Finally the wall was cracking, the wall that she had build around her,the wall which was slowly engulfing her in the world of solitude and pain, it was necessary for her to shed all her bottled up pain and agony in which she was loosing herself. This was not my Geet I needed to get her back to me cos I was also a reason of her pain. I had pushed her in her hell . Had I at that time, things would have been different.

I hadn't slept a wink last night, in the aftermath of our moments Geet had slipped into a deep slumber but her sudden appearance yesterday had woken me up of my sleep I needed to find out what had transpired in my absence.A little movement of Geet broke my reverie and reminded me that her bag was left back in the car as she had shifted to her side I carefully covered her and slowly slipped out of the bed and headed to get her belongings. Her bag was wet so thought of removing her clothes from her bag while doing that her divorce papers slipped out confirming my earlier assumptions. She had indeed been abononed by her family and her so called husband.

While reading through papers the cause burned my blood and all the pieces fell into place, all the events since the fateful day and last night became crystal clear...

I saw Geet getting restless before she would wake up I quickly removed my shirt and slept beside her only to find her cuddling in me and sleeping with her head on my chest. Even in her sleep she was so vulnerable.

But I knew her little too well so just closed my eyes and pretended to sleep even when she woke up I remained still, I gauged every expression, every movement of hers, Her trying to avoid me and escape any conversation with me since last night.

Was all heading to only one direction but this time I won't let that happen. I had been a fool to fight an already lost battle I can't undo the damage in past but will not make any mistake now and will see to it that even Geet doesn't.

Geet's painful plea just stabbed my heart. I had to stop her at any cost.

"Jaane dijiye mujhe". I turned away from him only to hear him say,

"Geet tumhe yaad hein yahi woh shabd the jo tumne sabse pehli baar mujhse kahe the, par hamaara rishta kabhi inn shabdo ka mohtaaj nahi tha". Turning me towards him he said,

"Dekho meri taraf aur kaho ke tum mujhse door jaana chahti ho, kaho ke tum mere bina reh sakti ho. Bolo Geet jawab do mujhe"?

"Mere paas aapke sawaalon ke koi jawab nahi hein kuch nahi jaanti mein kuch nahi samajna chahti mein, bas mujhe jaane dijiye yehi hum dono ke liye sahi hein, mera aap ke saath hona theek nahi".

"Kya kahan tumne hamaara saath hona theek nahi, kya hamaara rishta tumhaare liye koi maayne nahi rakhta, kal jo hamaare beech hua usse tum kya kahogi, kya tumhe usse sharmindgi mahsoos ho rahi hein aur agar ho rahi hein to kyon nahi mitta deti yeh daag tumhari maang ka bolo Geet,

Thik hein mein hi mitta deta hoon iss daag ko".

"Maan"!!!! I cried but he just hauled me to him

"Kya Maan hmmm,kya Maan bolo Geet tum yahi chahti ho na ke hum alag ho jaaye, ek galti meine ki uss waqt, apne ateet se bhaagte bhaagte meine hum donno ka bhavishya daav pe laga diya aur aaj tum bhi wahi galti kar rahi ho. Ek umar beet jaati hein Geet ek rishtey ko mukkammal banate banate aur hamaara rishta kuch pal saath bita kar umar bhar ke liye bina kissi naam, bina kissi pehchaan,bina kissi ummeed ke juda raha".

"Kyun Geet kyun tum shaadi kar ke bhi mujhe apne dillo dimaag se nahi nikaal paayi, kyun mein har waqt tumhaare hi baare mein sochta rehta yeh jaante hue bhi ki tumhaari shaadi ho gayi hein".

"Kyun baar baar mein bechain rehta jaise tum thik nahi, woh kaunsi dor thi jo humme jode rakhi hui thi kabhi socha tumne"?

I turned away not meeting his gaze I was falling weak only to be pulled around again by him,"Meri taraf dekho Geet meri baat abhi poori nahi hui hein"...

"Mein batata hoon, kyunki hamaara rishta rooh se juda hua hein Babaji ki neymat hein. Bas mein hi nahi samaj paaya." "Sab meri ek galti ki wajah se hua mein hi tumhara sabse bada gunehgaar hoon jo chahe sazaa de do par please ab mujhe chodke mat jao, mein ji nahi paunga. Mar jaunga mein Geet marjaunga".

"Maan",she screamed slapping him across his face,"Aapki himmat kaise hui yeh bolne ki aapki zindagi meri hein samjhe aap, aap ka uss par koi haque nahi, koi haque nahi..."she mumbled hitting him constantly.

I tried to hug her but she raised her hand indicating a no," Nahi".
