just came across this story and i must say it is an amazing one..

Part 5-

I was desperately waiting for farewell party. I was making my plans. But were they of any use. I couldn't ask her out straight away. So i decided to at least talk to her. Sagar and Joon were asking me to propose her. They were telling me all horrific stories (horrific for me) that how her few classmates were already all set to propose her. Of course she was beautiful, intelligent, nave, innocent then why won't anybody like her. When i was nearing to a nervous breakdown, Sagar asked me to relax and told me that she had clearly denied for any relationship. She wanted an arrange marriage. I was bit relaxed but still arrange marriage was something which was disturbing me. I decided to talk to Daadu later after farewell party.

Farewell party was organised in college grounds only. And as par tradition there was paper dance. I was so sure Samaira or some other girl would surely try to dance with me. But I'm Maan singh Khurana. True that i couldn't dare to talk to my love about my feelings but it never meant that somebody could do anything with me against my wishes. After the usual starting drama and lunch, i received call from Daadu. He was getting bored so decided to disturb me. I just asked him to stalk his wife rather disturbing me in my mission. He was smirking when i disconnect. I knew that i was caught and a full fledge interrogation was on way.

I sighed and went back. Paper Dance had started and girls were waiting for me. She was typing message on her cell phone. I announced that i wanna dance with Geet Handa. Simple and clear. Except my buddies, everybody was shocked but the girl i was waiting to shock was immersed in her cellphone. Finally she looked up when her bestie poked her and surprised to see everyone looking at her. I asked everyone to relax. I didn't want to mess up with my chance. I took her hand and we started dancing. I was looking at her. She was very uncomfortable. So to make her relax i started a verbal fight with Sagar who was beside me with one of our classmates. But then i saw her getting angrier. I prayed to god to save me. Looking at her face, i started expecting a slap from her. Last straw when i asked her to put her feet on mine. She did but within a minute she put her foot outside the paper and we were out. I sighed. She got a call and went outside. I wanted to go after her but couldn't. Farewell ended with no more surprises. Usual girls senti stories and boys talking about meeting again.

That night of course, my interrogation started. I made up some stories about some prank mission on my buddies. I ran to my backyard after dinner. I was feeling empty. It was a feeling like i have left one part of my life behind me. College was over. I still didn't know what to do. I wanna cry.

Then i just looked at a window on first floor and saw her. I felt renewed energy in me. Then next moment i thought of killing myself for not using this opportunity. It struck me hard that all through this time she was living so near to me and i never knew. I felt as world's biggest idiot. If i would have known where she was living i had a big chance of talking to her or knowing many things about her. I cursed myself hundredth time. She was gone. I went back little tensed.

Daadu was in my room. He asked me about my problem. He gave me ultimatum to tell the truth. I told him about everything. He asked me to find out about her village details and some other details. That was easy. I got them from my contact in admin department in my college after my first exam.

After my exams tried to stalk her. She was such a kid. Angry sometimes and sometimes she would give a big smile even if u have given her a Hajmola candy. Leave chocolate aside. She used to go out with a girl. I think it was her elder sister. She was beautiful girl and from a distance u could easily see love and possessiveness in her for her little sister. She used to call her "bachha". Of course geet was still looked like a kid.

It was time for me to go to banglore for my MBA on my Dad's insistence. I went away. I was really feeling empty. I didn't eat for few day. I was feeling homesickness. After one week, Daadu called me that he met her family. I was shocked. Then he explained that he had gone to her villege to buy some property. There he met her daarji. He was fun-loving person and they had become friends. I was quite happy. Time to time i got updates on her. After her college, she went for post graduation. Her sister was selected as an IPS officer. Sitting in Banglore i could feel her happiness. I have seen their bond during my stalking time. I came back.

Then daadu told me that she was going to prepare for civils. Of course i also wanted to go for civil services. Daadu also encouraged me. But what i didn't know that daadu had planned something else for me. Both old men i.e. Daadu and her Daarji, had agreed to at least try to set both of us once in future. After her post graduation she shifted to some PG and started preparing for the exams.

And then after 2years 6 months 25 days, i saw her at a book shop. I was buying books and she came there. She looked and smiled at me. That took my breath away. Was she conspiring against me. I was already mad about her. She was happy to see me. Her happiness was more about meeting someone from the college. But I was happier. We talked for sometimes about our friends and what they were doing and about college. Then she left. When she was leaving as a typical Indian i was praying for her to turn back and look at me. She did and my joy was beyond the words. I was on moon. I was so happy that after going home i danced on all type of songs for atleast one hour. I sent her friend request on her Facebook account but it was of no use as she hardly visit the site. Who cares at least on FB i was her friend.

After 3 months, we got a marriage invitation card from her family. It was her sister's marriage. I wanted to go with Daadu. But he clearly said no. I was so angry. I didn't talk to Daadu next day.

Daadu manofied me with all his tricks. Daadu with dadi went for her sister's marriage. They came back. I saw her pics. She was looking out of the world in red and green lahanga..

Till now everybody had come to know my secret. Seeing her in pics, everybody admired my geet. And after that started teasing session.

Finally i got selected and the best news i received was that she was also selected. I was so happy. But i was afraid what if somebody else would go and ask for her hand. I was so worried. My happiness was little dented with this fear. Daadu asked me the reason in night and i told him as usual. Then he told me his secret pact with Geet's daarji. And finally my happiness was complete. People say that when you are happy you sleep peacefully but I was so happy that i couldn't sleep whole night. Daadu talked to her family. They were happy with this relation. At that time her sister Meera was in Delhi. After getting the news, she asked me to meet her. We met in CCD. She was worried. When i asked the reason she told me about her considering Geet as her child. she was worried about her innocence and couldn't trust anybody so easily.

I asked her to trust me and then i told her about my love for Geet. She was so happy that she jumped and hugged me tightly. I admired Meera Di for her love for Geet. End of the day she was happy with this relationship. She asked to come to her village on this weekend only.

I wanted to surprise Geet. I wanted to see her shocked face with her big eyes. Last time i gave her a shock on farewell. But this was a bigger Jhtaka. So she had no information about the guy who was coming to meet her. Finally when i entered in her room, she was sitting. She was very nervous just like her first day in college. When she noticed that it was me who had entered in her room. She was shocked was just an understatement. To give her another shock i pulled her by her hand and just said, "Marry Me". It was quite a fun to see her face. Before she could come out of the shock Meera di came back. She had that known teasing smile on her face which nowadays has become quite common site. She took Geet outside. Everyone was happy.

We came back. Preparation has been started. We are getting married after one month. I am so so so happy. I have everything i love. My family, my job and my love, my Geet.

I'm sorry guys. i forgot yesterday night about giivng an update. i'm not regular writer. that's why sometimes i even forget that i'm writng something. and after changing the name, two three times i opened this story to find that it is mine only not any new story.

i've ended the story. i know i little messed up in the end. i hope u like it.. encourage me please. this is my first dare on IF..😆😆😆😆
