first of all... it was a fantastic update... u have a great knack for writing and should definately continue...

the best part of this update was its wide ranging emotions...

geet giggling on the besharmi of her husband everytime he sees her in a saaree "Maan usually changed from a human to an octopus when she had a saree on" also loved the lines " Her husband was quite quite irresistible. She should get a gold medal for surviving all that and leaving from there unscathed. " i can empathise with maan as it having an extremely gorgeous wife is a definate toll on your self control... as for geet, she has got a near perfect husband with greek god looks...par it has its cons as well...

the gossiping of those ladies was disgusting...the don't realize how much hurt and damage they cause through their narrow mind-set and sharp tongues, " Hurt and sorrow swept in like a hurricane battering and shattering her insides." and its even more horrible if they do it intentionally...

the dream of having an happily ever after with their small baby being snatched away was really painful... there was pain, hurt, self loathing and guilt inside geet killing her every second "How she felt totally unworthy of him, maybe she was not meant for him, maybe he would be better off without her, maybe she would never be able to give him a child, it all came spilling out" a quite natural reaction... but what she awsn't realizing was that others were in pain too... the pain of loosing the baby as well as seeing geet like that...

the feelings that outshined in this were of maan's... the love, care and concern he showered over geet...he dfinately stole the limelight in this os of yours with his naughtiness, his mischieviousness, his teasings, his care, his understanding and above all, his love "Realizing that as deep and raw as the pain was, there was no way out but to get through this together. He had to be the stronger one at this moment. If she could not walk beside him on their journey together he would carry her with him. He sat close to her holding her in his arms."

the poetry was wonderful... depicting the emotions and situation wonderfully and beautifully...

and ofcourse... not to mention the disclaimer... completely hilarious... but true in every sense...

waiting for the epilogue...

do let me know, how you liked my analysis...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I am thinking about doing another SS which shows the early years of this couple and how they met and fell in love.
If you would like to read about this please like this post.
If there is enough interest, I will definitely work on it and post it here.
~~~~~~ And Now For The Rest Of The Story ~~~~~~~~

While driving his mind wandered over the past two years. He was living the best time of his life. Geet had delivered a beautiful healthy baby girl and their little angel Mansi had filled up their lives with more and more happiness every day. She was a carbon copy of Geet with beautiful dimples and lovely hazel eyes, all Geet except the bossiness of Maan. One little kid bossing over all five of them. He considered that fact too. Five.

When his father heard of the baby's birth from Daadima he had come to the hospital to see his grandchild with Pammi. Geet with her magnanimous heart welcomed the blessings and accepted the person who had thrown her out as a bride. It had taken a while for Maan to get there but because of Geet he had. She did not want their child being deprived of any love from her Dadaji and Daadiji and she had made Maan let go of the anger he felt. His father and Pammi had really changed over the last few months. The surprise had been Pammi. If anyone had told him two years ago that Pammi would reveal herself to him in this light, he would have laughed at them.

He remembered the day a distraught and sobbing Pammi had come to the clinic with his father beside her. Her makeup strewn, hair totally out of her stylish bun, clothes a mess, eyes alight with worry she had rushed into his cabin. His father had an unhealthy shade of grey on his face and he was slurring badly. Pammi had stood by as Maan revived his father who was suffering from a very mild stroke. If not for anything else, Maan's heart had changed watching her being the dutiful wife. In the early years of their marriage, Maan was mostly away at medical school so he had never been too close to her. Gone was all the attitude, the nakhras and the fakeness. Here was a woman, who however she was to the outside world, was bound to his father in a very close way. Theirs may not have been the greatest romance but they genuinely cared for each other and he had grudgingly acknowledged that she was instrumental in a major part of his father's healing. Now with a healthy lifestyle and a more balanced life his father had quickly recovered and was still going strong.

Once his father was better, they had come to Maan's house to ask them to come back to live at Khurana mansion. Although they had not moved back in they were at the mansion practically every day. His parents and Daadi along with the nanny cared for their little Mansi during the day while Geet and he were working. In fact, they had been the ones to cook up a nice plan for Geet and Maan to have their first weekend away without Mansi. He parked the car in the driveway of the farmhouse they had purchased last year. It was their weekend getaway with Mansi who loved the openness of the countryside. Here she would grow up chasing butterflies, climbing trees breathing the fresh countryside air. He felt good to bring every joy to his precious angel that he could.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Geet smiled as she finished setting up the dinner table and lighting up the candles there. It was looking beautiful. She made her way upstairs to freshen up before the night. This was the first night away without their precious Mansi. She called Daadima to check up on her and found that she was already asleep. She smiled at how much her life had changed over the past two years. Mansi had taken over their life and they had been saturated with love. If someone would have told her that she would leave the hospital with the great Maan Singh Khurana holding the baby in one hand and a baby bag in the other while he helped her, she would have laughed. But he had. He had kept his promise and been by her side constantly even partnering with his medical school roommate for the clinic so that he could give both of them time and care.
Most mornings he had taken the baby with him to the living room, playing with her, cleaning and feeding her so that Geet could catch some extra sleep. Mansi was definitely going to grow up besura with the way he sang her to sleep on the swing. His every day started with his angel and every day ended with her. Still, she could not forget the hundreds of images of them that had transplanted themselves in her heart. The pictures of the first time she had seem them asleep on the sofa, him in his vest and tracks with their little pink bundle resting near his heart, the pictures of her tiny hand clasping his long fingers, the small dance that she had with her Papa who was on his knees trying to dance with her with her first step, the first time that their angel bossed over him and he simply let her. For all the things he did special for her, this weekend was going to be about him. She wanted to woo him the way he did her; love him with the same mad passion as he did her. Smiling at her own thoughts, she stepped into the bathroom for a quick shower.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He smiled as he saw a car parked indicating that Geet had already arrived. He paused in the living room looking at the arrangements on the dining table. Flowers, candles, pasta, yummy chocolate mousse for dessert; looks like she had plans for the night already. Hmmm, we'll see about that. Tonight he was in a different mood. He was craving being the shikar of his sherni. The moments when Geet the loving wife, caring mother, devoted bahu all left and she was simply his. All his. His lover whose love consumed with a passion just as large as his. How he loved to watch her unravel before his eyes when her passion took over her patience, when she gave up all her senses and became one with him. Her beautiful eyes all large doe like and glassy, her breathing hitched with his, her hands not knowing where they wanted to go first, her mouth seeking and consuming him. He had to admit that as much as he loved to be the one loving her, he loved being loved by her more.

Chuckling to himself, he made his way to the bedroom upstairs, his actions planned in his mind. Lucky for him, she was in the shower. As soon as he heard the shower turn off, he started on his plan...

"Geet, Geet, kahan ho... Geet jaldi bahar aao... owww...ouch..." with pitiful but loud moans he waited for the door to open.

Practically an everyday sight which still clutched at his heart, he saw her running out wrapping herself in a large towel. Water droplets, like a hundred diamonds on her face glittered on her pearly skin. Yet again, his heart thudded loudly in his chest as he watched the droplets roll down over her milky shoulders and merge with the towel.

Poem found by Naureen (Koolsmile)

Jab khuda ne tumhe banaya hoga
Ek suroor sa dil par chhaya hoga
Pehle socha hoga jannat me rakh lun
Phir ussey mere dil ka khayal aaya hoga

The urge to taste each and every drop flashed in his eyes but he stopped that thought. It had been a while since it had been just the two of them alone and he wanted to make this night last forever...

"Kya hua Maan, aap chilla kyun rahe ho... tabiyat kharab hai kya... why are you looking like this...", she ran over to run a hand across his face worried for him..

"Pata nahin Geet poora body hurt ho raha hai...Sugar bhi low hai... I am feeling so weak... mera kya hoga", moaning and groaning he removed his shoes and socks and stretched on his stomach hiding his face in the bed.

The countdown in his head started 1...2...3...4

"Koi baat nahin...", she tried hard not to let the disappointment show, "... aap bed pe so jayiye, main kapde change karke aati hoon, thoda rest kijye you will feel better soon".

#Oh no, aisa karegi toh natak ka kya fayda...#

"Nahi, Ouch... Oww...", his drama gained tempo, "...Pehle mujhe massage de do, phir chali jaana Geet, bohut dard ho raha hai", he added making puppy eyes.

"Par Maan mere paas koi balm bhi toh nahi hai, kaise karoo...", she tried to reason with him.

"Tum apne haathon se kar do, or you sit on my back... tumhare weight se bhi accha lage ga...", wanting her near he accidentally blurted out the last part.

"Weight se, kya matlab hai aapka; Main moti ho gayi hoon kya, kya keh rahe hai aap, mera weight ek kilo bhi nahi badha hai, samjhe aap", she had turned a nice shade of red fuming and looking away from him now.

#Oh no, yeh gaadi toh wrong track pe chali gayi#, he quickly tried to back pedal.

"Geet tumhe sirf apni padi hai, yaha main dard se tadap raha hoon aur tum kuch bhi keh rahi ho.. ", he looked at her with sad eyes sticking his lower lip out a bit.

"Agar tumhe massage nahi dena hai toh chodo, main aise hi so jaata hoon", he made a face and turned his back to her.

She turned around to face him feeling bad. He was in pain and she could not leave him like that.

"Apna shirt toh nikalo, main kaise massage karoo", she said standing over him.

"Tum nikalo, na nikalo, mujhe koi parwah nahi hai...", he resolutely looked away from her.

She came to the other side and slowly her hands removed his shirt, running her hands over his chest in the process. She looked at his body longingly. How she had dreamed of this being a passionate night but alas he was sick.

A tremor ran through him with her touch and the melting look in her caramel eyes trailing over his shoulders and his abs.

"Tum wahi looks de rahi ho, jisse tum pregnancy hormones ka naam de rahi thi", he looked at the sexy expressions in her eyes.

"Kaunse looks Maan, main toh aap ka shirt nikal rahi hoon", she evaded his eyes, fingers running slightly over his abs as she pulled the shirt from under his belt.

"Mujhe din mein do multivitamins leni padti thi Geet. Kabhi kissi husband pe itne attyachar nahi hue hoge, jitne mujh par huwe hain", tongue in cheek he complained.

"Haaawww, main, main kar rahi thi woh sab...aap, ... aap hi toh woh sab karte the...", turning pink at his words she slapped his hands away that were trying to reach under the towel now.

"Dekha, phir se "woh" aa gaya tumhara. Mujhe pata tha... mujhe dekhte hi tumhari neeyat bigad jaati hai...", he held onto her hand trying to stop her from leaving the bed.

"Chodiye mujhe, main aap se baat nahi karoongi... Meri neeyat bigad jaati hai na, toh main dekhungi bhi nahi.. chaddo...", she turned her face away.

"Kam se kam massage shuru kiya hai woh poora toh karo, yaha, back of the legs bhi hurt ho raha hai", he moaned a little more for effect.

She glared at his back.

"Tumhe na aaj kal apne Maan ki bilkul fikar nahi hai, rehne do", he pressed the winning point home and turned his back to her again. He knew she would never leave now.

Still in a miffed mood she started moving her hands over his back. Slowly her eyes roved over the perfect muscles there and in no time the feel of the warm skin under her fingers had worked its magic on her. Seconds turned into minutes. With the first of her movements Maan had become restless but he had learnt over time that when the sherni was on shikar he should let her. His wife's passions echoed his and he loved to be the one drowning under her touches.

Geet still lost in her thoughts noted that he was perfectly still so maybe he was asleep. She moved herself to half lie on him now, running her hands over his skin as she trailed small kisses from his shoulders down to the middle of his spine. If she had any sense left she would have realized that the galloping that she heard was his heart. Her lips moved to the nape of his neck as she planted more kisses there heading down, her tongue making small twirls on his back. Wanting to feel her skin warm on his she slowly removed her towel tossing it aside and slipped the sheet over them. There was possibly no addiction more than touching him and loving him.

She remembered the pregnancy days when she had craved him like crazy. It was true, she giggled to herself, she had run him ragged with her demands. Her hands ran lovingly over his back and over his lower half.

It was good that he was asleep otherwise he would start complaining about her attyachar. She giggled thinking about it, "the great MSK par attyachar by his wife", tomorrow's headlines! Nautanki kahin ka! She knew how much he loved her attyachar. Still it seemed like her night to touch and caress him and as he moved to his side she followed reaching her hand over to his belt buckle and slowly stripping him from below.

He must be really tired she thought otherwise there was no way she could have gone this far. She raised herself slightly to check him out fully and sighed. God in heavens, the man was perfect. Since his legs were hurting she moved down to massage the back of his thighs. Running her hands over the steel of his thighs and legs, she was practically purring now. Did he not say that he wanted her weight on his back? Hmmm, ever ready to perform her duties, she slid her warm self over his back. Oh gosh, that felt heavenly. Every pore of her front soothed by every pore on his back. She rubbed herself over him slightly and if not for that small feline movement Maan would have controlled himself some more.

Quickly he turned her around and pinned her under him as his mouth sought hers. Tongues dueled and meshed, tasting and tantalizing each other. Hands rubbed silky skin, tongue and teeth taking paths that led to gasps and moans. Her body was warm and soft with desire, her eyes glazed over and he looked down at her with love as they became one. Their frantic movements released all the pent up desires that they had to keep in check. As their movements reached a crescendo, their heartbeats sang in tune as they scaled their heights together. Slowly drifting down from the highs they were wrapped up in each other still breathing harshly.

He looked at her face still reflecting the passion that was still stamped on it. Her eyes reflected her love as she ran her hands down his arms and held him closer to her.

"Geet... agar tum mujhe aise dekhti rahogi toh tumhe mujh se pyaar ho jaayega", he ran his hands over her cheeks, tucking her hair behind her ears, his eyes never leaving hers.

"Main toh waise bhi aap se pyaar karti hoon, aap hi toh har waqt mazaak karte rehte ho", she held his gaze.

"Main mazaak na karoo toh kya karoon Geet..." he touched his forehead to hers "... jab bhi tumhe dekhta hoon toh sochta hoon ki tumhe utha ke kahin le jaaoon. Kahin dur vaadiyon mein jahan tumhare aur mere beech koi nahi ho. Sirf tum aur sirf main. Do dhadkan ek jaan".

She cupped his face in her hands looking at him longingly "... Main bhi yahi sochti hoon Maan. Aap jab bhi mujhe aise dekhte hain, main sochti hoon ke daud ke aap ki bahon mein aa javoon; aur jab apki bahon mein hoti hoon toh sochti hoon ki jald se jald aap mein sama javoon".

"Kitne din ho gaye tumse itne paas huwe. Aaj sirf hum dono hai yaha. Aaj main poori raat tumhe pyaar karna chahta hoon. Aaj poori raat tum mujhse pyaar karogi, samjhi tum"

"Wahi toh kar rahi thi... ", she pouted dramatically then questioned, "... par aap ka sugar low hai na, uska kya kiya jaaye".

"Is liye toh tum meri baahon mein ho Geet, mere paas. Sugar low ka matlab yeh hua na ki mujhe kuch mishti khana padega..." he raised his eyebrows comically. His mouth reached over to fake bite her cheeks and chin "Hmmm, low sugar getting normal now".

"Aap kab sudhroge mujhe pata nahi Maan..."

"Kyun, itna bura hoon"

"Nahi nahi, perfect ho, mere ho, mere Dr. Khurana".

"Geet, main tumhare liye kuch laya hoon, pehna doon". When she just nodded her head with a smile he reached over to get the gift box by the bed opening it to reveal a beautiful pair of anklets. Raising the sheet slightly and pointing her feet towards him, she waited for him to put the anklets on. When he was done, she felt her cheeks flush again as she noticed his lips heading towards the anklets, his long fingers wrapping around her foot.

With the first kiss near her anklets, his lips reached on further up. As his lips climbed up her thigh, his beard lightly scraped her skin along the way. A sudden shot of desire coursed through Geet as he lightly bit then licked the birthmark on her inner thigh continuing on up. "Maan..." she groaned reaching for him pulling him up to her.

"Geet, aaj koi rukawat nahi, koi jaldi nahin, aaj mujhe tumhe jee bhar ke pyar karne do bas", he kissed her making his way down to her belly button biting it slightly. Geet knew that when Maan was in this mood, there was going to be no stopping him. She lay back feeling wave after wave of desire flooding her, her hands fisting the sheets near her twisting and arching her body offering herself to the passion of his lips and tongue. He sought the smoothness of her shoulder, lightly licking her earlobes, scattering kisses in her neck as he covered her body with his grinding himself into her slightly. A deep moan arose from her when he finally gave in to her demands.

tere kehre badan mein sil jaaungi re

jab karwat lega, chhil jaaungi re

din dube na

o saathi re

din dube na

A night of passion is what they wanted and got. Late into the night they went down to grab some dinner. Her in his kurta, him in his tracks and black vest. They quickly made a plate bringing it to the sofa and fed each other. When she saw some chocolate mousse left over on his lips, she simply reached over and kissed it off. Peaceful and content, they were wrapped in each other's arms.

" Mujhe aap ko ek baat batani hai ", she said tucking herself more close to him.

"Bolo na Geet, main sun raha hoon", he smiled at her lovingly.

" Mujhe aap ke tabiyat ki fikar hone lagi hai ", she smiled to herself now.

"Kyun, kya hua hai mujhe, ekdum fit and fine toh hoon, dekho", he lowered his face to ask her puzzled.

"Aap ko phir se do do multivitamin leni padegi... ", she smirked silently, pressing her lips to stop the giggle that was ready to erupt out of her throat.

"Phir se matlab, main toh abhi bhi roz multivitamin le raha hoon", he answered her.

Suddenly it occurred to him what she was saying. Do multivitamin.

"Geet, sach..., Mansi is going to have a brother or sister... Thank you Babaji" he hugged her to himself kissing her on her forehead. They held each other content with the blessings showered on them. Soon she turned slightly away to look at him.

She had an impish smile on her face now.

"Aap samaj gaye na maine aap ko yaha iss sunsan farmhouse mein kyun bulaya hai", she was totally enjoying giving back all the teasing in spades now.

"To give me the good news aur kya ho sakta hai...", he countered.

"Pregnancy ke saath kuch aur bhi hota hai Maan", she raised an eyebrow, looking him up and down.

"kya, ... kya matlab hai tumhara Geet", he said falteringly. He had guessed what she had meant long ago but this nok-jhok with her and a teasing relaxed Geet was just too precious to let go so fast. She wanted to tease him and he welcomed that happily. He wanted to savor her playfulness, his mishti, his love, the mother of his child, no children.

"... pregnancy hormones...", she raised and lowered her eyebrows rapidly, copying his comical style.

"Dekho Geet, yeh sab late pregnancy mein hota hai, pehle se nahi", he rose from the sofa putting distance between them.

"Main ek doctor hoon, mujhe yeh sab pata hai.. tum abhi se mujh par attyachar nahi kar sakti...".

Secretly tickled to death by his naughty wife, he continued his playfulness with her as he tried to run away from her.

"Main complaint karoonga, dekho yeh sab galat hai, meri bhi kuch izzat honi chahiye", his hands crossed over himself as if to protect himself.

"Tum mujhe aise use nahi kar sakti, meri complaint har ghar tak pohuchegi".

She chased after him with a pillow in hand while he ran for his life around the sofa.

"'Main pregnancy hormones se pidhit patiyon' ka morcha laga doonga, hum Prime minister se milenge Geet", they were playfully running around the sofa now.

"Agar kissi ne na suni, toh mein Parliament mein yeh issue uthvaooga".

She was laughing her heart out tears running down her face as she chased after him.

"Geet, Geet, Geet...mujhe bhagwan ke liye chod do", he was laughing hard with her antics now.

"Tumhe bhagwan ke liye chod doon, toh mere kya hoga Maan, mere pregnancy hormones ka kya hoga...", she pretended to look at him lecherously laughing along with him.

"Iss baar toh mein oxygen ka cylinder lagvaoogi, aap waise bhi budhe ho rahe ho...", she said daring to tease the mighty sher.

Suddenly he stopped and turned around "Budha, main budha ho raha hoon. Geet ki bachi abhi ruk, main dikhata hoon tumhe...".

He scooped her in his arms cradling her and rubbing his beard on her cheeks tickling her, "Buddha hoon main.., bolo Geet bolo", he tickled her more. Her sides were hurting from all the laughing.

She brought her arms tighter around him and kissed his cheek "Nahi, nahi, aap mere hot and happening hubby ho".

"Mujhe abhi se budha nahi hona hai Geet. Abhi toh mujhe saari zindagi tumhe pyaar karna baki hai", returning her kisses, he said "I love you Geet, main tumhe bata bhi nahi sakta ki main tumse kitna pyaar karta hoon".

"I love you too Dr. Khurana".

and they loved happily ever after...

My my my! What a terrific update it was! 👏

First of all, here's a little thank you speech of mine in response to that of yours:
Thank you to all those people who supported and encouraged Avi in this. It means a lot to her and it's because of this that we got to read such a wonderful creation. Most of all, thank you to the brilliant mind which sits in your head and the beautiful heart which beats for your own personal Dr. K. If it wasn't for the combination of these two, this story would never have been possible!

At the start, I could picture Maan driving the car with his right elbow propped up on the open window and the hand forming a loose fist over his mouth, a serene expression on his face as he thought about the recent events which changed his life for the better.

When the curtains of ego and anger and greed are lifted from one's eyes, there's nothing except the truth left to be seen. The truth which we often overlook either willingly or unwillingly. The curtain of ego removed from the Khuranas' eyes from the truth of Geet's love and its magnanimity. The truth of Pammi's real treasure being her husband and her family rather than the money which she always looked at. The truth of Pammi not being a very hate-able woman for Maan after all. All these truths revealed and laid out in front of those whose eyes were veiled with either a prejudice against middle class or anger towards the family or not realising the true treasure in the glittering shine of money... All of this made the perfect family reunion, the family letting bygones be bygones! It's often said that a child brings a couple closer but here the birth of a child brought a family together. Children are indeed God's gifts! 😊

Dr. Khurana made me fall for him all over again with his fatherly affections. The way he endeavoured to spend some quality time with his daughter as well as discreetly sharing his wife's chores is absolutely loveable. ❤️ I really wanted to see this in the show. To see Maan bond with his son as he grows, to see Maan helping Geet in raising their son. But alas! All wishes are not meant to be fulfilled!

Maan and Geet here were the perfect picture of two people deeply in love, who'd do anything for the other person, to keep them happy and to make the smallest moments a pleasure to treasure forever!

And the naughtiness comes right back in! The mischievousness just changed the whole feel of the chapter enough to have me grinning and laughing at all the multivitamins and pidhit patiyon pe attyachar and the weight issues and the age issues and the joking and fun they chatted about! 😆

I know you've been worried about how the special part of this chapter came out and if you went overboard with it. But trust me, it turned out to be perfect. Just the right amount of sensuality which spoke not of lust but of their love. The way you presented it made me love their love!

Yes yes, I noticed two SBVs in there! But my reaction to both of these was different. One made me go 'aww' with the picture it must have made for Geet: little Mansi sleeping on her father's chest. The second one had me 'ooh-ing'! You know how much I love the combination of tracks and black vest on that man, don't you? 😳

The poem was just wonderful! I have a few lines running around in my head but I can't just put them here. 😊

Although this epilogue was a perfect closure to their story, I can think of many more things about how the story can revolve further from here on. For example: The baby being born, Maan's bonding with the child, Mansi's relationship with her sibling, Geet and Maan's love evolving over time, and the list does on and on! 😆

I cannot be thankful enough to you for letting us be a part of this story for which I think my words will fall short! I'll be waiting to read whatever you decide to post henceforth! 😊
