Part ---3

I am the luckiest man in this world. I've achieved everything today.

I can't tell how happy i am right now. I just got to know we are getting married in one and half month. I'm top of the world right now.

Right now I am on my bed remembering yesterday's happenings. Her face when she saw me entering in her room and then after my proposal. She was too shocked to react. I smiled at her expression.

I still remember first time i saw her. She was innocent, pure beauty but too scared. I think she was scared of ragging. But this much scared. I was sure that looking at her some of her own classmates will rag her.

It was her first day. That time I didn't know that she was my junior which i got to know after one week. I and My classmates had gone to her class to tell them not to worry and if anybody tries to rag them they should report to us. the only reason for this was we didn't want anyone to rag our junior except us. 😉

Well she was sitting in the last seat of first bench and still afraid. I saw her relieved a little bit after what we said but once we started taking intro from last seat. Back benchers first. she was again nervous. Till her turn came the period was over and her name remained a mystery. I thought of asking her before my exit but refrained myself.

We were busy in the arrangement of fresher's party. It was in a disc. We kept a colour code of black. It was first time i saw her in jeans. She had hair band in her hair of black color and no make up. There i got to know about her. Her name was Geet Handa and she was from hosiyarpur. She is quite intelligent and she loves reading stories. My classmates made fun of her by asking that had she travelled by bullock cart from her village. She didn't reply but the embrassment was visible on her face. My buddy Sagar immediately asked her to relax and later others also apologised. She was very hesitant be it dancing or talking throughout the party. And before exiting she changed in to a kurti. It was quite amusing to me.

Whole year went away. She had made good friends. Their group of 6 girls was quiet famous without their knowledge. These girls were witty, smart and intelligent. They used to comment and fight on boys. All for fun nothing serious. We got to know about this when one day we were sitting in canteen. I, Sagar and Joon with our back to their bench. Two of them were fighting for me. "wo mera hai" first one said the 2^nd girl replied "Nahi nahi abhi karo intezaar kyunki wo mera hai." in a tune. Joon and Sagar were sniggering. Suddenly she interrupted "i don't know why r u so obsessed with him. He is so arrogant." Both girls fired back "tu to bol hi mat. Tyjhe koi ladka pasand hi nahi aata. College se graduate hoke nun to nahi banna tujhe?" she fought back "kyu mujhe pasand hai na Dr. A.P.J Kalam. I love him." "oh shut up Geet. No Kalam kahani now." I was shocked that she is not interested in hot and happening MSK and second shock was her love. Of course i admire our President but a girl saying I love him for him was quite a shock. Well they carried on their discussion on boys of other streams and sometime looking around them to catch new bakra of their discussion.

We all three thoroughly enjoyed their commentary. Suddenly Joon's GF and our classmate, Tamanna, came to us to ask about next lecture and they got to know about us being in canteen. We left canteen. All girls had their hand on their face. Some on their mouth and others on their eyes. It was quite a picture. We started laughing loudly once we were outside the canteen. same voice echoed inside the canteen with few oh my god's.

Whole year went away. It was fun.

It was time for farewell party of our seniors. well i was a hot commodity. So one of our senior girl asked me to dance with her in Paper Dance competition. During this i saw her fuming at me. I couldn't understand why she was fuming as i know she didn't like me a little. So jealousy was out of question. I couldn't find the reason.

Exam time. And this was a stretch of 4 months without seeing her. I couldn't understand what it was. No it can't be love. I never believed in love at first site and puppy love. So couldn't understand what these feelings were that i was so desperate to have one look at her. I just could not understand. I feel frustrated.

I was waiting desperately for college to begin.
