The surprise for me here was Shoki raising Suta. I wonder how he got her to begin with. His importance of education for her, his wish that she not be disturbed during her exams, his even sending her back when he was not well; all signs that he was probably in his heart best as a teacher. The only blemish is that one night he lost himself. It is so true that lapse in judgement can ruin a life forever. This is the reasons why our parents and society drill those rules and regulations in us.

Maan and Suta... what a strange yet endearing relationship. The unwanted protector who is now the parent. Least does he know how she resents the attention that he got, the one she craved.

Very interesting that what saved him, hurt her. Her being raised already as an almost Khurana, Will she accept him as a parent though? She sounds self reliant enough.

Geet's photo rejected by Mamta only would make his interest go up.. Did Mamta already know that? I am pretty sure she would know that or would have guessed her son's actions.

I am so overwhelmed by this story line. Each update has me craving for more.

I am so so glad you stuck with this.

Here the maan is so sweet and just love the way story is moving...

Hopefull suta will accept maan as her father.Just one question wht does Suta mean...i mean honestly i didnt like that name that much😳...

update was beautiful, painful and interesting...

Suta hates Maan because she thinks Maan has snatched her moments with her father...

Maan adores her as his own daughter...he felt connection with her through his pain of longing for parent's love...atleast Maan is living in his house and get love and care of atleast his grandmother but Suta was always away to the Hostel...

Maan is attracted towards Geet...he without knowing kept her photo in his purse...

Really its becoming difficult fr me to wat to comment ...when d chapter ended i was lyk ohh y it ended, i wanted to read more ...yup always greedy fr ur writing😛

ok so chapter started wid blowing d dust frm cover of diary ...n u grabbed my interest frm dat vry moment (well question is when u didn't grabbed my attention wid ur writing😆)...he also is in need of some "blowing"...n i hope suta can do dis job ...Suta hates him n i dnt blame her wat can a teenage girl can do who's deprived of care ,warmth n love of her parents all her lyf...its d circumstances dat r making her to hate him n its vry natural... so when he'll receive d same ignorance n hatred frm his baby he'll realize his folly wat he's doing to his mother...m nt saying wat his mother did to him was right bt wat he's doing to her is also nt right...Suta's formal behavior lyk calling him sir n nt accepting his favor was pinching his heart...its goin to b vry painful fr him when he'll face d indifference frm his baby ... relationships dnt last long when its bound in formality. its lyk essence of it is missing...

what a twist dear

now all the facts abt suta is reavealed

so it is easier to understand the story

but u have created a whole web of complicated relationships

maan years for his mother's love but is indifferent towards her

though her mother loves her son and waiting for a tinge of love in her son's eyes

suta yearn for his father's love

but has started hating the father figure maan

she is indifferent to maan's eyes looking only at her

oh dear such complexities

sometimes we get involved in our self so much that we fail to see the very thing,which is right infront of us , but still only yearning.

and we will say it is not my mistake and keep blaming the other one

so geet left suta with her father

and now her PARENTS are looking for an alliance for her

and how can maan and geet stay away from each other😆😆😆😆

pinu i was reading the previous chapter again

it was so great the way rano explained every thing to geet

this thing which is so crucial for us but we tend not to talk abt it openly

but i think if anyone is explained like rano did to geet

teenager girls all doubts will get cleard up and they will understand the real meaning of such things

one thought popped in my mind what if rano had explained to geet when her periods started

and the meaning of periods and every thing

i know the story would not have forwarded the way u wanted it to

but u know the way u very simply explain such sensitive issue

( and other issues like sibling rivalry or a person falling in love twice as every one has their own spcl place )

so i was just wondering how would u let any mother in ur story teach her daughter abt periods and its meanings with out the daughter getting scared or apprehensive .

would love to have ur views on this in ur work dear

How do you do it Pilli. How do you grab the reader's hearts with each and every update. Yet again I am overwhelmed by the depth of emotions and sensitivity with which you have presented this chapter.

I am also amazed by all the comments the readers have posted. You have some very amazingly intelligent readers and I think I understood the chapter more looking at it through their perspective.

I especially loved comments given by Punam2012, nostalgic_soul, dqno1, ddgcmgfan, shonameet, diva7 and gudmeet.

Amazing comment guys. Comments that you have given deep thought to, before posting and I know that takes a lot of effort, but it makes them extra special, just because of that.

There really is nothing more I could add from my side.

To me Ashok is the most pitiable character in this story. However he may have ended up with Suta, the guilt he felt perhaps everytime he looked at her, did not allow him to be a nurturing and a loving father that he had the potential to become. That is why perhaps he showered that care on Maan.

Loved the heart touching moment between Maan and Suta under the table.

And loved the lighter moment of Maan's live in relationship with Mr. B😆

Suta is now at an age her mother was, when she had her. Wonder what she will feel when she know that.

So many questions have risen in my mind after this chapter.

How are Maan an Suta going to bond as father and daughter, even as they share this strange since childhood.

What will Geet feel about Mohinder and Rano when she comes to know about Suta(I am assuming Suta is Geet's daughter and Rano and Moinder were the one's who handed her over to Ashok)

What will Suta feel when she knows about Geet being her mother.

I feel she is going to meet Geet as her teacher.

So, is Maan going to meet Geet as Suta's teacher and find out 's the woman in the pic of his prospective bride?😉

Ahh!! I just want to find the answeres to my questions right now and yet I want to savor slowly each unfolding relationship in this beautiful story.

Waiting really, really eagerly for the next layer to unfold.
