Few men actually notice what the women put on their faces. They definitely notice what's on the body but the face nope. It's like asking a man to take a look at his back with his own eyes. No matter how much he twists and turns he just can't see it.
Me and my husband were going to a party once. I was in a rush, doing the 101 things we women do simultaneously and forgot to check myself in the mirror before stepping out of the house. I asked my husband if I was looking alright. He glanced at me and said you are looking great.
On reaching the party I got a couple of weird looks. I was puzzled. My friend who came over to greet me looked at me and gasped, "Oh my god what happened to your eye."
I rushed to her bathroom only to see nice dark smoky makeup on one eye and the other was completely bare as I had forgotten to put makeup on it and it looked like I had been punched in on eye. Needless to say after that incident and after the conversation we had after that incident, my husband always makes sure he looks at my face properly.
And we poor souls put so much effort into putting all that goop on.
One of my friends husband has a standard joke that he always cracks.
He says whenever I ask my wife why is it taking her so long to put make up on she always says , "Honey I'm trying to get the natural look".😆
