi like it?''

"She will!!''

Geet felt so much happy finding surety in his voice. They settled some family photo frames on front wall of bed. Frames which had their childhood pictures. Geet replaced all curtains with her hand made crafted ones. She also had collected some most incredible moment's photographs and made an album. Photographs of Maan, when he was of one day old, in his mother arms. Dev birth photo. The first day of school of Maan when he was crying and his father was trying hard to make him quite. The first trophy in Maan hand which he had won in school sport competition. Like those many wonderful memories which Geet had found in the box she was trying to pull. She gathered all, slipped in an album and kept on Dadi bed with a soft teddy written 'Sorry 'on it.

"Maan now when it's finished I think we should leave for hospital. Dadima will be waiting for you'' Geet said while serving him dinner and she also joined him. Maan nodded and in next hour they left for hospital. They found Dadi was sleeping but Dev was no-where. Maan called him.

"Bro I just came out for meeting to my some friends. They have come India only for a day! I'll be back in morning'' he convinced Maan.

They entered in room but Geet paused on door did not follow him. "What happened!'' He gestured her to come but she shook head denied "I will be outside Maan''

"But why..''

"Maan until Dadi doesn't accept me, our relation I will not come in front to her'' she whispered. Maan did not like it he tried to make her understand but she was not ready to come inside "Thik hai. Then I'm also going to stay with you here outside ''

"No Maan please you go. Dadima needs you more than me. Unhe achha nahi lagega if will see you, away from her..''

"Per how will you stay here for entire night?''

"I'll be fine Maan you don't worry'' she gave him assurance and sent him inside where he settled on couch and Geet on sofa which was kept in corridor. She did not want to leave Maan alone and also knew, that Dadi will not like her to see with Maan if she wakes up. So decided to stay outside from them..
